Yeah, I noticed that one too, even the day before the big smash. Amy Kremer, who is most likely her mum, was one of the key organizers behind the rally for Trump and for getting people in by bus from the entire country: she certainly sees it as a fight between Real Americans and un-Americans, in the McCarthyist sense. Amy has now changed out her profile pic on twitter for a photo of - Donald Trump. :)

There are now video clips of some of the mob inside the Capitol loudly chanting "Hang Mike Pence!". I bet there were calls to have Nancy Pelosi share the same fate too...

These clowns have clearly levied war against the United States in exactly the way envisioned by the treason clause of Article III Section 3 of the  Constitution. It is also one of the few federal crimes that can carry the death penalty. I'm normally against capital punishment but for a crime like this where guilt is actually absolutely certain, I'd be fine with seeing the lot hanged. Pour encourager les autres.

One of the most sinister aspects of Wednesday's events is that Trump encouraged his angry fans to attack a building where the three people in the line of succession after himself, if he were removed or died, were working on finally naming - his successor (already elected). Imagine if Pence and/or Pelosi had been taken hostage by a better armed and organized MAGA mob, to put pressure on them? 

That's why there was so much worry about the guys in tactical gear with sidearms and zipties rather than the chuds in casual gear yelling and taking selfies. Analysts who viewed the videos with the guys in tactical gear confirmed they were moving with purpose and deliberation, the way they went through the breached walls and doors reflected military or SWAT training, and they weren't stuffing around like the rest of the entitled wankers who made up the bulk of the crowd. The blocked door that Ashli Bennett was charging at when she was shot led to the chamber where Congresspeople were being evacuated. If the rest of the crowd hadn't rabbitted and had instead broken through that barrier, and those tactical guys had gotten through, serious money is there would have been ISIL-style executions in the Capitol. That's how close it got.

I'm actually wondering what the legal qualification here should be (especially as I have no knowledge of the specifics of American law). Could all of the idiots that burst in the Capitol be honestly charged with treason, as in: deliberate attempt to seize the power from the legal government? I guess some of these people could've been incensed protesters that thought they'd do some shouting and that's it...

Not defending them, because they should've known they were going way too far (and, of course, they were protesting for a completely false cause). I'm just not sure if all of them had this clear of toppling the government...

(on the other hand, there's this clip I've seen in one of Colbert's monologues with a woman that rather plainly proclaimed that storming the Capitol was a "revolution". So...)

What I'm sure of, though, is that Trump and his people *should* be prosecuted for treason or something similar. They clearly intended to disrupt the democractic transition of power by the way of amassing an angry mob and, at the very least, scarying the Congress into some unlawful action.
