*Confused* What is that in regards to? I'm just saying what happened. I don't think anyone is arguing that the Taliban are good and humble people, just like no one is really arguing that Nazis or KKK are good old boys and girls.

Heard on the radio this morning that the Swedish army has been buying Alsatian dogs to launch a breeding stock of their own, for the uses of army and police. No issue with that, Alsatioans are known to be capable and intelligent canines: the troucle is that the dogs they bought came at an extortionate cost. Equal to around 25-30.000$ per animal.  The dogs were not bought trained for any special skills, they were around 1-2 years old and the only demand was that they be healthy and fertile, and with a good appearance. *facepalm*

It seems the firm that got the contract had been handpicked, nobody else were invited to make a bid. The whole affair is to be investigated for suspected corruption, possible bribes and setting aside the law for procuring public goods and services (a law that, by he way, has the acronym LOU )

I only heard about this today, a young girl apparently has already died from it too. And when I did a basic search on YT, I found THREE different videos where people actually did this challenge. One of them was a young girl who thought it would be a good idea to throw it on her brother while he was washing his car.

honestly youtube is terrible and monitoring vids, they only use their automatic program to do so. hatespeech against us trans are totally ok, talk about depression to help others, gone. Flash a breast? gone, have a channel with the sole purpose of harassing other youtubers? no prob.

hm well I only suggested YT because I wasn't sure if legal repurcussions for it would seem heavy handed or not. Though in such a case you would like need to provide gross negligence  or malicious intent, so even if I guess it likely wouldn't work.

The guy is a billionaire businessman, might turn out to be like the Czech version of Donald Trump (weeks before the elections, he was charged with suspicions of fraud regarding EU subsidies that he had handled as a former government minister).

(not sure if this figure of speech exists in English? In Polish, you say that "you don't convince me that white is black and black is white", when you want to say that someone isn't going to make you believe in something obviously untrue)
