I am not sure that is true. A crowd of protestors pulled down some metal barricades and have been scuffling with (outnumbered) police but none have entered any buildings in all the reports I am following.

There was tough talk yesterday from law enforcement sources stating they had plenty of people available and could "surge" police, national guard and Federal agents to threatened points, but once again we seem to be seeing sloppy and badly co-ordinated policing in action.

The Capitol Building complex ought to have been securely locked down from last night with no chance of protestors getting close and disrupting house business.

Senators are basically trapped inside the Senate chamber with protestors outside the doors.  Senators have been advised to protect themselves and take cover under their desks or in the Senate cloakroom should the doors to the chamber be breached.

There has been no word to stop this action from POTUS.  He is maintain radio silence.

People have been inside for a while, I have no idea how they initially got in, obviously there not supposed to be there, but there have also been videos of people fairly calm and casual on the inside. ALthough that was on a live feed, you would probably need to rewind since I'm not sure how to show that.

Although I'm not supporting them, they've broken the law and they shoudl be charged and be held accountable for their actions.

I would not feel bad for these peopel if the National Gaurd counterattacked them with tear gas.

I would love to see the National Guard called out to surround the area and take all - yes all - of the demonstrators into custody.  If gas masks have been handed out inside the building as has been reported tear gas should be showered on the crowd and everyone carted off to a ball field and charged with sedition.

SEDITION -- conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.

This is something you see in some out of control third world nation.
