For decades, the world has seen epic clashes between the forces of good and evil; The likes of Captain America, The Avengers, The X-Men and Doctor Strange have faced off against the legions of Mephisto, The Brotherhood of Mutants, Doctor Doom and many, many more. Their battles shook the ground and sometimes even fractured reality, changing the course of history over and over and over again. But time - though dented and cracked - does march onwards. There will always be old faces fading away and new faces stepping up to make their mark and see to it that their names echo throughout history. No star shines forever, after all.

This is where you come in. The old generation has either died or retired. Whilst a few old timers hang in there, clinging to their pathetic relevance, you know that the time is right to make your entrance on the world stage. New heroes and new villains are emerging from the shadows to stretch their legs, to extend their wings and soar for the heavens, for good or ill. Are you a legacy? A product of two of those eternal names looking to step out from the looming shadow of your parentage? Are you a clone or a cyborg, a copy of somebody famous looking to ride their coat-tails to fame and glory? Or are you a complete unknown, a newcomer, a first-generation Super looking to prove that your mother didn't need to get knocked up by a God for you to be special? Either way...this is your chance to make a mark. It's a wide new world, and the youngsters are taking over. The only question is...will your name echo through the ages? Or will your face be lost to time as one of the "could-have-beens?"

Well hello everybody! You might recognise the title of this thread from a few weeks ago. This game was originally started by Foxy Oni, but with her permission, I've taken over the GM spot after she decided that the game was better off in somebody elses hands. So, I thought a revitalised Recruitment thread would be a good way to reboot the game and get some fresh blood! So let's get right to the moneyzone!


What is the game about?

I'm glad you asked that, disembodied voice in my head! This game is set in the Marvel Universe in the year 2040~. Most of the "Golden Age" villains and heroes - Captain America, Tony Stark, etc - have retired, died or disappeared. Whilst some of them are still hanging around (Doctor Doom is always going to be around somewhere, after all) for the most part, it's a brand new generation, a brand new set of faces and a brand new set of threats. This game is about the new generation of heroes and villains, their (mis)adventures, trials and tribulations. And their sex lives, probably.


Who are the players?

The players can be whoever they want. The game is called "Young Bastards" and was originally envisaged as a Anti-Villain / Villain teamup game. I want to keep that spirit, but also open up recruitment for heroes to play as well. After all, what are villains without heroes to oppose them? So, whilst I would prefer Villains and Anti-Villains, Anti-Heroes and Heroes are more than welcome to join as well! You can be the product of two Heroes (EG, maybe you wanna be the daughter of Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanov), you can be the result of a Villainous coupling, you could be a forbidden tryst between a hero and their arch enemy...you could be a clone or a cyborg, you could even be from the future! Or you could just be an OC, somebody from humble beginnings who hasn't got a lineage...but has a whole lot to prove. It's the Marvel Universe! Nothing is too ridiculous!

NOTE: Due to an imbalance between heroic and villainous characters, we are temporarily closing applications for villains. We are now only accepting heroes. Similarly, we are not accepting applications for Symbiotes due to a high number of Klyntar currently in the game. Applications that are currently in-progress are not affected. <3


What are the restrictions?

The only real restrictions are:

A) No invincibility. Your character has to have a weakness or a vulnerability, and they have to have limits to their strength. Superman might be a fun character to read about, but he's extremely annoying to play opposite because what can you feasibly do against him?

B) No breaking the fourth wall. I know that it's fun to play around with, but that sort of character is hard to pull off well, and often just comes across as "Lolsorandom." If you have an idea you HAVE to play, PM me and we'll talk about it.

C) If you want to have your character linked to an existing character, but that character has been claimed as a parent or mentor, at least talk to the other player involved first. We're all friends here!

And that's it!


What about writing topics? Where is the game placed?

We're in the Extreme section, so anything goes! And I do mean anything. Just make sure to include Content / Trigger warnings in your header, and you'll be A-OK. And, of course, clear what you're doing with the other player first. But that goes without saying.


But what about PvP? With Heroes and Villains running around, there's bound to be some scuffling!

Simply put, be an adult. We're all grown ups here. If somebody doesn't want a fight, either work out a way for them to escape or don't start that fight scene. Simple as that. If you happen to get into a fight, make sure to communicate properly with your partner over what you want to happen, how you both want it to end, and how you're gonna get there. If you start Godmoding, there will be consequences. PvP isn't the focus of the game at all, but it's going to happen at some point, and I want to trust you all to handle it reasonably, responsibly and in good fun. No getting salty because your Alien God doesn't get to dickslap everybody into unconsciousness on his first try!


You keep saying "him" and "her." What about people who don't fit that binary?

LGBTQA+ are more than welcome! Want a transgender character? Go ahead! Homosexual / Pansexual / Bisexual / Asexual? Go ahead! You want a non-binary character? A gender-queer, or gender fluid? Go ahead! Crossdresser? Go ahead! Everything is fair game!

Personality: Joseph is inherently good, as he tries to help people constantly and always stands up for what he believes in and always protected those he cared about fiercely.  Though he is good and cares about everyone, even if they deserve it or not, he is incredibly stubborn. Yet he finds that there is just something missing just outside his reach. No matter how hard he tries to reach it, it slips through his fingers. And those few that call him friend there is none truer.  As he would walk through the gates of hell if it meant saving your life. Yet he is just as vengeful if you were to ever cross that line from friend to enemy. It would be safer on the other side of hells gate thin to face his wrath. And once there it is almost impossible to regain his full trust in you.

Origin and Background: Joseph was the sixth and last child born to Elizabeth  Ashley.  He was her joy.  More sensitive and with an inherently kinder nature than his five older brothers, Joseph gravitated towards his mother’s compassionate and generous ways.  It often put him at odds with his father, Daniel, and his older brothers, but no one would oppose his mother, the loving core, and the strength of their family unit.

 Everything changed on Joseph’s seventh birthday, when his mother, Elizabeth died.  His father Daniel, always jealous of Joseph’s relationship with his now-deceased wife, took out his anger, frustration, and grief on his youngest son.  Compounding Joseph’s loss of the person he loved most in the world, he now had bitterness, contempt, mockery, and hostility to deal with day after day.  His brothers followed their father’s lead and made his life harsh, cold, and hopelessly devoid of tenderness and human decency.

 For nine and a half years, Joseph bore the constant contempt, insults, neglect, and indignity, while an inner darkness built up within him. One night, when he was sixteen and a half, he snapped.  It wasn’t that his father’s actions were any worse that day than they had been before that.  It wasn’t that once again, his brothers sat back and laughed at their father’s cruelty.  It was simply that on that particular evening, the anger and frustration and pain were too much and the darkness within him erupted.   Then, as the shadows slipped away and Joseph came back to himself, hearing the cries from his brothers, begging him to stop.  He felt their hands pulling him off his father and looking down, realized that he had nearly killed the man.

Joseph backed away, horrified at his loss of control, and saw blood on most of his brothers as well.  He looked at his hands, the skin of his knuckles torn, his own blood mixing with that of his family’s.  The young man stumbled from the house, dazed and shocked.  The last thing he heard as his feet faltered on the front porch steps was his father’s voice,” Get out!  You’re no son of mine.  You’ve never been good for anything!”

And with those words, Joseph  Ashley died.  Promising himself that he would never allow anyone to treat him that badly again, he was re-born.  Joseph Wraith walked from the only home he had ever known, finding more peace on grimy, heartless streets of New York than he had known in that house since the death of his mother.

It did not take long for him to acclimate himself to his newfound gifts. Slipping through the shadows like a ghost in the night. Always taking only what he needed to live by. Nothing more nothing less! It left the police baffled for any trace of the crime. Was just a shadow moving past the cameras then the item was gone? Having only arrived in Krakoa Joseph was slowly getting the feel of the place. He was still very much just blending into the crowd. Till he could make a true assessment of his new home but it was so much better than living out on the streets. He actually felt like he could finally call this home after so many years alone.

Powers/Skills/Gadgets:
Joseph can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by accessing a dimension of dark energy it can be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: hee can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc.

Erebokinesis: he can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows in a multitude of effects...
Shadow Generation: He can generate and project shadows and darkness which absorb or nullifies light in the area.
Darkness Solidification: Ability to solidify or give solid-like properties to darkness/shadows with the level of solidity going from loose jelly to metal-like hardness or beyond.
Tentacle Extension: Ability can generate tentacles or tentacle-like appendages (vines, grappling cables, ropes, etc.) from themselves, others or any other surface.
Animate Shadow: Ability to animate shadows. ( As the rule of anything happening to the real body happens to the shadow, and vice versa this means anything that happens to the shadow will be reflected in the true body.)
Darkness Blast: Ability to release shadows blasts from his hands over a specific target area causing damage. 
Erebogeous: Ability to teleport via shadows/darkness, merging into shadows/darkness and appearing anywhere else from the same element.
Darkness Transmutation: Ability to transform matter and objects, including living beings, into shadows.

Weaknesses: Solar Urticaria: also known as sun allergy, is a rare allergy to sunlight that causes hives to form on skin that’s exposed to the sun. The itchy, reddish spots or welts usually appear within minutes of sun exposure. They can last for a short time or up to hours.   The main symptoms of sun allergy are reddish patches on your skin that itch, sting, and burn. If the hives cover a lot of your skin, you may have other common allergy symptoms, such as:
    • low blood pressure
    • headache
    • nausea
    • difficulty breathing
The rash may be more likely to affect the areas of your skin that usually aren’t exposed to sunlight. You may not experience the rash on your hands or face, which are frequently exposed to sunlight. If you’re very sensitive to the sun, hives may also break out on areas of your skin that are covered with thin clothing.
The appearance of the rash can vary depending on individual sensitivity. Sometimes the hives can blister or become crusty. The rash doesn’t leave scars when it clears up.

RIGHT! I'm home and on my laptop, so I'll repost what I said earlier and make an addition:


The only thing I really object to there is the vagueness of his power. You use phrases like "etc" and "a variety" a lot, so would you mind defining exactly what his limits are? Like, how far can he teleport? Can he always create shadows, or is it harder in areas of bright light? If somebody somehow brings sunlight or its equivalent into the area, are his powers diminished? What about areas of dim or no light? Does he effectively have unlimited power there? You also briefly mention a "dimension of darkness" that is kind of just thrown in there without any definition. Where is this dimension? What kind of creatures live there? When you say he can control these creatures what does that actually mean?

It's Marvel, so the power scale is a little higher than most games, but I still need specified limits on what he can and can't do. So would you mind tightening up the language to be more specific with his capabilities, please? Oh, also, that whole "What happens to the shadow happens to the body" thing? I want that gone, please. It's way too open to Godmodding abuse. I can't really see a time when that wouldn't effectively be taking control away from another player, so that is probably best left on the cutting room floor

The other question I have is...well, are there any ways to avoid or resist his ability? Right now it seems to me that some of the things he can do with these powers can kind of take you out of the fight entirely without even trying. EG, you're fighting in a dark place, and he just makes the shadows around you solid. Boom, you can't move, tough luck. Sucks to be you. And that isn't very fun to play opposite, y'know?
So my question is, can people avoid or resist his abilities if they're fast or strong enough? To use a D&D term, do they get a "Saving Throw?" What can people do to avoid the "Fuck You I Win" moment? xD

Origin and Background: Heh, so you want to know about ol’ Raze huh? I suppose I have the time to educate you… So when a man and woman love each other very much, they end up getting together and having a child that they raise together and love…

Now if you believe that then I have beach front property in Nevada to sell you. Anyways my name is Raze Darkholme and I came from the loins of Logan and my worthless mother Raven Darkholme. They had met back in the day in front of a firing squad, and then she had convinced him to join her gang for a bank heist in Kansas City… Why is this important you ask? Well, the night before the robbery good ol Raven decided to take a ride of Logan’s baloney pony and I became the result of the night. Of course afterwards my mother tipped off the cops and turned on her gang before running off with the money. She also kicked dear ol’ dad off a moving train for good measure.

Nine months later I popped out in the town of Rock Bluff in Nebraska. Wait what’s that? You can’t find it on the map? That would be because it’s now a ghost town… It died out in the 1940’s such a shame, because it was something of a town that I actually cared for. My darling mother had no time for me and like so many other of her children dumped me off onto somebody else… Luckily the family that adopted me was a truly good family and didn’t even care when my skin turned blue when I hit the age of 14. Psst… Oh yeah wanna know a fun fact? Rock Bluff was also the home of Perry Ivan Graves… We all called him Ivia and he was the welterweight champion of the world at one point. He taught me how to box and I still keep my skills up as T.J. Combo, and yes they totally used me for that Killer Instinct video game. I made bank off of that!

Anyways, where was I? Oh, yes turning blue! Like I said before I turned blue when I hit 14 and when that happened I got pulled from school right quick. While my family at the time didn’t care, not everyone was so kind. Let’s just say fighting became a new past time and one of the reasons that I was trained by Ivia. Honestly the training was great, but what happened next? Well, let’s just say it drove me from home to find out just who the  hell my parents really were…

One day the bully of the town one Jimmy Reigns, who was a pretty good boxer in his own right decided to take on his favorite punching bag. Yup, you guessed it! It was me! Only this day things went quite a bit differently and I lost it after Jimmy went and forced himself on my foster sister. The next thing I remembered was Jimmy cut to ribbons while I was on my knees with six, foot long claws extending from between the knuckles of my hands. This was the thing that finally turned my family against me and forced me to run. In that desperate need to run I discovered one of my other gifts in being able to shift into different forms.

Back then attempting to find your real parents was a huge pain in the ass, because we didn’t have things like the internet back then and I couldn’t go to the Pinkerton’s… Luckily, I met a woman that set me on the path I needed to go on. Her name was Remus and she filled me in on my true parents and set me on my path. She also revealed to me that her twin brother was using my father and that I would need to grow strong. So over the years I followed in my father’s footsteps moving from country to country learning to fight and learning about him. While Remus and I had a fling or two we eventually broke apart as I learned more about my father. I met many of my brothers and sisters that were abandoned just like I was and I grew to despise my father.

So, my attention turned to my mother hoping that it would be different, which of course it wasn’t. If anything Raven was worse then Logan… I mean she abandoned my half brother Kurt to save herself from a mob. Who knows how many others of my brothers and sister got left behind? The only time she wasn’t popping out kids was when she was slamming tacos with the one that could see the future. Even then her attention was all on Anna fucking Marie as she was important to the future or some shit… I decided then that it was time for me to make my own way in the world by making my family pay…

You see I am realllly patient when I want to be and so I kept tracking both my worthless fucking parents over the years while I came up with plans. I accumulated money and learned to fight as I also focused on my own powers. That made me a damn good assassin, I mean who is going to suspect that 99 year old woman is going to put 3 claws through your heart?

Eventually I made my move on my mother… Honestly, I think she was surprised that a past sin would come back to bite her so hard. I killed her and decided to take her place… Or so I thought… It turned out later on that she survived because my family is really hard to kill. Well except for the ones my half brother Daken called the Mongrels. They were my father’s children, but all regular humans and he fucking killed them all…  Anyways I raided the tech my mother had gathered over the years to prepare for the next part of my plan when a surprise found me…

His name was Charles Xavier the second and was the product of a fling between Xavier and Raven while she was impersonating Moira. He was also looking for revenge, but found me instead. He also hated the X-Men for what he thought was rejecting his father’s ideals. He formed a new Brotherhood and I joined to get even with our parents. We captured the X-Man Kitty Pryde and ol’ Charlie implanted her memories into me, before I took some of my mother’s ol’ tech and took Kitty’s place in the X-Men. I worked with the team for months and my dumbass of a dad couldn’t even tell it was me right until the time I stabbed his ass in the back. Sadly in the end we had to take off and retreat, but my old man and I would have some pretty spectacular battles afterwards… We are still fighting, but unlike my parents I actually do care about my brothers and sisters and send them money every month from a mysterious benefactor…

Powers/Skills/Gadgets:

Metamorph: Like his mother Raze is a natural shapeshifter and so can psionically alter his form at will. Raze can alter himself to look exactly like any humanoid of any sex or race at will. His control is so good that he can also shift his vocal patterns, retina’s and fingerprints into exact replicas of those he is imitating.

Unlike his mother, Raze’s shifting is so powerful that he can also change his very scent, grow tentacles and wings, and shift the insides of his body around to avoid weapons. His shifting powers are so good that he can even fool his own father as he had replaced Kitty Pryde for months without Logan even finding out a thing. Also unlike his mother Raze is fertile in any form he shifts into, it doesn’t matter if he’s male or female at the time.

Metamorphic Adaptation: Raze can adapt his body depending on the situation at the time. He can shift his body to mimic his surroundings and even take on the appearance and textures of metals. He is actually always naked as his body can shift into different articles of clothing and even mimic the feel of them.

Retractable Bone Claws: Like his father Raze’s skeleton includes six, foot long slightly curved bone claws that are housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms. Raze can unleash these claws at will and they extend from in between the knuckles in each hand. These bone claws are razor sharp and in conjunction with Raze’s strength the claws can rip through most flesh and conventional materials. They are also tougher and stronger then regular bone. Also like his father Raze can extend any number of the claws at once, but he can’t bend his wrists with the claws extended.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Being the son of Raven and Logan have boosted Raze’s healing abilities to where he can regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue and organs at a rate that exceeds normal humans. This healing factor allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed bodily tissues far greater and faster than a normal human, often within a matter of minutes. Aside from the tissue regenerative qualities of his healing factor, Raze is immune to the effects of most drugs and toxins, as well as to all known diseases and infections. As with his parents healing abilities, Raze’s grants him an extended lifespan by causing him to age much slower than a normal human.

Superhuman Senses: Like his father, Raze’s senses are highly developed and can function in the dark as if it were total daylight. His hearing, sight, smell taste and touch are capable of much more then normal human’s and like his mother Raze is able to use his metamorphic powers to increase them even more.

Superhuman Strength: He is able to lift or press a minimum of one ton normally and due to his mother’s powers he is able to increase them even further.

Superhuman Speed: Raze is able to move at low level superhuman speeds. While most believe that his regular speeds are faster then most people, it’s actually his combat speed that are more enhanced then anything else. He can attack faster then eyes are able to follow and can even keep up with Wolverine in combat. Raze can blitz most people before they can even pull the trigger.

Superhuman Stamina: With his powers Raze has an over abundance of stamina and is mostly immune to the physical toxins cause by exertion and can operate at peak efficiency for most of a week without tiring.

Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Raze has reflexes and agility that are enhanced beyond the capabilities of normal humans. When used with his senses he can react faster then most, being able to even dodge Cyclops’ optic blasts simply by the feel of the air.

Superhuman Durability: The combination of his parents power affords Raze superhuman durability

Telepathic Immunity: The combination of his powers makes it impossible for telepaths to look inside his mind without permission.

Master Combatant: Over the years Raze has learned enough to be considered a master combatant. Besides boxing Raze knows numerous martial arts that he has learned over the years. Accomplished Actor: Over the years Raze has become an accomplished actor and can play a wide variety of male and female roles depending on the situation.

Musician: Over the years Raze has also learned to play different types of instruments. Some for keeping busy in his downtime and others for different personalities he has created.

Vanessa: Vanessa doesn’t like people. The only person Vanessa likes is her best friend Cassandra. She’s a firecracker for sure. When she was younger, and throughout her life, she’s been called a ‘freak’. People try to hurt her because they don’t understand her. The only way to be her friend, or to even remotely get a reaction out of her, is to show that you’re not a threat to either her or Cassandra.

Origin and Background: Vanessa is the product of a gene experiment gone wrong. Her mother was six months pregnant when she found out that she had terminal cancer and had only one month to live. Her father was a gene physicist and decided to ‘tamper’ with Vanessa’s foetal genes, creating something which he would come to learn, he had absolutely no control over. On the plus side, it cured his wife of the cancer. During her younger years, and still -to a point- to this day, Cassandra Davis was the only one who could keep Vanessa calm when the other children were picking on her. Several times before that, Vanessa had lost control and Felis had taken over, almost killing several of her bullies in the process. As they got older, Cassandra and Vanessa became inseparable, with Cassandra often times being Vanessa’s anchor, keeping her human even when she’s angry.

Powers/Skills/Gadgets: Giant Anthropomorphic Barbary Lion. Felis is very protective of Cassandra, Vanessa and anyone who is patient enough and willing to be called their friend. As such, if anyone threatens any of them, Felis will make Vanessa’s skin crawl, until the latter either gets out of the situation with those close to her, or allows the shift.
How Does She Shift?: Depending on the circumstance, it can be instantaneous, or a little slower than instantaneous.
Triggers: Friends or family in peril, anger.
Abilities: She can certainly talk in this form, she also has Hulk-like strength. She can either run bipedal or quadrupedal, the latter giving her animal-like speed.
How Long?: Felis usually stays out until Vanessa has calmed down, unless Vanessa initiated the change, then Vanessa is in control of how long she stays out.
How to Calm: Cassandra or Hulk.

Vanessa: Learned - She went to school y’know. She might have been pulled out and then home taught, but y’know.
Felis: Gifted (She’s able to hold a conversation)

Vanessa: Normal human speed.

Vanessa: Regenerative: Thanks to Felis, Vanessa can recover from things that might ordinarily kill a normal human being. There are limits though, if the wound is too deep, or pierces something important (like her heart or brain), recovery isn’t possible.
Felis: Regenerative/Mildly Bulletproof: Thanks to the ‘experiments’ Vanessa’s father did, Felis can heal herself from diseases and wounds that would usually kill a human. The only exception is the same as stated above and silver bullets. Normal bullets bounce off of her, but Silver Bullets pierce her skin and these wounds take longer to heal.
Fighting Ability:
Vanessa: Some training. Vanessa can fight to save her life, but other than that, she’s not a very experienced fighter. In fact, she prefers to stay away from conflict.
Felis: Experienced Fighter: Felis has instinctual fighting abilities, much the same as a normal sized large feline has.

Cassandra: As the only person who can calm her down, Cassandra is one of her biggest weaknesses.
Hulk: Hulk is her mate. Though he may be older than her, Felis recognised him as a strong male who can still produce strong offspring. In his presence, unless Vanessa is in control, Felis goes all docile like a house cat.
Silver Bullets: Normal bullets bounce off of her, silver bullets however pierce her skin.

Limitations: Vanessa oftentimes wakes up nude after an involuntary shift, the entire experience also leaves her tired and sore.

Ok, that is a LOT of extra family and half siblings. I'd need you to cut it down a little, since this is a new AU where the current kids of the Marvel characters aren't necessarily Canon, and that is a lot of half-siblings where you're kind of forcing people who want their other parents as parentage. So can you limit it to MAYBE one or two and specify who their parents are, please?

Regenerative Healing Factor: Being the son of Raven and Logan have boosted Raze’s healing abilities to where he can regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue and organs at a rate that exceeds normal humans. This healing factor allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed bodily tissues far greater and faster than a normal human, often within a matter of minutes. Aside from the tissue regenerative qualities of his healing factor, Raze is immune to the effects of most drugs and toxins, as well as to all known diseases and infections. As with his parents healing abilities, Raze’s grants him an extended lifespan by causing him to age much slower than a normal human.

Healing factors are always a bit eeeeeh for me. I allow them, but only if I understand exactly what they're capable of. So what I would like to know is how quickly it takes him to regenerate from specific serious wounds? What wound is too serious for him to regenerate from? How do you hurt him in a way that he doesn't just shrug off? What happens if you cut off a limb? Is there any way to kill him, or is he functionally immortal?

Superhuman Senses: ...and like his mother Raze is able to use his metamorphic powers to increase them even more.

How does that work? My understanding was that Mystique's ability was shapeshifting, not boosting her senses, right? Or am I mistaken there? Either way, how much can he increase his senses? Is there a hard upper limit on that, or can he increase it infinitely?

Superhuman Strength: He is able to lift or press a minimum of one ton normally and due to his mother’s powers he is able to increase them even further.

Superhuman Speed: Raze is able to move at low level superhuman speeds. While most believe that his regular speeds are faster then most people, it’s actually his combat speed that are more enhanced then anything else. He can attack faster then eyes are able to follow and can even keep up with Wolverine in combat. Raze can blitz most people before they can even pull the trigger.

You're starting to just add more and more and more and more powers here. xD Can you define how fast he is? What are the upper limits of his speed?

Superhuman Durability: The combination of his parents power affords Raze superhuman durability

Well, this is a bit more complicated. Mystique has enhanced durability, but Wolverine's enhanced durability comes from his healing factor and his artificially grafted adamantium skeleton, which clearly Raze didn't get. So really, his durability would only come from his mother. Can you specify a limit to this durability? What is he immune to? What hurts him? I mean, superhuman durability and Wolverine's healing factor is a potent combination, so I want you to put a hard limit on that so we know what he can endure right off the bat.

Telepathic Immunity: The combination of his powers makes it impossible for telepaths to look inside his mind without permission.

I'm gonna have to say no to that. I don't like letting people have blanket immunity to a specific power. I don't mind him having resistance, making it harder than average for a telepath to attack him, but given the nature of the REST of his powers? He needs a vulnerability somewhere. So no immunity to telepathy, please.

I'm starting to get a little hesitant around here. Not only is he super strong, super fast, super durable, has a healing factor, resistance to telepathy, he can shapeshift and grow appendages like wings and armour and shit, he's ALSO a master combatant (to the point where he can beat Wolverine in combat) and a marksman and a hacker? I want you to pick a theme and stick with it. He can't be good at everything. He has to have a gap in his skillset somewhere, please.

Conclusion:

Ok, so my first impression is that you've basically combined Wolverine's and Mystique's power sets. This isn't a bad way to start off a character concept, but it does result in a power list that is a little excessive. There aren't many compromises here, and I think you need to tighten up the language. Also, it feels like you're trying to pick up everything so he can do everything on his own and nobody can beat him and he's just so awesome you guys. So I want you to take another look at it and think about which details might be - when added together - a little too much. I also want you to seriously consider some limits that will make him fun for you to play...but also fun to play against. If you do happen to get into a scrap, just no selling everything is hardly fun for everybody involved, yeah? So when you get to weaknesses, I want you to seriously consider where his gaps are, what his vulnerabilities are and what people might be able to do to stop him. Even Superman has got an Achilles Heel, after all!

Second, and this is the big one, Vixen already has a child of Logan in the works. So before you do anything, I want you to PM Vixen and make sure that she's ok with having Raze as a half-brother. Work something out between you, and if you need a mediator consider whether you can actually work together to have siblings PM me and I'll help out.

Note: I know that Raze is an existing character, but he's from an alternate Earth and his powers have never really been strongly defined.

OK, so, I'm on my phone so I can't go into super detail, but I have a couple of questions.

The first is what do you mean by "Hulk like strength?" I want to keep the powerscale relatively modest (Our current strongest character isn't even a Class 100!) and the Hulk has been shown to be capable of breaking apart planets before! And that level of strength would be a hard no. so would you mind putting a number on it, please?
Also, is she only strong? Is she also durable, or does she have a healing factor, or is it like Jessica Jones where she's a glass cannon that's super strong but can still be hurt pretty easily?

Also, go back to the part about The Hulk being her mate?! would you care to expand on that a little? How did that happen? What does that mean?

As for how Hulk became her mate. Well, they happened to meet once, when Bruce has been passing through the village she used to call home. Something triggered him and Hulk emerged. Felis emerged to try and protect her village, but instead ended up finding her mate. Hulk obviously didn’t understand the sudden docility, but when they managed to calm down, Vanessa explained it to Bruce, and after some hesitation on his part, and explaining and proving that she was serious in Vanessa’s part, they entered a relationship. 

However, this also means that Felis will protect her’s and Vanessa’s mates with her life.

I would prefer him to still be available as a "parent" to a player who might want a Banner kid, and that might throw a wrench in your character being his Mate. I'll have a think about it and let you know if I change my mind and decide that I'm just being silly or arbitrary xD And by "think about it," I mean "I'll ask my unofficial 2iC whether I'm being an idiot." xD

Either way, if you add the extra bits and pieces into your sheet, I see no reason why I can't approve it, possible minor alterations to her relationship with Banner aside! ^)^ If everything we've added and discussed is ok with you, I have no issues approving you. Are there any last minute changes you want to make?
