Ditto. I am fine with this. My question now is how much Kaine knows.

What does he know about his Father's race to begin with? I don't think there would be enough information on the Great Unknown for Kaine to definitively know they are biologically related (that's a realization we are saving for in game because holy fuck), but he could suspect.

Also, just FYI, The Harvest is going to hit Kaine hard, really fucking hard, if it's technically his "bio family" that's perpetrating it. He's either going to go full hero or something sadder.

I just need to finalize the curriculum, which depends on what other supervisor's want to teach.
I have Marley, Eric and Kaine's courses, but Tristyn and Dani still need to tell me what they want to teach.

Also, what are we doing about food? Is that a problem I ignore, or would people like to go on grocery outings? LOL

Food situation, I would prefer it being acknowledged and that could be a plotline of us going out to get food or protect our food source from bandits.  Although I don't think it needs to be something we are constantly worried about.

I think...if the entire race is supposed to be bad, then his father would be ashamed, and while he wouldn't hide that he was an alien, he wouldn't go into great detail as he'd want to keep him away from that part of his life.  If it's just the root cause of the eclipse, and not the entire race, then he'd probably give him basic info, but again completely cross over anything involving eclipse guy to spare his son knowing the potential evil his people can inflict.

And yeah if he knows it's people he could technically be related to, or at least he should have a connection with, he's gonna feel bad when he like...rips them apart or explodes their ships with them inside.

• Telekinesis - The ability to manipulate physical matter with his mind.
• Telepathy - The ability to read thoughts and / or project messages mentally.   This abilityis currently dormant and he doesn't understand why.

Personality:

• Stoic - He is often deemed as quiet or withdrawn.  However, due to the incident that disfigured his frame he is now just mainly shy.   So he puts up an emotionless front to convey a sense of fear he might be holding
• Quick Thinker - Tristyn always has a calculated plan of execution. He never really attacks without some idea running throughhai thoughts.
  At times it may come off like he jumps in head first, which will do without hesitationfor friends. Yet each move is calm and collected.
• Book Smart - One wouldn't think it from his history as a bad kid.
  However, Tristyn is very well educated.  Growing up in his grandparents bookstore he found a love for books, and more often than not he can be found reading alone.
• Dutyful - He constantly replays the promise he made to his grandmother to "be best version of hinself."  So he subtly feels obligated to protect and help those around him. Thus the reason he entered the eclipse.
• Mechanically Inclined - Growing up not only his grandmother's bookstore, he both learned and worked at his grandfathers motorcycle shop.  Obtaining knowledge as he grew brought his lover for motorcycle to a new level.

Backstory: Tristyn grew up living with his grandparents. (Of which he may never find out aren't his real grandparents, but just an old couple who took him in when they found him abandoned as a baby).  Pap owned a motorcycle shop on the edge of town while Memaw own and ran the local bookstore/cafe. Tris would spend countless hours at either place learning what he could, how he could.

Due to not being from a traditional family he was often picked on.  And in one particular fight he sent a kid flying with his thoughts. Expelled from multiple schools, he found himself often on the wrong side of the law. When he turned 21, an all night drunken binge ended up with him doing 18 months hard time.  Finally he was released on good behavior and to visit his grandmother who was passing away. 

With her final words being "Tristyn, be the best version of yourself, I know you have potential to be everything and more..." The young man promised with tear filled eyes. One last drinking binge ended up with Himalayan waking up in an alley way with a unique tattoo across his left Pectoral reading, 00-00-07. Thinking it was a blacked out tattoo he knew he had to change. This is the point he turned himself around and even decided to fight in the eclipse events.

Waking up from the events however was different, he had forgotten a majority of what happened and came to find himself disfigured with burns across his left bicep, up the left side of his neck, and his left pectoral.  He had seemed to have taken an attack of sorts.

Now he spends his days mostly in solitude away from others judgement, even though there is little from others. Often working on his Indian motorcycle or reading when he isnt training himself or teaching a class to the others.

After the Eclipse: Tristyn was one of the few to volunteer to safe the planet.  He wasn't in it for the glory, he just had a promise to keep to his mother after he tried something stupid when he was young. He fought valiantly from what little he could remember.  However, he doesnt remember much.  His last images in his head were a dark shadow engulfing him and then waking up with his body burnt and charred across hia left torso, left arm, and a bit up the left side of his neck.  He often keeps it hidden as it reminds him of the horrific event.

Sorry for the double post. But as for teaching he is teaching a motorcycle riding and mechanics course in the mornings.  And evenings he teaches a training course on focusing, like how to keep cool in battle. How not to over exhort yourself, how to unlock hidden inner will power.

I figure whoevers footing the bill would have food brought in weekly and meals catered and such. Or have a live in chef who is also a super with a power centered around cooking or something.
