Where is the Cathedral located?

I've decided to keep it vague. Likely somewhere in North America, but it could be anywhere.

Currently, the Earth appears much like Arizona (dry, hot, no snow in January), due to the events of the Eclipse. ;)

Wow, I missed a lot  :P

These new characters and application look good. Sorry i have not been around to talk interactions and history. Looking at Dani though i can see the twins wanting to keep an eye on her should they ever learn about her link to the Roman Mob(already have some idea for some of the Supers they would employ actually, Also the Mob Bosses name Victor Roman)

Jinx (Approved)
Gylda Gabriela Alejandra Dias

Nicknames: GeGe, Jinx
Age: 22
Build: 5 ft 6 in / 121 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue/Grey
Origin: Earth
Gender Identity: Cis Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Face Claim: Michele “Mia” Alves

Role: Student
Designation: Surge
Superpowers:

  • Probability Vision – Jinx doesn’t just see probabilities as a cascading torrent of numbers.  She sees probabilities as colors. This might be her brain’s coping mechanism when the stream of input becomes too much for her, she doesn’t really know, but darker colors equal lower probabilities and brighter more vibrant ones are higher.  When in chaotic places with large numbers of probabilities Jinx can get overwhelmed.  This can range from simple headaches to full blown seizures depending on the stimuli.  Jinx can tone down the volume of input she sees by focusing on one calculation or task or by being distracted by something she enjoys or requires her full attention, but it isn’t always easy.

  • Probability Manipulation – GeGe isn’t really sure when her power manifested.  For all she knows she has been subconsciously tweaking probability her whole life.  It wasn’t until she hit puberty that she realized she could manifest her will to push probabilities to make the outcomes more or less likely.  Smaller manipulations have always been much easier to effect then larger ones.  Causing the cheerleading squad to drop that bitch Tonya during halftime of the homecoming game was easy.  Hitting the lottery would be a hell of a lot harder.  Hitting a few hundred bucks on a scratcher on the other hand is much more doable.

Personality:

  • Sultry – GeGe has a look that can make a girl weak in the knees.  She has the timeless quality that could have been found in smoke-filled jazz clubs and old movies.  At her most cynical GeGe knows it is easier to manipulate people if they find you attractive, but it goes deeper than that.  She is a sensual person that oozes sexuality and is not afraid to express it.

  • Liberal – GeGe is very open and accepting of others for who they are.  She is a firm believer in allowing others to be themselves and enjoying that uniqueness as long as it isn’t causing others harm.  She could care less if you are gay or straight, human or alien, super or mundane.  You could be a raging tentacle monster for all she cares.  As long as you aren’t eating innocents and shitting out supernovas she is willing to accept you for you.

  • Whimsical – GeGe is inundated with the practical and logical.  Everything in her life can be boiled down to a percentage which makes her incredibly bored often.  To counter this she can be downright spontaneous and a little goofy.  Her wardrobe is eclectic as are her interests which could be described as mercurial.  She loves trying new things as are they are harder to manipulate.  Her whimsy can appear as manic to some as she bounces for indolent boredom and ennui to giddy jubilance when surprised or presented with something to distract her.

  • Calculating – GeGe’s life is numbers.  Everything is a percentage of success and failure.  It can pattern her life to much as she isn’t always willing to chance something that has a low percentage of success and becoming bored with things that are too easy.  She starts to base everything off of cold hard numbers when sometimes the experience is more important.

  • Fatalistic - When she slips into one of her darker moods the numbers take over her life and she can come off as cold and logical to a fault. Everything seems preordained and not worth trying to fight against.  This is also when her powers are at their best and calculations are easier to manipulate, even the larger differentials

Backstory:
What GeGe Knows:
GeGe’s life seemed pretty normal.  Both of her parents were scientists, working for a private bio-medical firm and she had two sisters, Adeline and Maria. Her family had a very nice home in the suburbs of Miami and she didn’t want for much.  At an early age it was obvious that GeGe was special. She was far ahead of her classmates in mathematics and was put in an accelerated program at school until she surpassed them and started being home schooled by her mom.  Her sisters showed no signs of the same gift and were by all means perfectly normal children which sometimes strained their relationship as they perceived GeGe as getting special treatment.  Other than some sibling jealousy her life was pretty good.

When she hit puberty it became apparent that GeGe’s gifts were something beyond simply being gifted in math.  She began to effect the world around her by sheer force of will.  Most of these instances were small tweaks in probabilities to make her or her friends lives easier.  Sometimes though teenage angst and pettiness caused her to lash out and perceived enemies and cause a bit of chaos.  It was about that time when her parents’ marriage grew rocky.  They always seemed to be arguing.  The more GeGe tested her abilities the worse her side effects grew.  First it was headaches, then migraines and finally she had her first seizure.

GeGe mother took her to a specialist at the company for help and her father flipped out.  This was during her Junior year in high school.  That night while her parents yelled at each other downstairs and GeGe and her sisters did their best to remain unnoticed upstairs her world was turned upside down.  A group of men assaulted GeGe’s home killing both of her parents.  GeGe tried to save her sisters, but in the chaos they were killed and GeGe was able to escape do to her burgeoning powers.

GeGe lived on run for a few years, buying winning scratchers and cashing them in when she needed some money for a hotel or food or clothes.  Always moving and often hounded by whatever mysterious organization had killed her family.  It was during this time she heard about the Cathedral and made her way there.  For the last two years the Cathedral has been her home.  GeGe has a habit of demonstrating her abilities with little pranks on others and it has earned her the nickname Jinx.

What GeGe doesn’t know:

GeGe’s parents worked for a shadowy organization run by a powerful super with delusions of grandeur.  The face of the company was tasked with tracking the genetics of existing super heroes and learning how they differed from humanity.  The research and development department however was tasked with creating more supers under its control.  GeGe’s parents and most of the rank and file employees did not know the extent of what they were doing and most believed the companies motives were altruistic.  GeGe’s father thought he was close to a breakthrough in developing a drug to increase the productivity in certain areas of the brain from super human DNA that could help in underdeveloped children.  The program was shuttered before completion (it worked and the company took the results for its own nefarious purposes).  Unbeknown to the company and GeGe’s mother her father injected her and one of her sisters with the serum as a human trial.  Her other sister was the control.

When GeGe started to develop powers beyond what would be considered a normally gifted child (her sister did not) her mother became suspicious and confronted her father.  When GeGe started having side effects from her abilities and ended up with a seizure her mother took GeGe into the company to have her looked at by a colleague she thought was a friend without telling GeGe’s father.  The colleague was part of the inner circle and reported the results of her father’s elicit experiment and its success to “The Board” who sent a team to eliminate GeGe’s parents and capture all of the girls for further testing.  While GeGe’s parents were killed her sisters were not.  She thought the still bodies were dead but in actuality her sisters had been tranquilized.
Participant in the Eclipse: No
After the Eclipse: Eclipse was one of the lower points in GeGe’s life.  The probabilities were never great for success overall and even worse for individuals looking to fight the good fight.  The bleakness of it all quickly sent GeGe into a spiraling depression when she would often sit in her room and crunch numbers all day and dream about them all night.  Her best friend Amanda tried to get her to fight go fight Eclipse together but GeGe didn’t see any hope in doing so she was so far into the fatalistic numbers and begged her friend not to go.  Amanda ignored GeGe and went despite her best efforts and all of the data that said it was a bad idea.  Eclipse lost, but Amanda died in the fighting.  GeGe is still mourning the loss of her friend and hates herself for not going with Amanda.  If she had maybe, just maybe, Amanda would still be alive.

Character Ons: Romance, oral, anal, light touches and slow kisses, hair pulling, love bites, slow sexy teases, playful sex, vigorous sex, multiple partners with the right people, surprises, heartfelt gifts.
Character Offs: Violence, Gore, Vore, S&M, D/s (maybe a little playful kind)

Desired Plots & Connections:

  • Find out her actual backstory

  • Her sisters now work for the company, one is a super and the other a handler/analyst.  Having them as a nemesis could be a lot of fun.

  • Girlfriend(s) – I would like for GeGe to find a cute girl to fall in love with.  I am open to a poly relationship to if there are two lovely ladies that want to write all of the love and drama that can be produced by one.  (I am not interested in a rivalry for affections though)

GeGe is approved. Feel free to post her in the Approved Characters thread when you have a chance.

Also, another thought, is it foreseeable that the shadowy organization could be producing serums that grant super powers but also cure them? That's always a fun plot line to run later.

I don’t see why they couldn’t.  It would be eliminating the competition.

And even though my girl is gay it doesn’t mean I don’t want plot scenes with the guys too!  They all live in the same house so curious as to see how they all get along.

The sexy time scenes will be on a separate thread anyway, so you're fine. Everyone should plot with everyone. Its the point of group games. :P

Yep but I have noticed that sometimes when I play a lesbian woman guys shy away.  Maybe thinking she won’t want scenes with them.

I think it might actually be funny if Sergio at least always hit on her, like a running joke between the two, always trying to "tempt her away"...Does that sound like it would work?

Of course James would be the one smacking him to stop.

Depends on how it was done.  She would not lead him on but flirting is fine.  It’s just practice after all.

Gigi looks great Crash. :)

And as for Gia and boys, she is looking for a new family, having some older brothers she needs to keep out of trouble would be fun. :)

Just remembered this scene from Ultraviolet, her no touch fight.  This is what fighting Gia is going to be like after she receives some training! :D

And if any remembers this, the movie Next with Nicholas Cage:

I think some of the founders did, but Jinx is not a very good fighter.  Her battles are usually making inexplicably bad things happen to her opponents while she tries to get away. 😄

Nope, both Tristyn and Kaine did. And likely more students, too.

The Approved Character's page is updated.
I'm still looking for ~8 more characters. Does anyone else think they will double up at any point? I might. LOL.

Nah, Tistyn went in head strong and came back burnt for it.

Kaine participated as well. Maybe he felt guilty aliens were attacking and he's a hybrid. Maybe even the same race to the cause of the eclipse.
