Oh, quick question Wired Rabbit, are there going to be skills?

In writing, a flaw is not the interesting part of a character.  What is interesting is how a person overcomes a flaw.  I want to read how a person overcomes a flaw, not how the flaw overcomes the person.

My story contribution: FemFour: superheroine, Futa, NC-H

Interesting characters Isengard.  :)

Thank you, I had a Number of Characters I could bring into this rp, but I've been dying to ply my twins for awhile.  If we need NPC heros/Villians/or anti-heroes i have a few more ideas i can share. ^^

Sergio and James are approved. Please post them in the Approved Characters thread when you have a chance.

Excited to see them cause some havoc in the house. ;)

I can also add the Roman mob as another entity in the game, if you would like. ;D
I'm down for a mob attacking the school at some point in the future. Or, a bunch of rebel students going after the mob.
You'd have full creative control of the mob, of course.

Thank you, Ill post them there now. Do you want them out of the spoilers?

And with the Mob that could be fun, might have to bring in another Super or two as enforcers. Mobs adapt to changing times to survive, though they could be looked down upon since they emply supers. Kinda like the Chisaki gang from My Hero Acadamia

Define what you mean by skills. :)
If you mean skills training, then yes.

Yes, outside of the spoilers please! :D

I'll add the mob to the list of entities then. It would also make sense that they employ supers, it's that kind of dark and grim game.

Skills as in Martial arts, computer programming, History, card tricks, etc. :)

Card tricks I'm not sure yet, but the other three yes.
You'll have Jupiter for combat training and Mars for History for sure. :P

Ahh, so we will be learning skills at the Cathedral and we won't be starting with any special skills. :)

Yep, although if you want to start with a background or ability in something, feel free!
But I suspect that the events of the Eclipse would have halted any traditional forms of study. ;)

All the skills and courses you will take while at the Cathedral are geared towards being a super. For example, the History course that Marley teaches is about the history of supers and what we know so far.

Kewl!  I am going to give Gia gymnastics and cheerleading. :)

And a group that could be hunting Gia because of her Chronovision:  Knives of Artemis.  They are a group of female assassins that follow the greek god Artemis.  They tried to recruit Gia, but when she looked into what her future would be like if she went with them, she didn't want that and escaped them.  They haven't given up on bringing her into their fold.

Apologies on the delay. I'll get a character sheet up asap. Real life has been testing me the past few days.

Amy: Shall I run and get the manual?
The Doctor: I threw it in a supernova.
Amy: You threw the manual in a supernova? Why?
The Doctor: Because I disagreed with it! Now stop talking to me when I'm cross!”

I had kind of sworn off hero games but I have some girls I really want to play...

"Sorry, you must survive at least 3 games with me before we can chat like this."

I'm a pretty low maintenance GM. The main things I care about are:
1) Your characters must INTERACT with other characters (e.g. your character cannot have a power than renders them incapable of communication.)
2) DO NOT piss off other players (e.g. be respectful, even if your character is being a shit head... Marley can be a shit head, but I'm nice.)

And that's it. If you have ideas, float them to me. ;D

Hot dog.  Yep. Omari Hardwick as face claim please.

All yours.

Update: All Founding Four spots are taken, so you may only choose one of the other three designations for your characters.
I'm still looking for 1-2 more supervisors though (can be any designation, just means you are newer to the Cathedral than the Founders).

So as "founders" is our goal to teach the others or just be there for guidance?

Both!
Marley teaches courses (history and defensive mechanisms, currently) and does counseling, simply because if someone's powers are going haywire it won't kill her. ::)

But if your character wants to be more one than the other, that's fine too.
Depends on their teaching style. Marley is straight edge and does not believe in hand holding whatsoever. Also, she resents tardiness. :P

Keep in mind, they are all former "punk kids" so they aren't necessarily your traditional teachers. They sort of fell into the role out of need, not necessarily want.

Kaine will be teaching Gym, Shop Class(including automotive stuff) and a course for people with super strength/durability to learn their limits and how to not break everything around them.

Hmmm... which just brought up an interesting question for me, what is it like for Gia to be in a class and learning something??  Does she look forward to get all her answers quickly?  Look back to review things she didn't understand?  Is it like an online course where you can rewatch videos as much as you want, go to videos of questions you have, problem areas.

Gia staring off into space for several moments, teacher turns to her, "Do you have any questions."  Gia looks at teacher, "already got them answered, thanks."

Sure! Gym in this instance would be more cardio, weight and obstacle course focused.
We have both combat training and defense mechanisms, so that would work well.

I think I'd call the third one Power Control?
And, given the climate of the Eclipse, all students are currently enrolled in it. Marley would have made this mandatory, even if some students just have to observe.
Cause we don't know what almost caused the Eclipse. It could have been another super, for all we know.

Up to you. Does Gia have that much control over her powers yet? ;)
I feel like she's a quick learner, but using her powers constantly like that might exhaust her.
Classes are Monday - Saturday, from 9-4 PM so... that's a lot of chrono vision.

Also, Marley will not be pleased if she decides to skip classes as a result.
