I'm pretty sure that the NRA filing for bankruptcy is a tactic to avoid the fraud lawsuit they're facing in New York, and facilitating them in a move to Texas instead, where I assume there will be considerably less accountability.

The New York AG says that they'll review the filing, but won't allow the NRA to use the filing or any other tactic to escape accountability from her office.

Trump's handling of White House documents within his administration has been flying in the face of normal record-keeping and archiving routines, and there's been a running "silent war" within his adminstration about shredding some documents vs keeping them or even taping them together again after Trump and his henchmen ordered them to be torn up.

This is why it's an open question if there will ever be a "Donald Trump Presidential Library and Archive" in the traditional sense.
