OK...and if characters end up sexytiming, where would that go?

Pre-met or fresh aquintances: Id vote for previously met, as then we skip all the hazzle that comes from everything. Its so much faster IRL TT but in forums, it tend to get loooongg... and we can always play "flashbacks" if it comes to that.

Well. We would still have to go through the hassle of working out how they met and what their relationships are like, and how they act around each other. Personally speaking, I would vote for "Meet in game." That way the GM can throw the characters into a situation where they have to form a party, and they can develop their relationships in-game. After all, the latter lets us get "In game" much faster. :P

I vote for already formed a party. Yes, needs a bit of work beforehand but a) it lets us begin play earlier, and b) no chance to stop on toes no one knew existed, i mean no chance to provoke a dispute between characters when they are total strangers to one another. but mainly: time. introductions can take forever and can kill a game very quickly
