Speaking of sex threads, should we have a little bit of info on our characters in that regard? (Like Linde being very far on the lesbian side of things and surprisingly submissive in bed) so we all know what we're getting in for?
Also, slight correction. Linde certainly has nothing against Asmodeus, but religiously she's Eiseth all the way. Which draws an amusing parallel with our Calistrian probably-queen given how both of their deities are varying flavours of vengeance based.

Anyway, those threads seem good to me, at least.

Zaer Darkwail

I agree on LizzieV's posted format, it looks pretty good and diverse enough for all needs.

Miroque

I second to LizzieV's comment on the "thread tracker" with links to everything important, and noone else posts there except GM. Would keep everything nice and tight.

wander

Sexual preferences may be a good thing to include. Could also help with sorting who's in each campaign (just to muddy the waters with that even more ^^; )

Roleplay Frog

I think its a good idea to pull apart combat and 'all the other non-sexy stuff' beyond that.. *chuckles*

Quote(just to muddy the waters with that even more ^^; )

Bog group is the one for muddied waters, duh..and should have done that one from the start. :p

TheScarletBlade

So just to clarify so I make the right number of threads:

1. Main Thread(combat and general rp)
2. OOC
3. General Information Tracker- Can keep kingdom maps and the exploration map there?
4. Character Sheet Thread
5. Sex Thread

So 5 threads per party?
“I fight for the men I have held in my arms, dying on foreign soil. I fight for their wives and children, whose names I heard whispered in their last breath. I fight for we few who did come home, only to find our country full of strangers wearing familiar faces. I fight so that all the fighting I've already done hasn't been for nothing, I fight: because I must.”

You should have a sixth thread for side rp. Basically the non-sex rp that isn't main thread related. It lets people who don't want to read it able to avoid it and lets people who want to do non-main rp take their time with it.

TheScarletBlade

Roger that, that seems easy enough. Now to go set up all those threads. :D

Setting threads work easy if give them title and when you start type title again, you get suggested the title. Click it and just edit in new group name for it ;).

Diabolus Lupus

As a note, you might be able to talk one of the mods into giving us a sub firm for the game. Idk what the exact criteria is for it though.

Also before I start creating anything, does anyone wanna change their party name?

LizzieV

It's fine with me.

Edit: Here is an unanswered question as far as I know. What section of the forums are these doing in anyway?
O/O

Zaer Darkwail

The group name for group I am in; The Divine Mandate (because many divine magic users and having strong religious beliefs).

Roleplay Frog

Everyone in favor of renaming Bog-group into Frogs are #1
no?

just me?

..ok...

Frogs are pretty awesome, my mum's favourite animal actually, no joke. I buried her with her favourite Kermit plushy.

Miroque

Team name change for "team tragic past" > "Second change" marking the new begins for all participants or something.

Awww. Frog girl likes you.

Also, if it turns out the outcasts need a frontliner, froggo can kinda fill that too.
Froggo can fill whatevers needed!

I would suggest ether having a thread, or a post in a thread, with a list of XP (where we got it and totaled), money (Income, division, and expenses), loot (items that aren't just 'vender trash'), Quests (With who gave it to us, where, and what we know so far), and Major NPC's (Names, pics if we have them, a short synopsis, etc.)

These are things that are of major personal significance to our characters, but which the players can easily forget in the ebb and flow of RL. Having a place we can go back to for reference can save hours of time trolling through threads, trying to find who took what magic item or who this person that just showed up claiming we know them actually is. :P

Also, I'd suggest we decide now, before the game proper starts. If we start loosing people who just can't keep up with the demands on their time, or aren't have fun, etc. Are we going to try recruiting new people to fill the gaps or combining the smaller groups? There are pros and cons to each method, and at least Kingmaker is a campaign that's easy enough to write people out of and new people into, but it would be good to have an expectation in place so we can just start that directly rather then risking the death of the game entirely while we're debating what to do.

Those things listed would go in the General Information thread, I'd think.

Thats a lot of work to put on the DM for something the players should keep track of themselfs, unless an unusual amount of book-keeping is involved in Kingmaker.

Miroque

The bookkeeping of kingdom itself is an chore. And there is quite a list of npcs, locations, rumors, items, and spy info about other factions.. so yes, there will be way more bookkeeping in Kingmaker than 'normal' campaign where characters (and players) are only responsible of themselves.

My brother played a game of Kingmaker and said they once had more then twenty distinct quests outstanding and a 'legend' for the map over a page long. It's not something the average player can keep up with one their own. Even if one of us is make the primary Record Keeper and the DM just bolds anything they need to copy it could take quite a bit of work. If the DM can just copy and paste things that would make it a lot easier. :P

Huh, ok then, never knew Kingmaker is that complex. Frog calls dibs on the poison/alchemy questlines!
