I think to explain his being in-place as (I'm guessing an Instructor?) it makes sense to have him be king of wakanda but someone else be currently ruling in his stead? If that fits for you. Since someone's got to watch the throne whilst he's doing his hero thing.

While he tends to keep to himself, it is not uncommon for him to step up as a leader or teammate when needed/ necessary. Despite the appearance of his brutish nature, he is extremely knowledgable and has experienced much in his long life which has earned him a wide variety of skills, languages, and contacts. Logan shines under duress in the thick of combat, the man is 100% gut instinct honed to a deadly precision.

Logan has been around for over 100 years. Recent memories have begun to emerge of him serving in the civil war back in the 1800s. His history is highly restricted or simply lost to time. Those he has met along the ways hold pieces and may offer or keep them as they deem fit. One thing is certain, Logan is a survivor and the last person you want to piss off.

The most recent of information about Logan and "Wolverine" dates back to the Weapon X project when he was turned into a living weapon. He has had numerous run-ins with other people but shouldn't take it for granted if they need to jog his memory. He has been working on and off with the Avengers and SHIELD for the last few years but he has a tendency to wander off every now and then. With his new position within the academy, he has been the most stationery he has been in his lifetime.

Superpowers & Equipment

Accelerated healing process - typically referred to as mutant healing factor, that regenerates damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. In addition to accelerated healing of physical traumas, Logan's healing factor makes him extraordinarily resistant to diseases, drugs, and toxins. However, he can still suffer the immediate effects of such substances in massive quantities; he has been shown to become intoxicated after ingesting significant amounts of alcohol.

Superhuman acute senses - making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than a normal human’s. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. He can use these enhanced senses to track any creature with an impressive degree of success.

Adamantium skeleton

Logan's skeleton includes six retractable one-foot long bone claws, three in each arm, that are housed beneath the skin and muscle of his forearms. He can, at will, release these slightly curved claws through his skin beneath the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but the blood loss is quickly halted by his healing factor. Logan can unsheathe any number of his claws at once, although he must keep his wrists straight at the moment his claws shoot from his forearms into his hands. When unsheathed, the claws are fully within his hands, and thus can still bend his wrists. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure, allowing him to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials on top of reinforcing his body and making him extremely resilient.

As a note about ages in case anyone's curious I realised I didn't mention it. This game's PC's are 18+ only. It's a semi-military organisation they wouldn't take under 18's in.
