Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my 1x1 search thread. I go by Totoro, and I am a gender-averse person who prefers they/them or she/her pronouns. I'm a lover of animals, nature and the outdoors but also a big nerd. I adore playing D&D, painting figures, playing games and I watch a fairly broad mix of shows and movies across all sorts of genres. I would describe myself as a social and chatty writing partner and I value at least some friendliness. I prefer to talk to writing partners via Discord if possible but it's not a must.

In terms of writing, I have a love of world building that will permeate anything and everything I write in. I will usually be eager to take on many aspects of the setting to flesh it out, and to write multiple characters. I'm perfectly happy to have main, focal characters and I promise not to leave you stuck on a carousal of a cast, but I like variety and I like to explore and expand on settings. For some concepts, I will be happy to focus on functioning as a storyteller and building up a world for you to explore, interact with and change.

In general I heavily value story over smut, and I'm perfectly happy to write stories with little or no focus on sex at all. I'm only interested in smut-heavy stories as one-shots. I am almost always open to any LGBTQ+ spin on story concepts I have posted. I am open to a very wide variety of story ideas, settings, themes and when it comes to them, kinks. I need at least three paragraph posts with a good to high standard of spelling and grammar to enjoy a story. I only write in threads on Elliquiy. All of my ideas are open to input and discussion however I may say no if they stray too far from the original desire. The below stories include roles, at the top, with the one I intend to play being underlined meaning I'm seeking writers for the non-underlined roles.

Dragonrider Prince X Peasant Healer

Conqueror. Tamer. Monster. The Prince of the land was called many things by those who met him. He was all that they said, and more. The last remaining dragonrider was a prestigious title, even if one earned it by killing the few others that there had been. Some said the blood of those terrible yet noble beasts ran in his veins. In many ways he was as much a monster as those titanic creatures, in some he was worse, and yet he looked just like a man.

Synopsis

The day that the prince, Tyrax Vaeleris, mounted the dragon Daegar was celebrated throughout the kingdom. They had a new dragonrider, a new spearhead for their conquering armies. By the time he was a grown man he had more than earned his title. Conqueror. Lands burnt before him, armies scattered and rivals to his father's growing empire knelt and bowed their heads. There were few other dragonriders left and through the wars Tyrax and Daegar, together, killed those that stood against them.

Far from the wars, the flames, a woman just the same age as Tyrax grew up in the same city he called home. As a teen, she would see the titanic figure of Daegar soaring through the sky. A symbol of their power, yet a weapon all the same. That dragon was a different thing for the downtrodden. A physical manifestation of the line between the royals and the common folk. After all, what could anyone do or say in the face of a man who commanded a creature like that? Some part of her longed to see things change.

Through her life, she was a caring soul. A kind one, giving and generous and borne to aid others. It was only natural she learn of medicines. During the battles fought there were so many burnt by the power of dragons and she learned to treat dragonflame wounds, tending to those long-lasting injuries of those soldiers who survived a brush with the fire.

Then came the last battle, the last rival. The last dragonrider to face down Tyrax and Daegar. Though hard fought, the prince was victorious but unlike the others he returned scorched, burnt by dragonflame across his torso and in dire need of treatment from an expert on such things. That was when his mother, the queen, found her. The woman who had treated so many wounded by those just like Tyrax. The offer was too high to refuse. She would personally treat the Prince, and in return the royals would reward her family with riches.

Notes

● If not obvious, this story is heavily inspired by the show House of the Dragon. That said, I think for various reasons it is best suited to an original but heavily inspired setting. I'll be happy to flesh this setting out as we write.
● This story is unusual for two reasons. First, that it is a hetero main pairing and second that it is more directly focused on a 1-1 pairing. Despite this, the extremely plot-focused nature assuages any issues I have with the former and I still intend to take on writing various other characters around your character, who I would like to be the focus.
● The Prince is not a good man, at least not at the start. Perhaps he can become one, though. He is arrogant in the extreme, a little vicious, remarkably akin to the powerful, proud and wrathful dragon he is bonded to. He'll often act cruelly, early, but it will wear down.
● I want the romantic angle to be a slow burn. I'm not against there being sex prior to that, including dubious-at-best aspects. I imagine the prince to have a domineering nature in bed, and to struggle more with romance than sex.
● Beyond her being a peasant, and her being an expert in healing dragonflame wounds, I aim to be as open as possible regarding her character and nature. Any ideas are very welcome.
● To give an idea, I imagine early scenes including the queen recruiting her, her first meeting the prince and beginning to treat his wounds, her beginning to socialise with him more and seeing sparks of someone charming between the temper and ego, then their time together growing beyond duty to more.
● I would be comfortable moving this story towards a cuter, more romantic ending or else something more tragic and bittersweet.

Vampire X General

Fire and brimstone burn our lands. Steel clashes against demonhide and falters, flesh is torn asunder. Our people are breaking. We will lose this war. It's time we consider our last resort. Him. The one who brought all this about, all those years ago. Even if their wretched blood runs in his veins the vampire is still born of our people. Our lands must stand if he is to rule them as he dreamed. Please. He can help us if we wake him.

Synopsis

Many, many years ago a mortal man sought immeasurable power, consorting with demons. His blood was infected in the ritual, creating vampires and bringing darkness to the land. Though his attempted conquest was a bloody one he was ultimately met with failure and imprisonment. Generations have passed and the affliction he brought about has spread, no longer under his command demons spill forth of their own accord and burn the homes of humans.

In a moment of desperation, one of his keepers came to a general of the human forces. A fierce, proud woman he knew her to be willing to bend, even break, rules if it was what was necessary to keep humanity alive. When he explained it, he thought she might slay him on the spot. Eventually, though, he convinced her to have an audience with the beast below the depths. He persuaded her that she could negotiate and find a deal that would see them gaining his knowledge of demons in exchange for a chance to breath and live again.

While heavy-hearted she accepted the offer, travelling to the dark fortress where they had imprisoned the man with demonic blood in is veins and an infamous hunger. It was a chilling place, even for one so bold, but her heart was steeled by the knowledge that she was making the hard choice, risking a lot, for the good of her people. It wasn't easy but the other option was death. Finally she was there, standing before a coffin sealed by ancient runes. It was time to wake him.

Notes

● This is intended to be a very dark story about a troubled relationship and complex power dynamic between two individuals who are both constantly forced to play mind games and test one another. It could develop some romantic tones beneath it, but that's not the focus here.
● At its core this story is about power. She will have him captive, bound in magic runes and starved for centuries. In turn he has the knowledge she needs to save her people while she knows every time she gives him a reward in exchange for his aid the chances of him escaping grow stronger.
● This story must include scenes of blood feeding. I see her offering her own to him, to spare anyone else the pain and because she is sure she can resist his thrall while she fears bringing others into his presence. I imagine him being very isolated, leading to a lot of tense scenes of the pair of them alone.
● In their long time alone, I would like her to take the time to pry into why he did what he did, why he is so hungry for power, what it's like being immortal. I'd like her to be curious about his nature, even if she doesn't ever want to be a thing like him.
● In terms of smut, I imagine it coming about as a product of their extended time together, the intimacy of the feeding, her curiosity about him and his long isolation without touch. I imagine this will also be an extension of their complex power dynamic and would like it to include elements of switching. She should be too proud to simply fall at his feet.
● I am very open about her character but she should be old enough to be a military commander, experienced and highly capable with a great deal of confidence. Despite this, she is still human and she should not be so overly headstrong as to not fear him at all.

Elven Princess & Pixe X Half-Fae Woman

She always knew there was more to life. It wasn't just a wish, she held onto that. Every dull day held a little more magic through that certainty. Every now and then she saw a glimpse. A little figured flitting between the flowers. Something just out of sight in the moonlight. A stir in a quiet pond, just below the surface. She knew they were there, and she knew they were friends to her. Yet, as she aged, they never truly made themselves known. It was an oddity, but she forced herself not to ever look harder for fear of driving them away, of scaring them, or perhaps simply of losing herself in an obsession.

Synopsis

Through her life a young woman has seen signs of the fae, another world tied closely to hers. She has always believed there to be something else, something more, and she has been a fantasist in many ways. An avid reader, longing for escapes, and curious. Her nature led her to much time in the outdoors, among wildlife, but she never found any real proof. Just glimpses and glimmers. That was until one day when at the very base of her garden her life was changed forever.

She met a faerie. A real one. Living, breathing magic stood beaming at her, gushing to her, telling her of her heritage and her importance to their world and that she was to accompany her this instant. In a daze, she could do little more than agree. It was a whirlwind as she was brought to a world out of sight, passing through the great hedgerow into a place where what she had once thought of as half-real dreams were oh so tangible to her touch. It was shocking, almost unnerving, and yet it was the best day of her entire life.

Time went on, and matters were explained. She was faeblooded, but half human. The daughter of a now-dead king, and she had been kept watch over until she was old enough for the arranged marriage her father had agreed upon many years ago. She was to wed an elven princess of great importance and impossible beauty. Yet, in the time she had already spent in this world, she had grown closer and closer to the humble pixie that drew her into their land. Now, her newfound duty clashed with her heart. It was made no easier when she found the princess, too, was a kind and beautiful soul. Soon, she would learn that the courts of the fae are just as complex as the tangle in her heart.

Notes

● This story centres around a sapphic love triangle. I could be persuaded to write the pixie and princess as male characters, or nonbinary, but I do not want to write them as a mix of genders. I want to present it as a genuinely complex, emotional decision with no clear right or wrong option.
● Alongside the love triangle, I want the main character to face more complexities. Firstly, acclimating to a new world and culture that will feel distinctly alien to her in many ways. Secondly, the fae court is a place of social games and there may be those that do not like this half-blood being shown such favour. Thirdly, there is scope to introduce darker threats to maintain tensions. Fourthly, the fact she has left her life behind and that she may never be able to return.
● It remains to be seen how long the tension will maintain, but that is the core of the story. Once the half-fae princess has made her decision, I would like to seek to conclude the story. Reaching a fitting conclusion may take some time after that, but ultimately her settling on the person she truly wants to be with is the beginning of the end.
● This is an unusual story for me in that it could include no violence or dark content at all, with the main stakes being an emotional turmoil that I do still want to explore. I'd be sad if this story didn't have her shedding at least some tears at the complexities of her situation.
● I would like for the main character to be a young woman or nonbinary person. I would like them to be curious, a fantasist, and an avid reader and lover of nature. Beyond these traits, they are relatively open. They should be a kind and loving person, though.
● I don't want for this story to simply be solved by polyamory. I love polyamory, however I think it would simply wrap the situation in far too simple and neat a bow. For the sake of this story, the elven princess will certainly be monogamous.
● I will be endeavouring to make both potential romantic interests appealing. This is not a story about the evil elven princess spiriting away a young woman from a soft, darling pixie. They will both have flaws, but they will be on the whole good and loving people. Otherwise, this would be far too simple and predictable.

Werewolf X Human

No beast is so mighty that their jaws can snap up the spectre of age. Even the proudest and strongest of wolves suffers at the hands of time, and he had suffered in the face of so much more than that. Weary. That's what he was. But then he met her on the worst night of her life and she gave him a purpose. She raged and so too did he, and now he could walk that path with her, even if it led to their graves.

Synopsis

On the worst day of your life you live in mundane normality until it comes. That moment. The one that uproots everything, that makes it all different. She had no way to know when she rose that morning that soon she would never see her home again, nor her family. Not after what came crashing into her life, a storm that dashed it all onto rocks.

Living in the suburbs of a city in America, life had been as good as normal until that night. The night when she learned things were not so simple as she had believed. Monsters were real. Not just named for their fangs and claws but for what they did. What they took from her. It was hard to face, hard to believe, but on that day she lost her parents. Right in front of her eyes.

The worst part is that it was little more than sport. In fact, he said as much. It was fun. They were cattle. All humans were to vampires. Then, the chaos had erupted. Another intruder bursting into her home, attacking her would-be killers. It was a struggle, but he saved her life if not her parents. A creature of rage, the beast turned back to a man and she screamed at him, demanding to know what they were and why they had done that and insisting she would kill them. Killing had been his whole life. Helping her was only natural.

Notes

● There has been some mystery left above, but the crux of this story is a tale of battle-weary werewolf in his fifties aiding a young woman in avenging her family, victims of a vampire attack. It will have an extremely dark opening as I would like to write out the loss of her family, and I want it to be treated with a great deal of weight.
● Any romance or sexual element to this story needs to be very, very slow burn and more than a little tumultuous and strained. I don't expect her to be even thinking of sex after what she went through, and I expect the gap in their ages to make him a little hesitant.
● This story is intended to be set in an original supernatural setting we can flesh out as we go. In it, I want all supernatural creatures to live in an alternative society, underground and away from ours, with the werewolf figure being a near-retired hunter of 'Rippers', supernaturals who viciously hunt and kill humans.
● I am okay with her becoming supernatural herself, or not. She could be bitten by a vampire at the start, bitten by him and turned to a werewolf to save her, or later transformed. I'm also entirely happy with her being granted entry to their world due to having seen them, and under his protection when there.
● I want this to be a story with a clear goal and climax. Something of a mystery hybridised with a supernatural-themed 'crime show' feel with them hunting the murderer and his associates. I'm open to a hard-fought happy ending here, or something darker.
● I am reasonably open on her character but she should be a young woman (Obviously over 18) who is extremely traumatised by what she's just been through. She should be volatile after what she's experienced, struggling to contain herself and leaning on him, hard, for support. I want to see her scared of the dangerous, unsettling new world she's been thrown into and I want to see her feel a lot throughout this experience.

"Execute Order 66."

In one moment, the life she had worked for was torn out from beneath her. A young padawan, filled with potential and determination, on patrol with clone troopers. Far across the galaxy a man gave that command and sealed her fate, or so he intended. Only, the clones misjudged the rookie they were fighting alongside. She didn't have a choice. She had to kill them. It was that, or death. What came next, though? Someone had to pay for what had been done to her, to everyone else like her, everyone she'd known.

Summary

When Emperor Palpatine gave the command to execute order 66 almost nine thousand Jedi were sent to their graves by their own former allies, with just dozens of survivors scattered across a galaxy and now hunted. One Padawan was underestimated, the clones around her failing to fulfil the order and forcing her to kill her allies. Pained, confused, lost and now doomed to be pursued anywhere she went she was set on a path of finding a new purpose in a tumultuous galaxy.

Star Wars: Vengeance is the story of that one, lone Padawan and her journey after order 66. Who she is, where she was, how she felt about that fight and what she chooses to do next is open. It's a huge sandbox, with one main theme of choosing whether to burn herself out hunting those responsible or whether to find a new life, and try to be happy again.

This is intended to be a long-running, plot-focused story with room for potential romance but no heavy smut focus. It's intended to touch on morally complex topics and place the main character in difficult situations. The main character is not intended to be a true prodigy, merely a reasonably capable padawan, and so her goals will be limited by that.

Notes

● I like star wars, but I'm far from an expert. No need to stress about flawless accuracy here. I will be doing research as the story goes, though!
● I don't want to over-indulge on filling the story with canon people. I'd rather keep appearances rare. There's lots of space for new people and plots.
● The fleeing prodigy could be of any gender, I just used she/her pronouns for them. I'd like them to be capable, but flawed, and not more powerful than big canon names, just a competent padawan level Jedi.
● I would like to do an introduction scene of them being attacked during Order 66, I am open to a time skip after that.
● Exactly what she focuses on for her initial revenge plot is up for discussion, if she targets the clones who were on the planet where she was attacked, imperial inquisitors hunting jedis, or wants to find a way to go after the enemies at the top it could all be interesting.
● I plan for this to be a GM'd story but over time I'm sure NPC's will become consistently recurring.
