It is the year 3056; humanity has spread to the stars, extending its reach across countless star-systems in its home arm of the Milky Way and continues to expand. After the collapse of Terra and the abandonment of the Sol System, humanity has fractured into several different warring states. There are countless different sovereign states, all of them vying for galactic influence and power, but the big three remain constant. There's The Alliance, the oligarchy masquerading as a democracy where only the Elite have the chance to be elected into power. The Peoples Galactic Republic, a totalitarian regime that has managed to remain in power by suppressing the political freedoms of its residents for the last several centuries. And finally, there's the Federation of United Systems, a democracy where even the lowest-born people may rise to power...and find that they are unable to effect any great change, thanks to the sheer amount of bureaucracy and red tape involved in getting anything done. Society has stagnated, the golden age of Mankind giving way to a period of ineffective government, mass poverty, rampant corruption and surging levels of crime, both organised and not. With no outside thread to unify it humanity as it always does has fractured and divided itself. It is a time of turmoil, strife and brutality, a time when being at the bottom of the ladder almost always locks you into a life of constant struggle.

But you do not care about the political situation. Why should you? You are far away from any of that, on the very edges of known space, thrown into the dark beyond to survive on your own for the enrichment of your betters. You are part of a mining crew on the industrial colony R4-6NA, colloquially known on-base as "Ragna 1." You are lightyears away from any society whatsoever, the nearest colony being at least a months journey away even by Hyperspace, so the goings-on of the galaxy and humanity as a whole are far from your primary concerns. No, your concerns are much more pressing; working on a mining platform, your job is to leave the base, mine the nearby asteroids, process the rocks and sort the useful ore from the slag, then load it onto one of the weekly transports to ship out to your parent company "Shintech Mining Solutions." The work is gruelling and dangerous, the days are long, the pay is...acceptable, but for many of you, it is the only job you can get. And hey, job security isn't that bad, actually. Who else would want to come out here and risk dying every time they clock on for peanuts, eh? So...there's that at least.



What makes the work even harder is that Shintech has a "No Females" policy on their rigs. They believe that allowing women on-base only risks their workers starting a family, and if that happens, they would need to spend money to improve conditions or be levied with fines regarding the safety and wellbeing of the children. Obviously, Shintech doesn't want to spend any more money on its remote mining platforms than it has to, so...no women. This means that the mens only chances of "Company" come every six months when they're begrudgingly given some Leave, or...if they happen to want to warm each others bunks instead. Funnily enough, given that they have to see them at work every day, few of them take this option.

Recently, tensions began to bubble over. No holiday, back-breaking work with low pay and no way to really blow off steam combined to create a full-on workers strike. The nature of the job and the length of the journey to the station meant that "Scabs" were not really an option for Shintech, so the mass revolt amongst Ragna's workforce forced it to capitulate. It agreed to the workers terms, which are as follows.

1) More Support Staff:
Much of the work on base was piling up because the men weren't trained in how to fill out Shintech's obtuse paperwork. They were also unable to make requests or commission new equipment due to this. They demanded, therefore, that Shintech send out a group of individuals specifically trained in filling out their paperwork. They also demanded that more mechanics, engineers and medical personnel are sent out to improve general quality of life.

2) Scheduled R&R time:
One one-month holiday every eight months was unacceptable. Shintech was forced to give the workers more regular R&R, and provide them with a faster shuttle to reach their holiday destination - the nearby newly opened casino moon of New Vega, about a weeks travel from Ragna - faster.

3) A Worker Rep:
The leader of the strike was placed in the newly created "Workers Representative," with the power to participate in all decisions regarding the workers and the base, and a direct line to Shintech to pass along concerns and complaints.

4) "Company:"
The most important demand of all, according to many of the workers. Life gets lonely out in the black, and they are sick and tired of having to "make do with Rosy Palms and her five friends," as it were. As such, Shintech agreed to send out a shuttle of "Companions" whose job it would be to see to the Miners more carnal desires.

Shintech, being the cheap bastards that they are, decided to roll 1 and 4 in together. They started hiring individuals to act as "Entertainment" to the miners in their time off, and in between being fucked silly by the men of the rig, they would perform the maintenance and support roles such as paperwork, helping with engineering, medical assistance, etc etc. The only problem was that Shintech still didn't want any children running around the base; liability nightmares, they were. So...they compromised.



Shintech decided to hire feminine men to send over; Twinks and Femboys, basically, to act as the "Female Company" that the men demanded. After some arguments, the workers agreed; company was company, and they were past the point of caring whether it was male or female. This "Company" was instructed that they are to follow the orders of the men on board the rig without question. They are subservient to the men on the rig, and their job is to keep those men happy, or at least distracted. The game starts in the week following the arrival of the first batch of "Company."



This game focuses on the interactions between the larger, more traditionally masculine miners and rig workers, and the more feminine men who have been sent to "keep them company." This is a game that leans more towards Smut and is primarily a Sandbox, but there will be a plot and various Important Events occurring throughout. The station is cramped and players will get very, very little privacy. Therefore, free use and public play will be common. This isn't compulsory - only bend a Femboy over the table and fuck him in the middle of lunch if you're both into that - but it will be a general theme of the game. Further information on available roles is found below.


The Miners

Your days are long, and your jobs are hard. The mining colony is small and cramped with narrow corridors, small rooms built for utility rather than comfort, and every time you leave in a shuttle to mine a nearby asteroid, you might not come back; you do not have rigging equipment. You have spacesuits, mining lasers and carts. The smallest stray asteroid could easily punch through your spacesuit and kill you if you don't act quickly enough, so when you return "home," you might well have a great deal of tension and stress to work out. There are four main positions that your character might work in:

- Miner - You leave on the shuttles for your shift to mine. Sometimes you might go out to a nearby rock and come back for lunch and shift end. Sometimes, you might be assigned to leave on a larger ship to go further afield and be gone for days or even weeks at a time. On these occasions, you are usually placed into a larger crew and assigned a "Companion" or two to enjoy in your off time.

- Technician - You work in the hangar, repairing and maintaining the equipment. Your job isn't as immediately dangerous as the miners, but you often get miners visiting you in their worse moods because their equipment has broken, or something has happened that has pissed them off. Not for the faint of heart.

- Breaker - Your job is to take the ore brought back by the Miners and break it open to see if anything useful is inside. Geodes, ore, rare materials, the like. If so, you place it on its relevant belt. If not, you break it down into roughly fist-sized chunks and send it on to be recycled as building materials. It's not as dangerous, but it's much more back-breaking; the miners get access to mining lasers and ship-born robotic arms, and often work in zero gravity where weight isn't an issue. Your work requires more care, so you are often forced to break open chunks of rock the old fashioned way; with a hammer and chisel.

- Dockworker - It's simple. Your job is to sort, store and load the various ores and rock for delivery to the right places. You are in charge of putting the materials in the right spots in the storage hangars, filling out manifests and loading them onto their corresponding shuttles. Your shifts tend to be longer than the others, and human contact is at a minimum; miners often go out in teams of two or more, and breakers are in one big room so can talk to each other as they work. Down in the depths of the storage hangars, however, it's easy to find yourself alone for hours on end. Whilst they might not admit it, some of them just want a cuddle.

Miners rooms are small and utilitarian, large enough for a bed and a small amount of walking around space. Miners eat in a communal mess hall, and shower in communal showers. There is little to no privacy on the rig, and what little you do have is closely guarded. You likely know your fellow miners very well, most of you having been here for at least a year. You might not like everybody there, but there is a certain degree of camaraderie and unity in your shared "Well, it's shit for everybody" mentality. Some attempts have been made, however, to make it easier; certain rooms have been hacked into and sabotaged to provide other functions. For example, a disused hangar has been turned into a gym and tennis court. An old storeroom has had the water pipes divided off into it to turn it into an impromptu sauna. One of the observation decks has been turned into an illegal bar and lounge area, and there's even a small swimming pool having been dug into the rock outside in the small external bubbled area (the asteroid has no atmosphere, and the colony exists mostly inside save for a small bubbled "garden" covered by a protective glass dome).



The Companions

No, not Alexanders cavalry. The Companions are the twinks and femboys that have been hired to provide "Entertainment" and "Support" to the miners. These Companions were hired in a variety of ways; some of them knew what they were signing up for and agreed eagerly. Some were forced into acceptance by crippling debts, and the generous paychecks that the Companions are receiving seemed like a good way to pay them. Some of them were pressganged to settle debts to the company, some might be fleeing some kind of crime or somebody they pissed off, some might well have been bought as slaves from the Outer Colonies. Really, your reason for being here is up to you. But be aware that if your character isn't willing, then (as long as both players agree) they might still be taken regardless. Part of your contract is that you are basically owned by the company and the miners. The miners can stop you doing what you're doing at any time and use you in any way they see fit as long as they don't permanently damage or kill you. You are their free use holes. They can fuck you whenever, wherever, and you are not allowed to say no. You may say that you are busy and would prefer to do it later, but if they insist, you are required to satisfy them.

Companions also have other jobs on the base to provide support. These positions are split into the following categories:

- Secretary: Mostly used for paperwork, inventory and dealing with the obtuse and bureaucratic internal systems of Shintech. If a miner needs new equipment, if there is an accident, if a report needs to be made...a Secretary will handle filling out the paperwork.

- Mechanic: Some fixes and machinery requires a lighter touch. For this purpose, some of the Companions have been assigned to assist the Technicians in maintaining gear and running basic maintenance on the base itself.

- Medical Staff: Many of the Companions have been trained in medicine and first aid. Whilst not qualified doctors, they are qualified to assist the on-site medical officer (a specially recruited Companion, after the last doctor died in an accident) in his procedures, and can attend to minor injuries and illnesses on their own. Plus, they get sexy costumes.

- Kitchen Staff: Since the arrival of the Companions, morale has increased. This is partly due to the fact that some of the Companions seem to be extremely good at cooking, increasing the quality of the Miners meals drastically.

- Shipboy: On long journeys, these Companions are assigned to ships to provide company for the miners who might be gone for weeks at a time. In the meantime, they are general handymen, doing whatever chores and odd jobs need doing. They're basically errandboys until assigned to a ship.

- Holes: Useless at everything else, these Companions are usually Slaves bought en masse from one of the less enlightened worlds and put on the base simply to be an always-available fucktoy.

Companions get similar rooms to the miners; small and pokey, but with just enough room for personal effects and some movement. However, being employed for the purposes they are, their rooms are actually a little larger; oftentimes, their rooms can be as much as twice as large, and they are given more freedom to personalise and customise the look to their desires. Given what they do for them, the miners don't tend to begrudge them this luxury. They are expected to refer to the Miners by the names and / or titles that they specify that they prefer (though OOC, if you don't like calling a character "Daddy" or "Master," it is expected that allowances be made to accommodate your Ons and Offs IC). A Miner CAN request that he have exclusive rights to a specific Companion, but in that case, an interview needs to be scheduled, paperwork filled out and consent procured from both parties. If a Companion is exclusive to a specific Miner, that Femboy cannot fuck others without His Miners consent. This is the only time (besides life threatening situations) that a Companion can say "No."







Rules

1) Regardless of Free Use and Dubcon, any sexual encounter must be approved by both players first.

2) No female characters. If you want a heterosexual game, then go elsewhere; this is purely a game to give the Homosexual and Bisexual male characters a chance to stretch their legs; very few games have an abundance of gay or bisexual males, and this game is hopefully going to give those players a chance to get their freak on. :P Gender and sexual orientation of the players doesn't matter.

Appearance:
 
Perhaps the most striking feature Arty has going for him is the fact that, despite being a male and identifying as a male, he looks indistinguishable on a superficial level to a female (by design, of course). He doesn't have any immediately visible scars or tattoos, but does enjoy wearing various pieces of sparkly jewellery that – he thinks – accentuate his best features. He also tends to employ his makeup-applying abilities to disguise the more permanent scars from his history; he has a jagged scar beneath one of his pectorals, a crescent-moon shaped scar on his lower back and a series of small, circular burn marks on the inside of his left thigh. Thankfully, he is skilled enough in applying makeup to disguise them most of the time. Arty stands at a paltry 4'11 (150-ish cm) tall and weighs a mere 45kg, with a willowy, slender build that is more akin to a supermodel than an athletic exemplar; he is not muscular, being more on the "toned but soft" side but he has been known to be able to put on a sudden burst of speed when sprinting if necessary.

He has long, waist-length dark-flame-red hair that spills over a gracefully curved, smooth face and then downwards in a coiled, intricate braid that he takes great pains to maintain and care for. Whilst most of his hair is this shade of deep red, he does have a single wide streak of white running down the left side of the top of his head, starting at the top and ending at the edge of that collection of hairs that hang with the rest of his fringe. His skin tends to be meticulously cared for in both complexion and cleanliness, and he takes pride in his delicately attractive features, gorgeously bright emerald green eyes and his plush, soft, faint pink lips. His wide doe eyes are almost always sparkling with flirtatious mirth and his lips are nearly perpetually pulled into a mischievous, suggestive smile. Despite his short height, he has deceptively long, slender legs and a well-shaped, firm and toned bubble-butt, but has nothing in the chest department since – obviously – he is not actually female and has no desire to be consciously referred to as such (unless he decides to take the form of a female, for whatever reason). He tends to favour more feminine clothing options and actively enjoys wearing things like high heels, even if they do have a tendency of hurting his feet after a long day.


Personality:

At heart, Arty is a kindhearted, gentle soul who will always try to make people feel better any way he can, and delights in earning grateful or amused smiles from people he sets out to help. Arty, despite accepting that the universe is not a nice place and that sometimes more aggressive methods are sometimes necessary, absolutely abhors resorting to aggression, intimidation or outright violence to solve his problems. He is, for all intents and purposes, a pacifist that is more comfortable coming up with diplomatic solutions that satisfy everybody in some way. Whilst he is no stranger to basic self defence techniques, it is healing people and relationships and making others happy that truly brings him joy. This runs so deep that you might even consider it a pathological need to please, even going so far that if he thinks that somebody is angry at him he may spiral into a minor panic attack. This extends to his general social demeanour; he is always eager to please those he has decided are “Above” him, and delights in receiving rewards for his good behaviour. Whether that is simply an invite to a party or something far more intimate, it doesn't matter.

Arty, deep down, craves acceptance and validation and tends to take harsh criticism and denigration especially hard. This makes him especially easy prey for manipulative or abusive people, and he has suffered multiple abusive relationships in the past due to his pacifism and secretly low self esteem. It also factors into his wild partying and substance abuse; the need to escape his demons rather than fight them. However, as secretly broken as he is, he is not a quiet, wallflower wretch. He is always eager to party and when he makes friends, he makes them for life, remaining unfailingly loyal and devoted to their wellbeing come what may. Despite his acknowledgement of the necessity of his self defence classes, he is always hesitant to use them in any way. If he is around people he distrusts or actively fears, he will withdraw and attempt to evade notice, more comfortable with being ignored than initiating a conflict of some kind. He will never instigate a fight or argument himself; it goes against everything he believes to be the first one to escalate an altercation.


History:

Arty's father, Brandon, was - in a word - powerhungry. The Le Gautier name could be traced all the way back to Pre-Collapse Terra itself, and Brandon was always of the opinion that their family should always strive to be more important and influential. Brandon and his father and his father before him were all prominent and influential politicians within The Alliance, always holding some form of political office and using that influence to enrich themselves at the expense of those beneath him, influencing policy decisions, swaying donors and managing campaigns. But that wasn't enough for Brandon; he needed his family to ascend. He needed his family to grow in power and influence, even to the point of potentially being the next Alliance President. For Brandon, the Le Gautier family had spent too long in the shadows; it was time for the Kingmakers to become the Kings. It was never a matter of ideals or wanting to make the world a better place; Brandon just loved power.

It didn't matter what that power was or where he held it, or even if he used it, just having it was enough. The more he gathered, the more he craved. The more he craved, the more vicious he became in its acquisition. Bribery, blackmail, espionage, sabotage...all of it was fair game to Brandon, and he used it with brutal efficacy. Brandon took his family from a background family in the shadows of politics to a major player within the Senate with a reputation for getting what he wanted, when he wanted, no matter what. Nothing was proven, of course, and he knew just how to exploit the people beneath him to retain his Senators chair.  And the only thing he wanted more than power? A son to share it with as heir to the Le Gautier line, to increase their power and one day perhaps even be President. So when Arty's mother announced that she was pregnant...Brandon was ecstatic.

Unfortunately, "Arturius" was not what his father had envisaged in a son.

Brandon was very much of the opinion that Might Made Right. He was the stereotypical manly man, large and powerful and accomplished in the arts of physical dominance, with a selfish, ruthless streak dedicated to getting what he wanted, when he wanted it. In Brandon's head, his son was going to be a continuation of the firm, iron will that dated back through the generations. His mother was more concerned with making certain her son was happy and free to follow his own heart, but she was far too scared of Brandon to do so openly. Brandon attempted to teach his son the proper disciplines for the Heir of Le Gautier – that is, combat techniques, Espionage, Political Theory and History, Warfare and Strategy and the belief that he was above everybody else and the law itself – but almost none of it stuck. It might have been his mothers soothing influence, it might have been unconscious rebellion, or it might just have been that that was not who Arturius was, but as he grew up, it became ever more apparent that he was not like his father in any way, shape or form, and his tastes always leaned far too much towards the “Feminine” for his father. Barely a day went by when Arturius was not being verbally abused by his father, denigrated and emasculated and insulted for not being “worthy” of carrying the Le Gautier name.

The day his father caught 5-year-old Arturius frowning over a sewing kit was the day the abuse escalated to the physical.

For the next seven years, Arturius endured daily physical abuse at the hands of his father, barely a word passing without a backhanded clip to the face, or a rough throw to the ground, or a kick to the stomach as he curled up to try to protect himself. His father had always had a temper, but now that he could see that his son was far more feminine than even he had suspected, there was nothing holding him back. What made it worse was that his son didn't seem to care about power and influence. He was flighty, flickering from one passion to the next, more interested in satisfying his own momentary whims than gathering authority and influence, which enraged him still further. If his son wasn't going to share in that lust for power, then he was just another person to exercise that power over. Abuse was just a different manifestation of control and power, after all, and Brandon had always gotten off on crushing the people beneath him under his heel. Of course, Arty's mother Elleanor was another part of the problem with how she coddled Arty, so Brandon cowed her, too, into increased submission with escalating levels of abuse.

But it did not help. As Arturius grew older, he began to find himself. Singing, dancing, sewing, music and art, little acts of mischief and trickery...they all brought him happiness during the dark days of abuse, even escalating into him realising just how much he loved wearing womens clothing, how good he felt about himself in a sea of darkness and self loathing when he looked in the mirror and saw how pretty he looked. Seeing his natural form, the person he was beneath it all looking so beautiful and elegant...it was freeing. All that he wanted to be was who he was inside; a boy who just so happened to be beautiful rather than rugged. Cute rather than handsome. Dainty and soft rather than hard and rippling. Was that so wrong? According to Brandon...yes. He didn't like that. Arturius was unlucky enough that his father soon found out about his predilection for feminine fashion – having walked in on Arturius trying on a new dress that his mother had secretly bought him, pretending that it was for her instead – and proceeded to beat him more savagely than he ever had before, putting Arturius in real danger of actual death.

But there was a bright, silver lining through this savage beating; his mother soon came home, saw Arturious beaten and bloody and broken in bed, and immediately took action. She'd had enough of her husband, and – taking Arturius and a suitcase of clothes – immediately fled to the hospital. From there, she was able to call in her own political favours; Brandon would never face punishment for what he did, of course. He was far, far too powerful with too many powerful friends. But what Elleanor could do was disappear. She was more well-liked than Brandon by lightyears, so her friends were able to convince enough people in the right places to help them leave The Alliance and hide within The Federation, faking their deaths in the process. Supposedly, Arty passed away from his injuries and Elleanor committed suicide soon after. In reality, they were smuggled across the galactic border and into Federation space, where they were able to procure new identities. Life wasn't perfect, but Elleanor had enough money to let them live comfortable and give Arty a new chance at life.

Following these events and his recovery, Arty really began to try to come out of his shell, throwing himself into social interactions with a vengeance, quickly and easily making new friends and branching out to experience all of the things that he'd never been able to before, quickly finding a passion and talent for drama and fashion, especially design and textiles, along with a love of dancing, singing and enjoying musical theatre. He was able to dress however he wanted with nobody but his closest friends knowing that he was actually male, for the first time in his life finding a routine where...he was actually happy. He went to a good university and got his degree, and quickly made a name for himself within his little field for his ability to make friends, influence people in the right way and find diplomatic solutions to all kinds of different problems. And then...it all came crashing down. Brandon found out that his son was still alive - how, he had no idea - and came looking for them. He didn't send an agent or an assassin or the army. He came personally, showing up at their house one evening when Elleanor was alone.

She managed to escape his wrath - barely - by leaping from the window and limping her way down the street, but it was clear that their lives as they knew them were over. Elleanor had her own plans just in case, but knew that they could no longer stay together. Arty bid her goodbye, tearfully telling her that they'd see each other again soon, before she disappeared into The Peoples Galactic Republic to hide amongst the oppressed masses. Meanwhile, Arty was able to secure a lucrative position with Shintech which would take him deep into deep-space; it was a position he'd been considering beforehand, the ability to go and make peoples lives better, to try to do something to look after the people on the lowest rung of societies ladder...but now, with the threat of his father looming over him, it provided a quiet, out of the way, basically unknown place for him to hide. Brandon would never think to look for him on a mining rig of all places! So he accepted the position, using his education and people skills to the best of his ability, and never looked back.

Appearance:
Tall, probably too tall to working on an asteroid colony at 6'5". He spent his first few months on R4-6NA crashing his head into low hanging ducts in the tightly spaced corridors, and occasionally has to stoop to enter doorways. His frame is well built from decades of hard work in the breaker room, his arms, torso and back are particularly muscled. He keeps longer hair, popular on his home world and a long, well maintained, beard, usually tied into a tight knot to keep it safe from catching on any machinery. Signs of age are starting to show on his face, and his dark eyes clearly have a deep level of intelligence and experience behind them.

Personality:
Jovial, friendly and a joker. Good at building camaraderie aboard the colony. A hard negotiator that cares for the station and the people that work on it. But also ready to apply a bit of discipline to people getting out of line and threatening the new settlement aboard ship.

History:
Born in one of the great mass cities in the Peoples Galactic Republic, Conrad escaped to R4-6NA in his mid-twenties after holding a series of dead-end industrial jobs in the city's mega-factories. That experience made him perfect for a role in the breaker room. When he joined it was a brand new industrial complex and the workers there were breaking ground for the first time. Conrad, always jovial, fit in well with the raucous atmosphere of the Breaker room, forging a tight camaraderie with the men on his shift. As people came and went, Conrad simply stayed there, building himself a little nest egg from his regular salary. There wasn't a lot to buy on R4-6NA after all.

As older members left the team Conrad became and increasingly central figure, an old-veteran, and he always made sure to help new crew members get integrated into the team, cracking jokes and showing new hands how to operate the machinery. This role in the team was essential when the quality of life on R4-6NA started to deteriorate. Shintech were trying to squeeze the last few drops of profit out of the station, and bit by bit the old luxuries that made life there slowly started to disappear. R&R, Support staff, Food Quality, it was all slowly vanishing.

The grumbling began most audibly in the breaker room, with Conrad and a few of the others central to the social network there starting to organise the grumbling into something more productive. From there he spread out to the mess-halls, speaking to technicians, mining teams and dockyard workers when they passed each other at the chow table. By the third month of deteriorating conditions they had organised a workers council, with heads off all the major industries represented. In Shintech wanted to maximize profits, they planned to show them how important workers conditions were.

The strike started in the breaker-room. Machines would "accidentally break" and teams would slow their work down so it fell just below target. Dockyard workers would cost the company extra fees by unloading cargo too slowly. Mining teams would report back that they couldn't find any fresh ore veins or that they're lasers were non-operational. Soon this caught the attention of head-office, and when their representative investigated, they were presented with a list of demands from the workers.

This was initially rejected outright, which lead to a complete cessation of work on R4-6NA for three weeks. The company responded by cutting the food rations, which was met with the smashing of some very expensive company property. Eventually, this couldn't go on and both sides were dragged to the negotiating table. At this point the list of workers demands were quite extravagant, feeling they had clearly cowed the company. They pushed hard, but eventually settled for the compromise "companions" policy, better food and more R&R.

These newly won rights put Conrad at the centre of the colony. As the chief negotiator the company elevated him to a desk job as "workers representative" in charge of implementing these changes and dealing with future grievances. Conrad was sure this new bookish assignment was a minor punishment for someone like him, but no matter, there was a lot of changes that needed to be made in R4-6NA, and even more paper work to do!
