"I was going to offer to show you the defences this place possesses," he said, trying to give her hand a reassuring squeeze. "But Anya said they're only designed to come online if it comes under attack, so if we turned them on there might be an unintended accident."

" I just can't trust them ok?"

[Lady Jenn]

"I'm just saying give them a chance," he said. "I'm not suggesting you click your fingers and instantly trust them, life's not that simple."

“. I am trying to I felt you should know though”

"Do you want to see something..." he paused for a moment. "I nearly said cool, but that might be overselling it, it's not even a cool story as to how I got it."

" ok and this place is cool it's another universe to me remember " she smiled

[Lady Jenn]

He pulled his sleeve up, revealing a jagged scar on his upper arm. "So...while I was first learning my healing skills I managed to hurt my arm doing something stupid," he said. "For whatever reason this scar never healed properly, so nowadays I just keep it as a reminder to make sure everyone is more careful."

" yeah is that the one that you cut with a knife but tell others that you fell out a tree to look cooler?"

[Lady Jenn]

"Yeah," he said, blushing slightly. "I had hoped the only people who knew that were my mother and Lucas."

[Lawshenk]

" erm it was in Lucas comic when you told him the flash did look painful"

[Lady Jenn]

"It does still hurt occasionally," he said. "Although usually only when I'm trying to lift things I really shouldn't."

" you could maybe get greenie to help with that"

[Lady Jenn]

"No offence to you but I think I'll say no," he said. "I...I need to keep control for my powers to work, I'm not sure that'd work if I had a greenie option."

"I'm not sure I'd be a doctor very long if there was a risk I'd rip my patients apart," he said, laughing.

“ hey the offer stands ok”

[Lady Jenn]

"I know," he said, smiling. "I promise I appreciate you offering it."

" I erm wish the whole greenie thing with you never happened "

[Lady Jenn]

"You kept me alive," he said, offering her a reassuring smile. "I can never be angry with you for that."

[Lawshenk]

" you can never be angry again" she reminded him

[Lady Jenn]

"In fairness it's pretty hard to get angry," he said. "Believe me plenty of people have tried to."

“ I bet but I used to be that way too”

[Lady Jenn]

"I feel like maybe Spyder could give us some good advice," he said thoughtfully. "I'm not sure I'd be capable of keeping that under control."

"I think I'd rather stay here," he said, resting his head on her shoulder. "It's too comfortable here for me to want to move."
