"Hey, I don't suppose you could calm down a bit?" he said, pulling back slightly. "I'm not sure my body is quite ready for something this...passionate."

“ I am calm “ she looked down and started to shake “ why I green ?”

"Stay with me," he said, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Let's not panic unless we absolutely have to, okay?"

“ I don’t know if I can but I want to”

"I can..." he paused for a moment. "I mean, I can't do what Deana does, calm someone down, but I am capable of taking on part of people's emotions for them. I don't do it often because it takes a toll on my body."

"If you're sure," he said, smiling calmly. "I'd help you any way I can if not."

"I can't disagree with you there," he said, stifling a laugh. "Boy, that didn't sound anywhere near as dirty in my head."

"I can't say I have," he replied. "Unless I somehow lost all memory of it shortly after anyway."

"That's not..." he stopped, blushing slightly. "Okay, let's just pretend I didn't say that, before I make any more of an idiot of myself."

"No, it's okay," he replied. "I was trying to flirt, I just forgot that I am absolutely godawful at it," he said, laughing.

" oh " she smiled " I'm blushing but I guess you can't tell that"

"I used to get told my face is red so often people can't tell if I'm blushing or not," he said, laughing. "I'm not sure whether they meant that as a compliment or an insult."

" it would be an insult I guess " she smiled and kissed him " you dont need friends like that though,! You have me "

"If we just had a house things would be simple," he said, before laughing. "Well, relatively speaking anyway."

“ I know but we’re stuck here”

"We won't be forever," he said, taking her hand. "Besides, we've both got ways we can be useful as long as we're here."

"They can't be all bad," he said, trying to smile. "After all, they haven't tried to kill us yet, that's a definite improvement."
