"That's what your powers are, aren't they Anya?" Isaac asked, looking at her. "That's why your father went to such lengths to protect you, powers like that in the hands of a villain would be dangerous."

As she typed the nanos stared to spark

"That's the most those things have worked in about two years," said a young man who suddenly appeared near to the machine. He was dressed in a pilot's uniform, a pair of goggles around his neck, his olive-coloured face half-hidden by a mop of red hair. "No wonder Anya recruited you."

"I haven't recruited anyone Dane," Anya said with a sigh. "Jenni, meet Dane, also known as Mercury. He's our recon guy who, in case you couldn't tell, runs very fast."

“ and miss people, leaving them behind?”

[Lady Jenn]

"Well, if you'd sent me rather than Spyder-" Dane started saying, before stopping as he got a frosty look from Anya. "Sorry, as I'm sure she's about to point out to you, unlike Spyder I don't have battle experience. I know that he wouldn't leave anyone behind if he could have avoided it."

[Lawshenk]

“ I’m sure but as the one left behind it’s never nice” she typed something the nanos start to glow

[Lady Jenn]

"I'm sure Spyder would apologise if he was here," Dane said. "Where the hell is he anyway? He's not normally out of action this long."

"He's not normally teleporting in and out of a fight though," Anya replied. "That combined with the number of people he was teleporting will have put more stress on his body."

The nanos spelt out poor guy on the table

"Did you do that?" Dane asked, looking impressed. "I've never seen them do that before."

[Lawshenk]

“ kinda it’s ai “

[Lady Jenn]

"Well at the very least you must've programmed them somehow," Dane said. "I've mucked around with them once or twice, they don't normally do that."

[Lawshenk]

" well " she blushed " I tinkered a little"

[Lady Jenn]

"You'll have to show me sometime," he said, before shrinking slightly at the look Anya shot him. "What? What did I do wrong this time?"

"There are times to flirt Dane," Anya said, sighing. "Right now is not one of them."

[Lawshenk]

" no offence but a) I did not realise it was flirting, and b) I am taken" she smiled " also I was shown this by Tony Stark and I need his permission to pass it on, he has not given it to me!"

[Lady Jenn]

"Well, considering Tony is in another universe entirely, I can't see how he could be mad," Isaac said. "It's not like the nanos are going to contact him and tell him what you've been doing, I know we certainly won't."

" with him any thing is possible "

[Lady Jenn]

"You're also assuming the nanos will do as they're told," Dane said. "I can only speak for A.V.A, but if she thinks we're giving her the wrong instructions she's not exactly timid about pointing that fact out to us."

“ hum Ava is a lot more sphopisticated than these little guys, I’d bet Ava could have made these”

[Lady Jenn]

"The nanos were created around the same time I was," Ava replied, appearing among them so suddenly that even Anya seemed caught by surprise. "I am unable to access them, I believe Anya's father feared what would happen should my programming become compromised in some way."

[Lawshenk]

" ok but believe me they are very very basic Hench me being able to do anything to them"

[Lady Jenn]

"She's not heard the tales of Project Scorpio then I take it?" Dane asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, considering YOU aren't supposed to know about Scorpio," Anya replied snorting, "I'd say it's a pretty safe bet she doesn't."

“ it was the code name for an Xbox?”

[Lady Jenn]

"Not in this world," Dane replied. "Here Scorpio was an experiment with hyper-intelligent nanos. It...did not end well."

[Lawshenk]

“ oh right “ she looked at the screen “well these just need to run code it will take a few hours “

[Lady Jenn]

"Are you just going to sit staring at the screen all day?" Dane asked, raising an eyebrow. "That could get very boring very quickly."
