I volunteered for a few years in a pediatric unit and learned a lot about courage and expansive hearts.  The youngest patients seem to have more patience and courage than anyone else I know and those who spend time around them give so much to support and comfort.  The really is no bigger reward than the smile you can put on the face of a suffering child.

Sanity has won as Ohio Gov. John Kasich vetoed the so called heartbeat bill. Basically saying that it would be overthrown in court anyway so this way they save money.

Of course he approved the 20 week abortion ban but hey at least a small win right?? right??
