When my husband saw it he said he thought it had a Buffy feel to it, but it definitely has it's own unique flavor. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with BlackThrone :-)

~BASICS~

Name: Salvatore Esposito
Age: 515
Species: Reaper
Alignment: Dark
Occupation: Business Owner
Role Within the Fae Community: Offers sanctuary to Dark Fae within El Vino Rojo
Education: College Educated, Certified Mortician
Hobbies: Cars, Wine and Beer Making, Dancing, Theater, Movies and Television

How Do They View Humans?: Food, Play toys, Inconsequential beings who rush to their deaths the moment they burst into the world bloody and screaming.

~Appearance~
Hair: Black
Eyes: Grey
Height: 6'2
Physical Description: Salvatore stands tall at 6'2 with a broad shoulder physique. Despite his rather imposing height, his body is a result of working and not much else. He has a hairy chest and back and very "average" in terms of musculature. If he spends a weekend or two eating out and drinking he needs to hit the gym or cut back on the calories but he does not spend hours a day attempting to achieve some form of physical perfection.
Distinguishing Features: Grey Eyes, Hairy chest, constant o'clock shadow - even if he shaved twenty minutes earlier.
Character Model: Jon Hamm

~Indepth~

What Do They Feed Off Of?: Death - Every human that dies feeds and sustains him. His food source is infinite and endless. Wars, Famine, Poverty, Taco Bell...all tools that provide sustenance for him.

Power(s):
Ethereal sight - Salvatore can see into the spiritual aspect of the mortal realm and see the spirits trapped or refusing to move on. He can communicate with these spirits  and help them move on to the afterlife, by force if necessary.

Necromancy - Salvatore is capable of bring the dead back to life but only for a limited about of time. What he brings back in unpredictable and has proven unstable in the past. He is less likely to use this ability unless it is absolutely necessary.

Evocation - Salvatore is able to summon and commune with spirits to the mortal plane and even permit them into the realm of the living, momentarily, through evocation.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:
Vow of non-violence - Reapers may not kill nor intervene in the matters of death personally. They are simply witnesses to the inevitable. A Reaper that kills (purposely) or intervenes in such matters lose all their powers. They cease being "Fae" and must live the rest of their (normal mortal life span) lives as a mortal.

Unstable "Magic" - Death Magic is highly unstable and unpredictable. It is not a skill that can be passed on in tome and scroll. Such magic is used cautiously and sparingly by Reapers out of concern of their consequences on them and those around them.

Death "Sense" - Salvatore can feel and "see" a person's "death clock". But like his vow of non-violence, he can not share the information or break his vow and lose all his powers. This extra sense also allows him to feel death in mass before it occurs. Tragedies that consume many lives or just one, he foresees it and is unable to do anything about it.

Personality:
Dogmatic- Salvatore doesn't care which god you worship on Sundays or what false prophet you bow for. There is no escaping death, it is the only guarantee in the world. Even those who believe themselves immortal will learn just how wrong they are. 2-3 thousand years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. He is not some bible thumping pest who wishes to tell you about his one master but be wary bringing up the topic of spirituality around him.
"One day, your god will be reaped just as all the others."

Blunt - Don't come to Salvatore if you want to be coddled. Salvatore will tell you the truth and does not care about offending the person he does in the process.

Expressive - Behind his steel grey eyes, Salvatore has no issue expressing himself. Considering his "grim/morbid" role within both Fae and Human society he is surprisingly positive about the world. Life is meant to be enjoyed for your time on earth is limited, even for himself.

Businesslike - Sal takes great pride in what he and his family have accomplished in the new world. Reapers typically rarely associated businesses to their craft until the Esposito family. Profiting in death is a new concept to Reapers but a well fitting one. Sal thought ahead by branching into other business. While his small niche in the business world does not register in Forbes, he has all the time at his disposal to expand at his pace.

Calm - He is hard to anger and tends to keep himself composted in stressful situations (which he rarely gets into thanks to his cautious nature).

Observant - Reapers are witnesses, they watch the world and make sure the balance remains in place. When one is meant to watch, they learn to pick up on the subtle natures of the world. A twitch, a "sign" a person's tell, these are all things he notices and keeps track of.

History: The Esposito family hails from Italy dating back a few centuries. Like many fae they serve either the light or the dark but rarely caused waves. Reapers are some of the only fae that can lose their powers and change their classification to "human".

Like many other Italians escaping poverty in the late 1800's, Salvatore came to the United States seeking a better life. His parents stayed home, comfortable in their ways with little ambition besides their small town mortician practice.

Sal had little to his name but quickly found himself working in a restaurant. He developed a passion for cooking, a deviation from the family trade (Morticians). It took him many years but he worked his way up from a pizza boy to an owner of his own corner shop in Brooklyn. Over the next few decades he went from one shop, to two then four, stagnating during the great depression but business began to pick up in the early 30's.

Through blood, sweat and tears he balanced his new passions for the food industry and his role as Reaper within New York. Post World War two he managed a few dozen pizza shops and opened "El Vino Rojo". Business is booming for him, he has become a hot spot for his community and her assist other Dark Fae in finding work in the city if it is needed. Salvatore is happy to help, but don't try to bull shit him. While loyal to the Dark Fae, he is no pushover.

Connections: Vivian Friends, Vivian's consigliere (future). They have known one another since he arrived in New York.

Likes: Dark Beers, Cars (He does not have a stocked garage, but does lease a nice toy here an there), Wine and fine dining, cooking Italian food, Watching the Boston Red Sox
Dislikes: The Yankees, Religions, Politics
Fears&Phobias: Being pushed to kill and losing his powers before he is ready.
O/Os: Sex is great, what else needs to be said? His safe word is Chocolate cake.

DONE!!!!
~BASICS~

Name: Róis Órfhlaith Coburn
Age:212
Species:Brownie
Alignment:Unaligned
Occupation: Works at the Waypoint for Aiden
Role Within the Fae Community: Being de best Browine a girl could be...that counts right
Education: Has taken to keeping up with her education throughout the years.
Hobbies: Helping those she has chosen to work for, cooking, dancing, collecting strange things, staying active, hiking and being outdoors,

How Do They View Humans?: Squishy messy things really, always leaving trash where ever they go, never taking care of anything. And they always take what they have for granted, I could never work for one.  They would never survive properly within our world. Probably try to kill the lot of us really, even a helpful Brownie like myself isn't safe with the way they think.

~Appearance~
Hair: Red in long layers that have a soft wave to them and falls down just past her shoulders.
Eyes:Emerald green
Height:5' 2''
Physical Description: Diana has what one may call a delicate frame, she has been compare to seemingly like an elf or that of a fay. She knows that some may not appeal to her thinner frame and long legs, her style tends to be a bit unique. Her body is slim and lean, delicate features and fragile frame. Her soft female curves alluring enough to draw the eye, her breasts just big enough to fill a strong hand and full hips perfect for birthing. She is perfect example of feminine nature, truly designed to be the creation of beauty and one of a kind.  Her green eyes large, warm and inviting. Her hands delicate and well trained. The only thing that seems to tarnish her perfect completion is the small crescent shaped scar on the back of her right shoulder.

Distinguishing Features: When angry Róis show the traits of her darker side, the draw and family blood line she has received from her mother. The woman turned into a boggart just before Róis was born. So when she get pushed to being angry her eyes grow darker, her ears become slightly pointed, her nails become sharp as claws, and even her skin takes on a paler tone. No doubt there would be more changes if she were to fully change.

Character Model:
Darya Lebedeva
~Indepth~

What Do They Feed Off Of?: Cream, honey, milk, sweets....

Power(s):
Lady luck: Brownies have always been known to bring luck to the homes they serve. Though the luck Róis brings to a place can be greatly influenced by her emotional state. Positive emotions tend to bring forth good luck, while negative emotions tend bring forth bad luck.

Desires/fears:
Róis has the ability to read what someone wants most when she is in a positive mood, but when her mood shifts it tends to be only to be their fears that she can read.

Strengths:
Finding: She knows where to get just about anything it seems. A long line of brownies serving this house or that family has led to a extensive network of connections. There really isn't anything she can't find, human items are the easiest things to get their hands on. But that doesn't mean Róis cant get what any fae needs, her gift to find what one needs has come in handy with most anyone she has worked for. Now the price that some of these things comes at may or may be far to much for those she serves to afford. And by cost she normally does not mean money, due to her age and a rather saffy business sense Róis has managed to collect a wonderful little nest egg.

Multi-skilled: Róis seems to have a great deal of useful skills that she uses in her work. Cooking, cleaning, tinkering or fixing, patching, sewing, cobbling, painting, and several other small tricks of the brownie trade that she has gathered over the years.

Stealth: Róis has a talent for not being seen until she wants to be, living in the locations she works at Róis needs to remain out of the way to appear when she is needed again.

Language: Due to her never knowing who she could end up working for, Róis has learned a great many languages. Not all of them human, some of the fae have very strange ways of communicating indeed.

Weaknesses:
Physical: Róis is like any other browine, shorter with a petite frame, and has the normal strength level of a human her size, in fact beyond a fae's longevity and healthy body she is on par with a human.

Combat: Róis isn't a fighter, sure she can sneak about when need be but would do better to avoid most any combat situation as she is simply not built for it or had any extensive training for it.

Risk of change:
Due to her mother becoming a boggart(it is rare but a truly wronged Brownie can become this) while she was still pregnant with Róis she risks doing so herself when pulled to far into the negative emotions. If she were to fully change there would be no going back, no more helping and a need to feed on the fear of others that would most likely be uncontrollable when first changing.

Fear of drowning:
Róis has a fear of drowning that came from her childhood thus she has never learned to swim. And doesn't plan on fixing that any time soon.

Personality:
Observant: Róis has always been very observant, noticing the things most didn't, or catching onto things a bit faster. Subtle tells, random hints or clues, making sure each detail was just right. Perhaps its a browine thing, or maybe just one of silly quirks.

Understanding: Due to the nature of her job Róis has seen and worked for a great many different fae. You see and come in contact with a lot in the strange life a Browine chooses, Róis has learned to readily except most anything for what it is. All fae are different, feed on different things, strive for different things and live in different ways

Fun-loving: Róis for the most part has a bright spirit that enjoys life, it isn't strange to see her busting a move while cleaning, or jumping right into a game of some sort.

Hardworking:you wont find a harder worker the Róis as long as you have good standing with her. Though if you don't well all that hard work goes to making you live hell...so its best to stay on her good side.

Confidential: Róis has worked for a wide range of Fae, all of which have their secrets. Róis refuses to share secrets she find or is given unless allowed to(or somehow forced) as she believes secrets are for those that keep them and only they should really be sharing them.

Obedient: Róis as most browines when kept happy will do most anything their chosen "employer" asks them to do. Though one should never take her for granted, it never ends well when you mistreat a Browine.

Vindictive: NEVER...and we do me NEVER piss off a Brownie specially this browine her strange heritage can make for a very bad set of events for who ever her anger is set towards. But believe me you'll know because Róis in never one to hide her displeasure.

History: Róis an interesting and rather strange brownie has a story that starts before she was even born. Now most don't know this but a Boggart was once a Brownie, but had been hurt or wrong in such a way that it scared their souls or so some of the stories go. That certain something wronged them so much that it shifted something inside the usually helpful beings and turns them into something darker, a being that feeds on fear and enjoys the screams of panic. It’s rare for sure, it’s why you hardly ever see a Boggart (their mostly just stories now), granted if you did you probably didn't live long enough or retain enough of her mind to really speak of it afterward. Now the reason I'm explaining this is because this very shift or change happened with Róis mother. Only it happened when she was with child, little Róis hadn't even been born yet and already she knew the taste of fear.

Róis has no idea what happened to change her mother so drastically, or what really happened to her after she was born. The small child was taken to her father and siblings to be raised as any good little brownie should, though the differences within her would always be apparent to those that knew her. She was unlike any other brownie, always pushing boundaries and talking about having her own life. But every day her father and siblings would tell her what she should be doing instead. They curbed her strange gifts to their way of life and forever said she had to be what all brownies were...workers, helpers, crafters, anything the house they served require. She tried to say it was more like being a servant, but they soon showed her that if wronged they would not take it lightly. Some of her brothers were more extreme than others when it came to retribution. Róis believes that punishment should fit the transgression, though if you wake up with a house full of shit well...then that is your fault.

Róis had to learn to control not only her gifts but her emotions as well, her mother’s influence seeming to affect her more than her father had first thought possible. Thankfully as the years past Róis seemed to take to her role as good, and sometimes better than any brownie her father had seen. The bright spirit, and skilled hands reminded them all of her mother, granted that in some ways worried them, especially when it came time to choose a side.

What none of them knew was Róis had heard of what happened to her mother, and had been trying to find out why she had turned and most of all why she had tossed her away. But that require her to venture further and further into the dark fae's territory for answers. Her father found out and begged her to stop searching, that she would never find an answer that would make her feel better about it all. But as Róis stood there debating her choice she couldn't help but think of her mother. They all missed her, but no one would tell her why or what happened. Feeling torn in two, all her life she had been with the light fae and they treated her well. But the only way to find the answers she wanted (and quite possibly the freedom), the answers she needed to understand the strange differences within her was to join the dark. So the young fae made the only choice she thought possible, and chose neither side. It was dangerous and her father was so disappointed in her, to this day he still ask if she has come to her senses.

The following years were hard, working back and forth over the lines drawn between the fae. Some hated her for it and spent a great deal of time trying to punish her for it. But they soon found that this was not the brownie you wanted to cross. She may not have had much combat skill, but you didn't need that when you had the skills to make someone’s life hell, especially when you could read what they wanted or feared most. Granted not all of her encounters ended so well. Róis one worked for a dark fae that left her scared in more ways they one, though surprisingly no one has seen him since she left his employment. Róis refuses to speak of it; in fact she does not share any secrets she has learned throughout her years. After all why should she share hers when her own family wouldn't tell her the truth?

Eventually by sheer chance Róis chose to begin caring for the Waystation, the patrons and its Keeper. Be it because it keeps her busy, because Aiden had helped her when she seemed to need it, or maybe it is that middle ground she has been searching for. Who knows, and Aiden hasn't tried to argue with the young Brownie (which is probably a good thing) so that is where she has remained for several years now.

Connections:
Father: Ahern Cuborn Brownie,  Light fae,  883 years old
Mother: Eilís Róis Cuborn Boggart, was light fae turned dark after her turning, 747 years old
Three older brothers (leaving it vague just in case someone wants to play one of her siblings)

Aiden Malone WayKeeper: She serves at the Waypoint.

OPEN TO ANY MORE!

It's not too late, and there's no rush at all, hun. And there's no worry on working into the group whenever you're ready.  If you post here when your sheet is done, it'll show up as a new button in my bookmarks, that's all. The reminder is really for Cerigo and me so we know to look for the sheet when it's ready ;)

History: Marcus was born into a life outside the normal, ever since he was little his parent instructed him into the ways of the world. He learned about the light and the dark fae from a very young age and knew that when he came to age he had to make a choice. Since little he started developing his strength and endurance, going into sports like boxing and the like he always seemed to win or he seemed to just endure a lot of punishment. His life was much like that until he graduated from high school and began going to college, however at the age of eighteen he had something to do, go through the process of choosing a side.

Since both of his parents were dark fae he had it easy, however the Gathering set upon him was nothing but hard. He was set to confront two underfae at the same time. Knowing full well how strong they were he was careful in fighting them however at the end he managed to beat the both of them with very strong punches that knocked them out before he could finish both of them. He was surprised after he passed the test as he declared his side, the dark!.

Some time later while out exploring the world thanks to some money from his parents as a reward. He visited a lot of places until he ended up in London that is where he met a young woman called Kali being the target of some crazed fae. Without thinking much on anything else he charged through and helped her beat the crazed fae which was pretty easy with his strength and a few good punches that often snapped their necks. The fight was over and she started telling him to wish something but he said no, he didn’t like making wishes for something he didn’t earn. That answer stuck with her as he left her to continue exploring.

Finally after awhile he set down on New York and got a job as a security guard as often as he could otherwise he continued doing jobs around the city as much as he could. He had enough for his small apartment and food when he needed to which made him happy. He often went around fixing peoples cars when he could as he worked at a car repair shop.

Still very much in the market for man flesh. I feel like I am about to have a revolt from all the women in the game if I do not deliver a sacrif-volunteer.

Please be advised that we are no longer accepting characters over 1000 until further notice. We have plenty of them in the game as it is and want to have a wider range of character ages.  ::)

It was funnier before the edit.  >:)

Yes, this game could use some more men. Lovely, wicked, a combination of the two...

Come game with us. ;)

Still looking for more delicious menfolk to stir up trouble with. We have a large game wide scene that's open to all happening right now, perfect for introducing new characters. Come play with us. You know you want to  ::)

I'm working on another male character. If not over 1,000 because it's no longer permitted, he'll have to be at least 1,000. I just need to work on a long-winded history.

We're getting to our first big reveal, but there's plenty of time to jump into the game and lots of great characters to interact with. Come on, I promise we don't bite ... unless you ask nicely ;)

Okay, Aiden's werewolf might bite, but that's to be expected  ::)
