OOC Thread

Vampires have revealed themselves to the human world.  Some human's accept them, others fear them and want them away from so they were given areas that had low populations that they could evacuate quickly and placed them there.  The vampires then put up high walls that were patrolled by trusted human's day and night.  There are six vampire colonies, one on each continent.

Vampire colonies

• Africa: Southern Algeria
• Asia: Eastern Central China
• Australia: Southern Central Area
• Europe: Northern Norway, Northern Sweden, Northern Finland
• North America: Quebec
• South America: Southern Chile

The North American Colony is the largest and the main colony of vampires.  The queen and a majority of the elders are located there, the rest in the other colonies.

As a deal to stay out of the areas not assigned, the government agreed to send people to them.  The people sent to them were criminals given the choice of prison, or serve their sentence out in one of the vampire colonies.  Prisoners aren't the only people to go there.  Some are volunteers, asking to be taken in, hoping that someday that they'll be turned into a vampire, or to just live among them.

Human Characters

• Food: Those placed in the food category are dangerous prisoners that are sent to them.  They are kept in cells, taken out for an hour each day and given three healthy meals a day to keep them healthy.  They have one pint of blood taken from them once a month to feed the vampires that don't have a personal servant.
• Personal Servant: Personal servants are the people that volunteer to come to a colony.  Vampires are not allowed to have a personal servant unless they have been a vampire for at least one hundred years.  If they are not roomed in the rooms with the vampire themselves, they are given quality rooms to sleep in.  They are responsible to serve their owners in any way they desire, from food to pleasure.  They are off limits to other vampires and should a vampire try at them, they are punished.
• Servant:  Servants are people that have volunteered or non dangerous prisoners that are sent to them.  The prisoners are kept in cells as well, but are brought out and watched until returned to their cells at the end of their shift.  Volunteers are given room and board as well as a paycheck.  They are responsible for cleaning the homes and offices of the vampires.  Servants may choose to be used as food, but if they say no, they are off limits.

Vampire Characters

• Queen: Ruler of the vampires.  (My Character)
• Elder's: They are the vampires below the queen.  They are given the power to dole out any punishments to the human or vampire's under their rule that break a law.
       -Elder's are deemed as such when they reach the age of five hundred
       -They become Senior Elder's at fifteen hundred
• Enforcers: They do the dirty work for the elders, such as carry out any death sentence on both human and vampire alike.  They also enforce the laws and turn in any law breakers into the elders
• Guards:  There are many tiers of guards
• Civilians: Civilians are the vampires that are above newborns, but have no special positions.  They help out where needed.
• Newborns:  Newborns are treated as humans.  They are servants until they hit their ten year mark, then they're freed.

All guards save for the Elite and potentially the protection guards are unimportant, mentioned but not played and anyone can control them.

• Elite:  The elite guards are the strongest of the guards.  They are responsible for protecting the queen and the elders from assassination attempts.
• Protection:  They are used if any vampires leave the colony to go to another.
• Human Guards: They watch over the human prisoners to make sure they do not escape, generally human's themselves.
• Border: They stand guard at the borders and bring the humans from the border to their assigned areas, again generally human's themselves.

Dhampir Characters

Dhampir's are a the children of a human and vampire pairing.  There are a group of vampires that think that the hybrids shouldn't exist, but a majority of the race accept them.  While they have enhanced physical and mental traits, they are no where near that of vampires.  They also have none of the vampire weaknesses and as such, most are used as the protection guards for vampires leaving the colony or to watch over vampires as they sleep to protect them.

Dhampirs can also have children, but only with humans, and most of the time, the child is human.  They may be a bit more stronger, faster, ect than humans, but they will have no need for blood.

For their first ten years, they age quickly, coming to full adult hood quickly, but after that, their aging slows down considerably and they live to between 1200 years and 1500 years.

Vampire Blood
-Bonds
     -A bond is formed between a human and a vampire when the human drinks the blood of a vampire.  The more blood they drink, the stronger the bond is.
     -The only way to break a bond between on vampire, is to bond them with another vampire.
     -Bonds can also be made between two vampires, though it's recommended for a vampire not to drink too much vampire blood.

-Healing Aspects
     -Vampire blood can be healing to both humans and vampires, though it leaves vampires weakened afterwards, so many choose to heal naturally.

Personality:Elizabeth is rarely seen as emotional.  She only shows emotion among her closest people, and even then it's rare.
Biography:Elizabeth was born to a poor farmer and his wife, the youngest child of seven.  She worked along side her family, happy to stay there.  Until she met the man that turned her into what she was.  A vampire.  He had changed her outlook on life.  He'd told her stories of his travels, people he'd met.  Then he'd told her what he was, offered to make her like him, take her along with him in his travels, making her his companion.

She left with him, though she returned home from time to time to visit with her family until it seemed odd to them that she was still so young, then she left letters for them, letting them know how she was.

Her sire was killed after just a few centuries after her turning.  She found each of his killers, and she showed them the same mercy they'd showed her sire.  None.  After that, she took over her sire's place as ruler of the vampires and never looked back.

Twenty years prior to current date, after many years of debate, she gave the order to reveal themselves to the world.  In the six years afterwards, there were a lot of vampires killed, so Elizabeth struck a deal with the governments of the world to have sections of land in each continent so that her people could be safe from the people wanting them dead and the killings slowed to only a rare killing, leaving her people feeling safer.

Elizabeth had seen a lot in her 3000 years.  She'd been betrayed a lot, nearly killed just as much.  As a result of that, she doesn't trust many people.  The list contains the elders, her elite guards, her lover, and a few of her human servants.

Physical Description: Not a tall young woman at 5' 3" but one with luscious curves. Her master has given her several piecing in places like her clit and nipples as well as tattoos, including "Slut" on her ass and "Daddy's Girl" above her vulva. With her long dark hair and pale skin, she is the physical embodiment of a vampire's plaything.

Personality: Her five years of being captive to a vampire has turned Brittany into a submissive slave. She'll do anything to please her master, whom she lovingly calls her "Daddy." She is broken to the point that she willing stays in a cage even though by this point she is trusted enough to have a room. Brittany is in awe of vampires and would love to join their ranks. She is terrified of doing anything that would cause her to fall out of favor and can become intensely jealous of other servants. Her only other pleasure is the household dogs that she dotes on, seeing them as kindred spirits in their unconditional loyalty.

Biography: Brittany had a terrible childhood with no father around and a mother too high to care about her. She fell in with a bad crowd and when she was eighteen her boyfriend killed a clerk in a robbery. As she was an accessory Brittany was given life in prison. Her attractiveness and willingness to follow orders was noticed by the warden and she was sent to the vampire colony in Quebec. She did everything she could to stay in her master's good graces lest she become food.  Over time this obedience turned into dependence, she was addicted to please her master. She gladly let him have his way with her and mark her body as he wished, as it belonged to him. Recently Brittany was promoted to personal servant in spite of her status as a prisoner as she was so docile. She cherishes her position and will do anything to keep it.

Physical Description: Posessing the powerful frame of a warrior, Rakesh is of persian descent, turned in his prime, around thirty five. A scar marrs his right brow, a badge of a battle fought and won at great cost. His eyes are dark, filled with barely contained violence.

Personality: Reknowned for his feiry temper, and militaristic outlook, Rakesh is often dismissed as little more than a musclehead. While it is undoubtedly true that he possesses something of a maverick streak, you don't last as long as he has without a certain degree of intellect or cunning. With a reputation for callous tyranny, he inspires a degree of fear amongst the bloodbags and youngbloods that few others can match.

Rakesh has lived so long, that he tends to view anything or anyone too new or youthful as inconsequential/transient. He expects discipline, and has no qualms instilling it through any means he deems appropriate. Though he is fully aware of current social norms, he has a certain bias towards the ways of old.

Biography: Immortals, they had been called. What a cruel joke that was. It was at thermopylae that they first encountered the real deal. His brothers died in their thousands, cut down by a mere three hundred of Greece's finest, for what chance did men have against those monsters? For three days, the battle raged, the spartan bloodsuckers exacting a fearful toll, rank after rank marching forward only to be cut down, like chaf before the scythe.

He'd gone by a different name back then. Rakesh - lord of the full moon, that had come later. He fought in that hell, and when the time came, he had died in it, one of a small group of foolhardy idiots tasked to flank via a hidden pass. The last thing he remembered, cut off from his brothers, had been their spears finding him, his blood mixing with that of friend and foe alike in the muck.

How he came to rise again is a mystery unlikely ever to be solved. When he did, however, the battle was over, and he was not only whole again, but far greater. Stronger, faster, tougher. Just like the Spartans had been.

But Xerxes campaign was ultimately doomed, eventually meeting decisive defeat at Salamis. The war spluttered to a messy end, the persians forced into retreat, with nothing to show for it save the scars, and maybe a few greek slaves to salve their dissapointments.

Elevated to a lord by the king, Rakesh spent several hundred years as a minor deity, guardian of a crumbling empire. By the time the Roman's took over, little remained of it's former glory, and Rakesh had long since tired of playing lord. So he left them to it, becoming just another shadow of history.

When he finally re-emerged, it was to become an elder of Elizabeth's council. If vampires were done skulking in the shadows, then so too was he.

Physical Description: Heather is a tall statuette woman at six foot three inches in bare feet.   One might say intimidating appearance.  For she likes to wear high heels and not low ones either all of her heels are at least six inches.   Natural dirty blonde with hazel eyes.   Enjoys dressing in short mini skirts and dresses.  Bustiers, corsets and bondage harnesses.  Showing off her long legs.  In all she has a amazon like quality to her. 

Personality: Physically in appearance Heather seems a flamboyant woman with a wild streak.    That rocks outrageous attire and seems so very confident.    Yet underneath is a woman that is shy, reserve in getting close to others.   As she uses her imposing height for a woman and outrageous style of dressing as armor to shock others from approaching her.   As it hides a lack of confidence in herself with getting intimate with others.   Which leads to a strong powerful submissive quality that gives her a inner strength, even through most times she is afraid to act on such.

Biography:  Heather started writing when in college during her sophomore year at Tulane in New Orleans.    Writing paranormal exotic romance novels.   Her first book was 'Legacy Enslaved'.  For the next eleven years she produced fourteen more paranormal romance novels.     A majority of her work was about vampires.   Just like her very first novel.    Despite the fact she wrote it entirely in how she imagine vampires to be.   For some nine years prior to her writing the first novel  the race of vampires revealed themselves to the world.  A truth is out there that she has ignored. A truth revealed when she was but ten years old.   A truth that has been burning in her to be found out from that first day she heard about the vampire race. 

At first sales took off and people could not get enough of reading about vampires and their lovers.    Yet  with the vampire race revealed.   Her work seem hollow to her.   It though would sparked a muse with in her.    A change in direction and desire.   Who knew the truth,  reportedly there is a queen of the vampires.   A queen that reportedly is over two thousand years old.  No one knows for sure, or how she or any of the vampires came to be.    Was it a curse by god, natural evolution of humanity.   A freak genetic mutation.    The questions began to linger in her and fester with a growing curiosity.

Then opportunity knocks on the door for Heather.   A chance to become a personal servant to a vampire.  Such happen six years ago.   It would take her the six years to build the courage to take such a leap.   Oh she looked the part with her amazon picaresque statuette quality.   Still she is shy and meek with intimacy.   An vampires are intimate beings.     Still the chance of a life time is at hand.   For Heather Lovecraft wanted to transform from paranormal romance author to writing the autobiography of the so called queen.   For such a being would have seen it all, the rise and fall of kingdoms,  nations and empires.   Could possibly know the origins of the vampire race.   An this need to do such allows her the courage to basically enslave herself to a vampire in being his or her personal servant. 

It all for ultimate goal of getting close and learning of the life of the queen of all vampires.   The world needs her story.   Yet it can be more it is about the awakening and growth of Heather herself.

Physical Description: Kasdeya is a lethal dark skinned beauty, standing at just over 5'9 her form is voluptuous in the right places. Around her ribs you can see signs that as a human she suffered from hunger. Sinfully sexy she is not above using her body to get what she needs. Kasdeya is also deceptively strong, even as a human she had toned muscles in her arms and legs.
Personality: Strength, Loyalty and killer instincts. Three things that describe Kasdeya in a nut shell. When not at the queen's side or doing her bidding the ancient female takes time relaxing, she loves learning about new technology and is rather intellectual on a wide range of topics. Not one to turn down a few drinks or a shopping spree. Kasdeya also really likes motorbikes and tinkering with them so more often then not you will find her working on a project.
Biography: Born into a poor family in a tiny slum village in Africa, a baby had been the last thing the couple had wanted and Kasdeya felt the lack of love from the moment she was born. Her mother gave her a crumb or two of bread to last her a day, all the food was given to her father. He was a mean hearted man and from an early age used little Kasdeya sexually. She was lucky in a way not to get pregnant. Every day she would have to walk miles for dirty water that made them sick, eventually it killed of her mother and it fell to the young child to clean and cook and of course give herself to her father.

She couldn't have been older then ten when she ran away. There village was on the outskirts leading to miles and miles of desert land, with no food and no water it was only a matter of time before the child collapsed. Fortune if you want to look at it that way smiled upon her for a gentleman of high society had been traveling that very day. He took her in, fed her, clothed her, educated her and didn't ask for a thing in return.

Kasdeya couldn't remember when she realized he wasn't human, something about the way he watched her with an odd look like hunger in his eyes. The way he didn't appear to eat and sleep through the the day. Eli trained Kasdeya in sharpening her mind, in using her whole body as a weapon and in the use of every weapon known to mankind. "One day I shall have you take my place next to the anointed one" he would always tell her. After many years together Eli turned her and introduced her as his heir, not long after he walked into the sun.

Vampiric Powers: Uncommon: Flying, Telekinesis, Auspex, Shape Shifting. Rare: Illusionist, Air Element (Wind, Lightning, Sky).
Physical Description: Wallace is 5'8" tall and weights 195lb. His blonde hair reaches almost past his shoulders and he usually wears it in a messy bun or ponytail. Coming from the age were fashion was born, Wallace has a weakness for ruffles, silk and lace, but he's changed his looks through time. Black is his color, because who doesn't like drama, though he also enjoys wearing some white and red once in a while. You'll find him wearing fitting jeans or leather pants, shirts and button-up shirts along with long, elegant coats.
Personality: He's lighthearted and fun, with little to no worries unless he's been given a task to accomplish. Still a bit stuck with the beautiful things of his time, he loves classic theater and music, but you can certainly find him at any of the best nightclubs in the area.
Wallace doesn't interact much with the human population brought to the vampires' service but his in general a very social person with his own kind.
Biography: Wallace was 36 years old when he was turned into a vampire and his life before that event matters little for him. He was the younger son of a noble family and he was practically given to the church when he was a teen. He never had a hard day's work in his life, and even when he was under the wing of a severe priest, he was never mistreated. Thankfully for him, Wallace showed certain characteristics that proved him worthy of a new task the church was taking care of. Wallace had an inquisitive mind, he liked to ask questions and knew when truth was told to him. With some years of training, he was sent out to the villages, hunting witches in the name of the church.
In one of those villages, the rumor was that a witch was taking blood from several villagers every night. People feared to go out at night, they didn't want their blood to be taken and then used to control and posses them. And so, Wallace was sent there, alone for the first time, to investigate. He heard all the stories and decided the only way to find out more about this witch was to stay out at night, and 'hope' she would appear.
Something did appear, but it wasn't a witch. It was a man, or at least looked like one. Wallace had read a lot in his life, and from the dark tales of the past, a word came to him. Vampyr, by the old tongues of the western countries. Yes, he was in front of one, and what a marvelous creature it was.

He lived with his creator and mentor for over a century before leaving to see the world on his own. Wallace never returned to his sire, though they've seen each other a few times after his departure.

Years passed, and around 1887, Wallace returned to London to once again rejoice in the arts and fashion of his native city. After travelling all around the world for years, he was desperate to breath the thick and humid air of London. And, most than anything he needed to feel he belonged somewhere, and open pastures and deserts weren't his thing. He was made for the city after all, he was in love with the lights and the new machinery. And he was in love with himself, of course, there was no better place for him to be that somewhere where he could stand on the spotlight and let everyone know he was there, while hiding his true nature.

With the twentieth century and all its revolutionary changes, Wallace went across the ocean to discover a entirely new American continent than when he'd been the first time. From the Patagonia to the frozen shores of Canada, the blonde vampire found renewed joy in traveling until his eyes set on the marvelous architecture of New York, where he established himself for some time.

By the time his kind opened to the world Wallace decides to stay in the Canadian colony instead of going back to Europe.

Personality: Sabre is all about getting the job done.  He is very lax on letting people in thinking if someone gets close again, some other monster will get in and take them away.  So he will seem to be cold, calculating, aloof.  But he is full aware of his intimidation factor and his other worldly skills.
Biography: Sighs….I have no idea why I am writing this crap!  No one would believe it anyway or they would probably try to make it in to some low budget tween movie.  But here goes.  I am Gabriel Stone.  To friends I am Gabe, to enemies I am Sabre, to those that I defend, I am the Archangel.  Truth be told I am a vampire.  I have been alive for roughly 500 years.  I have seen societies rise and fall.  To most I am beneath them, being of African heritage causes other to over look me, under estimate me.  Both which generally work to my advantage.  It allows me to do what must be done, be where none expect me to be and leave without a trace.
I was young when I first laid eyes on her, I had no idea of who and what she was.  I would find out later, I had no idea of when or how I had caught her eye.  Maybe she saw something in me worth saving or at least worth keeping.  I was battered, broken and bloodied but I refused to give up saving my family.   Even when they burned our home down, I still moved to fight.
She noticed my strength and taught me to be more than my vengeance, she helped me to learn that time was on my side and vengeance would always be mind if I learned the skills she had to teach.
It was through a torrent of passion that she made me, she made me to become her warrior.  She gave me back my life much later.  I am forever in her debt.
I traveled to many places meeting many others, applying both my skills and my craft.  It took easily 50 years to master a number of skills, twice that to become more than adept to make it my own. 

During that time, home summoned me back from half a world away and reluctantly.  I went, despite my misgivings.  I hated that this place always had me wrapped around her finger and it angered me.  But the call of the Bayou is much too hard to reject.  I recognize that my people and life are so much needed here in the states.  Today life has changed but my but my role of protector it remains the same, but my methods have changed as well, in this new century.
