Agreed. I tried to write up my Nightcrawler history to avoid mentioning anyone other than Xavier by name so that anyone who wants to use a different character can age them and use them however they want and make them look/age however they want.

For the record anyone I have made an NPC is fair game to mention.

Nick Fury assembled the Avengers in the early 2000's and will be available for connections with them as will Iron Man.

Charles started the X-Men and X-Mansion in the '80's and remained headmaster ever since. Naturally available for ties with any X-Men.

They are both fairly 'classic' takes on the characters. Nick is very serious/focused/dedicated and Charles is very wise/compassionate/intelligent.

I love the idea of playing three sisters that could read each other's thoughts--but not other characters' thoughts (unless they want to open their minds for listening).

I'd like to claim Dryad and use Felicia Day as a Faceclaim for her. While they probably have the technology they need to be able to keep up with growing food and all that, I think someone who is a Chlorokinesis could come in handy for a city that has very limited access outside the wall. Plus, she can probably feel how polluted the world is getting outside and feel the way Ultron is affecting the planet as a whole.

If not, I will look into someone else.

Do the connections have to be only the people they are friends with in the comic books or can we make up connections between people?

From what I recall is you could create connections that happen outside of any canonical happenings just have to speak with the player of the characters you are interested in.
