You can't make up any connections without speaking to the writer of that character and you can't make up background for characters who haven't been taken yet. E.g. Wolverine can't be mentioned because nobody is writing him and if someone does I want them to have freedom to do what they want with him.

It's generally best to wait until after approval then reach out to the other writers to seek connections.

A recommendation I would make is to - if you really want to 'use' a character - use vagueness. Instead of saying Logan or Wolverine say 'A clawed mutant'. It's 'probably' him but if someone writes him and it doesn't fit with their vision then it's easy to say that 'clawed mutant' could have been someone else.

I apologize for falling silent... We ended up with a large 8-plex apartment project and my days largely became eat, sleep and work... However we've finished it and I can finally go back to a regular set of work hours. I'm still up for Xavin and possibly a second character if you'll still have me...
