@Phantompistoleer: As Tidal Pool is 100 hovel shanty "village", there is not much you can spend your loot at, right? Atleast Aishah will be selling potions in the town to other groups.. and maybe even crafting some wonderous items :)

Adventure company Crimson Dawn is looking for 1 person ...  IF from Arabia, good, if not, its no problem, but needs some "story hook" how s/he have been hired. (and class/skill wise, if the character is from Arabia, anything goes.. if not, then some sneaky type, scout, whatnot as company would be hiring that kind of person)

Looking for a strangely dual eyed wizard? One from the north?

Well, wizard (very human like) would be great addition, but our company is quite militant and lawful (dogmatic), so if Nisha can trust Witch..after being encountered Hag in her past....and can follow somewhat strict ways of the Desert?

Party update-

Silim's Android Psychic and Raku's Human Fighter have joined up with my Tiefling Bard so far, and Muse is working on something that I don't know what it is yet. D-did I accidently a harem for my tiefling?

If you're down for a fifth I can have something up later today!

The GM NPC is specifically at TIDAL POOL in order to buy, sell, and trade all sorts of items at a fair price.  You may undercut him, obviously, but I don't recommend doing it through crafting.  Crafting takes months.

Another question: How do you feel about crafting characters? (Sorry for so many.)

I am bouncing between a paladin, and a gun chemist alchemist.

Crafting is acceptable, but you may not enter the game with items crafted already and I am not going to speed up the crafting process as per RAW.  Your character should be more focused on adventuring, but you may build whatever character you want.  You may find that you have few opportunities to work on your stuff, though.  That's just me trying to be a friendly GM--not that I have anything against crafting.

As a matter of fact, you could HIRE crafters, build your own lodge, and have them work out of it.  You could start off with a bunch of hirelings who are there to start building your district.

Miroque, your party is almost ready to start.  Just a quick note: I am usually not a prolific poster during the weekends, but I will start your IC thread maybe as soon as tomorrow.

Silim

You can craft "on the road" at half speed at least, so simpler wondrous items will be craftable on the road. Just maybe not 50k+ items, cause those would take 100 days if working at half speed...

GM NOTICE:

Actually, I started the IC thread for Miroque's CRIMSON DAWN party here.

Additionally, I started an OOC thread for everyone who has been accepted here.

This should probably be in the CC thread, but RECRUITMENT DRIVE! Join the Winning team! Choose House Nox!

Surely I can't be the only villainous bastard out there. Join the dark side. We're just cooler...

You don't even have to be evil. That's what slave collars are for. We'll keep you in line. ^,..,^

Davriel Nox

Race: Dhampir/human
Class: Eldritch Knight
Adventuring Party: House Nox

Brief History:

Born from the union between mortal and vampire, the children of House Nox are expected to compete with each other to survive, prove their excellence, and win the recognition of their tyrannical vampire progenitors. The vampire lords encourage infighting and intrigue, using it as a means to weed out the weak, and temper the strong, with the very best of each generation being allowed to join their undead ranks. Only those who have been turned can be considered to be true Lords of Nox. Scions have much greater status than most mortals, who the vampires view as little better than cattle, but ultimately, they are disposable. It is in this environment that Davriel has been raised. Only the strongest survive the crucible that is growing up in house Nox, and Davriel is one such individual.

Brief Personality:

Children of Nox rarely survive until adulthood unless they prove themselves tough, intelligent, and stubborn, and Davriel is no exception. His experiences growing up have left their mark on him, leaving him a dark, cold personality, and an air of confidence that borders on arrogance. He is decisive, but pragmatic, and possesses the same deep sadistic streak that plagues many a Dhampir.

O/O:

Bondage, Discipline, Slavery, Objectification, Bloodplay, Humiliation, Predator/prey - Davriel prefers the harder end of kink. Being part vampire, Feisty submissives appeal to his predatory instincts.

Connections:

Currently seeking fellow champions of darkness, mercenaries, slaves, and rivals

@Firepyre: Tidal Pool (having like 6 buildings.. + hovels) might be a bit small for Crimson Dawn and House Nox ... you might not want open evilry at the start.. (ergo Rivalry)

I think we'll fit in just fine.

On a more serious note, I'm open to a rivalry between Nox and Crimson Dawn. Wouldn't be all that strange for House Nox to have played a part in the downfall of the Al-Faris Dynasty. Though maybe wait and see if House Nox actually manages to get off the ground first. Bit of a moot point if there aren't enough people interested in joining.

Im open rivalry aswell, but hope you get.your crew tohether first.

PhantomPistoleer

I like the idea of a rivalry.

However, please let it be something like a wrestling match where you guys all actually like one another and are just putting on a show rather than there being any animosity between you.

@Phantompistoleer: When does that happen in RPGs? I meen, characters #1 way to deal with opposition is ?
Thats why in town of 100, two powerful/skilled teams that dislike each other, will result in Highnoon... 8/10, 1/10 indians attack... 1/10 outsider comes to town and uses each side against each other for his own profit...

Thats like most western movie plots..

Well, if it's high noon you're after, you might want to get comforable.

Speaking of getting comfortable, does the Green Dragon have rooms available? I'll take the best you can offer, naturally. Might need a place to bunk while I'm waiting on the rest of my party to arrive.

Yes.  The Green Dragon Inn does have rooms available, now that you mention it.  It's an inn.

Excellent. House Nox could use a base of operations. At least until we get ourselves properly established. A couple of months, at least. And there really doesn't seem to be much else in the way of options.

Would be a real pity if we couldn't all get along and share the only inn, don't you think?

Latooni Subota

Team Evil and Team Arabia scuffling over who can get to the macguffin first ., . .

. . . and then out of nowhere Team Fortune is already there with a big flag planted that says "Razitown".

  Well she's got me!

I just don't know if i should be building a girl or a guy?  i think if Latooni wants a girl i'll go a dervish dancing cleric of saranrae and if she wants a guy I'll do an elven eldritch knight.

Pretty predictable concepts from me, right?  One day I'll get to play them to my satisfaction!
