Zaer Darkwail

As a question/request, would you allow the use of Celestial Commander archetype for summoner? The idea is I do use unchained summoner but I want this archetype as it focuses exclusively on the summon monster than eidolon aspect. Archetype though is a third party published archetype.

Twin Oxenbridge
Human Wizard X

Twin Oxenbridge is an extremely long-lived human who appears to be in his mid-twenties.  He is a wizard of great renown who operates out of various enchanted fortifications in the DARK CONTINENT'S only settlement, TIDAL POOL.  Perhaps it is unfair to call TIDAL POOL a settlement, as it is composed mostly of temporary primitive shelters surrounding Twin's GREEN DRAGON INN.

At the GREEN DRAGON INN, adventurers can obtain quests, barter equipment and artifacts, or communicate with the outside world.  As a powerful wizard, Twin has access to a vast repository of weapons and magical equipment, which he sells at market rates.  Honest and dependable, many adventurers place their loot in his care for safekeeping.

Though he has many excellent qualities, Twin is a terrible womanizer.

Twin is not available for adventuring parties, but PCs are free to know him how they please.  He has no interest in government or terrestrial power.

Interesting NPC you got there...

Anyone planning on leading an adventuring company so far beyond our arabian nights inspired troupe? That'll narrow down the notes I doodle down on if I want to make a leader-type or not eventually.

Latooni Subota

I'm tentatively batting around a tiefling bard leader-type.

To answer your question, I do not allow third-party material.

Your request to use third-party material is denied.

C'mon, Zaer.

Don't worry about him.  He is just there to help smooth the wrinkles of adventuring in a foreign place.

"Oh, you need a cart?  You'll either have to build it or you will have to wait for a shipment.  How long will it take for you to build a cart?  Well, ::checks::, approximately two weeks.  How long will it take for a shipment to arrive?  Well, a shipment arrives tomorrow, but your cart won't be aboard it.  We'll send message with the captain that you need a cart, and the ship will come back around in about a month."

Edit:  He's also there because he can cast tentacle spells.  o_o

C'mon, Zaer.

I just had to ask for the possibility to allow it in as that was the initial idea :P. Atm leaning towards Warpriest, as a question; if the class does not have knowledge (all) as a class skill, what classes or what way you can get knowledge (tactics) as a class skill? Besides feat or trait which allows picking any knowledge skill as a class skill?

As you said, feat or trait.

It's a tremendous ability that could grant you huge bonuses multiple times per day for free.  It's like the spell BLESS on crack.

Trait : Secret knowledge
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/religion-traits/secret-knowledge/

And summoner would fit perfectly to Arabian Nights type of party... with Eidolon of course :) as they are sooooo nice comppanions... (and if you want to go with Monster Summoning route, you can always take Master Summoner archtype right?) Or was that divine thing your forte? There is that Divine Summoner archtype... // but Summoner, if any, is "zookeeper" class.. (but actually I love it.. even if Gm dislikes them :))

Zaer Darkwail

Thanks Miroque, that trait even fits thematically :)

AND if you take Omen (religion trait) which gives pretty nice combo... just saying...

I can't say I hate your enthusiasm, Miroque.  LOL.

But at least assemble your crew in your messages.  The game isn't technically open for CCs yet, and I don't want people to suddenly feel harried to submit CCs yet.

But now that I think about it, I'm not sure what's stopping me from accepting CCs.  So I guess now is as good a time as any.

True I know the system but I do not always remember everything out of hand ;). But ok, move the discussion of a possible team up to PM's. Also, sheet if any comes later.

Aishah Sabri, Ibnat Abni Al-Faris

Race: Human
Class: Witch (4)
Brief History: Aishah is an daughter of Sheik Al-Faris, and she lived life of an princess in the dune palace. At her 15th birthday, she was given an profecy by the wisemen, that she would endure great harm and pain, but would emmerge as First among many. Like all profesies, it was clouded with mysteries. Few years later,  when her fathers lands was over run by marauding army of desert riders and goblins, she was forced to flee. She witnessed from afar the devastation of her homeland, and during her escape into the night, the Desert's spirit granted her powers over elements. With these powers, and the spirts guidance, she would gain strength and power, to reclaim her lands.

Brief Personality: Devout and driven. Aishah has passionate heart, but she is driven to success, with all costs. She will do her best to keep her word, if she gives it, but will not do so easily.

O/O: Virgin, so no idea what she likes or dislikes in sexual context. (player's O/O is wide open and anything goes, except Gore/Vore in sexual context, as its just not sexual... )

Adventuring Party: Forming one

Connections:  Is your CC seeking connections with other characters?
  • Sibling (Might work, another escapee from the destruction..)
  • Love interest (of course, dynasty must prevail...Maybe arranged marriage that did never happened?)
  • Friend (someone that she met, along the way .. or someone from back home?)
  • Other (Someone from the same clan, or loyal to her family)

    Adventuring Company: Crimson Dawn
Captain:  Aishah Sabri, Ibnat Abni Al-Faris

Name of Party Members:  (Zaer's unnamed warpriest), open for others that fint arabian nights theme enticing

Purpose of Adventuring Company: Gain money and power to reclaim Al-Faris lands from marauders and goblins. New continent is full of riches.

Bylaws of Adventuring Company: Royal Hierarchy. backstabing and working against the ultimate goal is punishable by fate worse than death.

Distribution of Loot:  Shares. 2 shares goes to uphold the company, 3 to captain, 2 to second in command, Able bodied get 1, rookes get ½, until deemed Ablebodied (commonly on second mission)

Posting Frequency: daily would be prefered, but life might intervene.
LOL, three shares to the captain, eh?

I would like for Aishah to have known the GM NPC, Twin Oxenbridge.  Here is my pitch: Twin once came to Aishah's father, Sheik Al-Faris, and warned him of a great danger in his future.  Twin was happy to share all of what he foresaw, if only the Sheik would surrender his daughter, Aishah, to him.  The Sheik offered Twin anything but his daughter, but the wizard would not accept anything else.  When his kingdom fell, Twin appeared before Aishah once again.  He helped her escape the city, but in exchange, he acquired a boon from the princess.

@Phantompistoleer: Im okay with Aishah owning an boon to the local wizard.. that would be good way for her and (zaers unnamed warpriest) to be on this new continent aswell.

All right, your CC looks good.  You may work on your sheet.

I think it might be difficult to restrict your party thematically to an Arabian Nights theme, since your witch could have met people from different places along her travels.

Is it weird that I want to double-down on the whole half-naked melee character thing, despite how awkward it is to try and ramp up defense for a bard without armor? I don't naturally get Mage Armor/Shield, so I suppose I could dig through traits/feats to get defensive spells added to my spell list . . . but I have the weirdest desire to dip into scaled fist and be a Lawful Good monk/bard using dance-fu.

I just want to have my cute tiefling wearing dancing silks instead of armor, but still be able to not get wrecked in combat, is that so wrong? :(

Once I figure out exactly what type of monk I want to build I'll get a proper CC up.
