I know this part will be disappointing for most of you, and it definitely wasn't fun for me. There was a mind-boggling 22 interested players, and without lying or exaggerating one bit, I would have very gladly chosen ANY of those applications -- they were all fantastic, well-thought, and interesting. I know some of you have already invested quite a bit of yourselves in this thread and building the game world, and it REALLY sucks I must leave some of you hanging, but... so it goes! There's only so much of one DM (and one princess) to go around.

To maybe somewhat illustrate my difficulty in choosing just four players, my initial shortlist of "only the ones I'd REALLY like to welcome in a heartbeat" was 16 people. Yeahhhh, there were a lot of very, very grueling decisions to be made!

Anyway, I guess there's no use prolonging it further, so let's just rip off the band-aid, shall we? I'd like to welcome to the party (in alphabetical order)...

It is a rather strange sensation to both be elated and disappointed so much, because I honestly wanted to see how some of the myriad other characters would have played out in the story alongside of, or instead of, my own character.

Thank you to all the classy people who've been so friendly and supportive to Snowdrop, and I hope to play with many of you some other time. Hopefully sooner than y'all think.
