You’re fleeing through the Nevada desert night in an old Dodge muscle car. The AC is broken, and the hot desert wind is rushing through the windows. The fuel gauge is on empty, and you expect the engine to fail any minute now.

The last job was supposed to be simple. Find the son of a bitch who'd sent a dozen men, women, and children to an early grave - and put him down. But you stumbled into something big. Cultists and chants and nightmare creatures. Blood and bullets. One of you is in the back with a bullet wound that would drop a charging rhino and everyone is keeping an eye on the road behind you.

Up ahead you see a shitty roadside gas station and diner. The semis in the parking lot should have been condemned the 80's. The diner in the 50s. If anything there works you'd be surprised. It hasn't met an Osha or health code that it hasn't found new and unique ways to violate it. If you had any options about where to stop you'd take it.

Hello, all. Sith Chicken here. Going to try my hand at running a group game again. The game this time? CJ Carella's Witchcraft or - as it is more widely known - Unisystem. The system for AFMBE, Armageddon, Terra Primate, Conspiracy X 2.0, and the Buffy and Angel games. If you aren't familiar with the system or setting that is okay. I will teach you.

All you need is the Witchcraft corebook. Which is free. Click on the title. It takes you right to it. That is the corebook of the game. You can be anything from that book. A Witch, a psychic, a necromancer, a saint, a magical shapeshifting cat, or even someone with no magic at all. However there are other books to this game and its companion series Armageddon. Each introducing new magics and supernatural creatures - and if you have those books you can play them!

The game itself will start with the scenario I put up there but. You are all running from an event that went terribly wrong. The event in question involves white supremacists, nazis, radical evangelicals, and strange gods. If fighting such people bothers you this game is not for you. Sex will be involved. On my end it will be mostly used as a world detail. I might occasionally write a sex scene but only if there is some plot importance to it. However I will have a separate thread for any players who would like some sexy times.

The game category will be set to Extreme mostly for the violence and disturbing imagery and topics. I will be using the RPG Consent Form to cover our bases. We will be using Heroic Templates to make the characters ie The Gifted, Lesser Gifted, Mundane, and Lesser Supernatural  templates.

After some discussion we will be using the diceless variation of the system. All this does is replace dice with cards but it gives you a hand of cards and you can choose how well you do at what time. This is great because I can give each player their hand and we don't have to worry about the die roller. It is literally easier than the base dice system.

Zoey seemed too principled for the Rosicrucians. Their Privilege might get on their last nerve. I’m debating the best Covenant for Ember. The detachment of the Cabal of Psyche would grate on an action-oriented type like Ember. Twilight Order or Wicce?

On the matter of dice, can I suggest dealing, say, 6 cards per participant at the start of the game and PMing them the results:P? Witchcraft had this suggested as an option, I remember. And I've found it to be a time-saver on forums.

Some of her Hawthorne relatives could be Rosicurians while most of the Coopers sound more Wicce..

I could see Vince as a Rosicrucian, Cesar & Mark as Sentinels, and Samara as a Solitaire.

Ember identifies with the Social Justice-minded orientation of Wicce, but might thrive more in growing her powers among other Seers.

Considering I have health issues (and stress issues from a pandemic that will almost certainly kill me if I catch it) I don't expect a huge time commitment because I can't promise a huge time commitment. So this will be casually paced.
