The Phoenix is permitted a human form—I imagine most people wanting to play a mythical creature will probably follow this example, considering I doubt they’ll want to write an animal or beast the entire game. That would certainly make socializing a little awkward!

I was thinking about a succubus who works the peep show, gathering her sustenance from the ambient erotic energy generated by the audience. She's damned because of her former life where she tormented prostitutes, gay women and men and basically anyone who enjoyed physical love. She is capable of feeling love for another, but is cursed to take their soul if she does fall in love. She is often commanded to seduce and destroy certain individuals who may come to the circus or reside nearby where the circus performs.

If you think she would fit in, I'll make up a full character and send it to you for your approval.

Hey sweets, glad to have your interest! Don’t be discouraged, the game is designed to be relatively inclusive and give the writers ample opportunity to work their way in. You’re welcome to come up with your own Freakshow act, but by all means don’t shy away from considering a Carnie, or Spectator, ad these roles can have just as much impact on this game.

No rush, glad to have your interest in any case. It always makes me happy when my unusual ideas have such an awesome reception.

We surely have room for a Naga type, or large serpent shapeshifter character! I’m fond of the idea of a super elastic or gifted contortionist as well. Don’t shy away from the concept of “gifted humans”, they can be just as entertaining as a supernatural type.

A few more rough ideas, if anyone is struggling for inspiration:

Lamia, Medusa, Fury, Nephilim or Fallen Angel, Giant/Giantess, Puppetmaster, Conjoined Twins/Supernatural Twins, Elf (Alternately, a character with albinism), a Mimic who may assume the appearance of other beings.

Aw man, poi performers are the coolest! I’m glad you like the Living Dead Girl character concept, but we presently do have a writer who’s reserved the position.

I was actually considering making the Seer blind, and I figured the character is likely a psychic :-/

Hmm considering a witch, she is a carnie. Sells her potions and services to those that visit the carnival. But really is the carnival's doctor.

I had an idea for a lamia/snake shifter type as well. But I can easily back burner that since it's already been suggested.
