Ho boy, right, the random rolls. Also, I picked the name and birthplace, given that the book doesn't keep up with my nerding out over dwarfs, and wrote up a short backstory. Fluff: Okri is a powerfully built dwarf, strong and tall, hailing from the Grey Mountains. While runesmithing was his birthright by his clan, he spent his young years following in his father's footsteps instead, one of the rangers that kept the Grey Mountains clear of greenskins and safe for travel. He and a cousin roamed through the mountains, retrieving lost travellers, chasing off stray goblins, and keeping tabs on a local giant, in general having their fill of adventure under the open sky. It wasn't until well into his thirties that Okri settled down, once his mother had reminded him that some of his ways were downright unseemly for a dwarf of his eventual stature, insisting that he take his hereditary craft seriously.

Even then he's never lost the love of travel, gregarious and hard-drinking, equally ready to spin tales of his past adventures with his beloved cousin as he is to get into a friendly brawl or flirt with the nearest tavern girl. He has travelled regularly during his apprenticeship, sometimes to other holds to consult with various masters or elsewhere to fetch the esoteric tools and supplies used in the forging of runes. It was on one of these expeditions up north into the Empire when news arrived of the strange comet that struck Mordheim. Even an ordinary deposit of some kind of star metal would have warranted investigation, and this one was more fantastic than most he'd heard of. He canceled his previous errand, making his way to the city with all possible haste.

He looks good.

Background:
Susi was born in Weissbrück where she lived on top of the family's business the ale house "Heavy Seas Alehouse". The alehouse had a good reputation and was situated by the docks at the Weissbrück Canal, a busy transport junction in the empire. So the family did well. As the youngest of the siblings in a group of five, it was always hard for Susi to fit in so she found other things to do than do the daily work she should be doing. Because of this, Susi quickly had a reputation as a troublemaker and someone that the parents warned her children to stay away from.

When Susi became older she found a way of keeping the troublemaking at bay. She started reading. She had found one of the families cooking books and this had made her curious as to what the world had to offer. She started with some small stuff culinary experiments but quickly found the bar food tedious. Susi had to sneak off to the other side of the road where she stated to help out in the inn. This had made her father very upset since the owner of the inn was the fathers biggest rival. The whole situation had made Susi aware of the fact that she needed new inspiration and perhaps Weissbrück was not big enough for the halfling. It took her nearly a year to persuade her father into letting her leave to study at the Altdorf royal university and after an endless amount of nagging he finally gave in. What else could he do? The girl clearly had no intention of getting married. So after a lot of well-meant good advice from her father and a lot of sobbing from her mother Susi took a canal boat to the capital city.

The big city life was just what Susi needed. She met new friends - a lot of new friends. There were so many people to meet here and Susi had a place for everyone. She had rented a tiny apartment where there were always guests and people dropping by. Susi's place was the normal gathering spots for a lot of students in Altdorf. Susi had a lot of new inspiration in her life. She read a lot of books. She started to slowly get the feeling that she had back in her hometown, that perhaps she needed to see more of the world. Perhaps if she travelled the world more good things would meet her. Susi had started to look at maps and she had she wondered what new inspiration that the world had for her out there.

Personality and inspiration
Susi is energetic, hardworking and all in all openhearted. She doesn't judge and tries to understand and accommodate everyone.She's also a team player that likes to make friends. She desires neither fame nor gold but she value her success in her friends. Susi dislikes shouty confrontation and wants's to compromise quickly if this happens. She's a devoted follower of Esmeralda and dreams about becoming a cleric in her honour. What this means to Susi is that she wants to start her own Inn or food stand at a marketplace. To Susi cooking is the religious part. It's a symbol of her openheartedness and how she sees the world.

Illiterate books are the same good for kindling unless they are picture books.

I get the feeling Gen and Clare are gonna have a fun little relationship, especially once Gen is picked by a particular lore of magic...or until she falls into using necromancy to save our asses. xD

Also, technically I use magic, but it probably won't be very useful I admit. Some of the runes are pretty amazing, but I need good/best quality items to work on, and the permanent runes take months to make, so there's a good chance we'll never get them. If we get some good quality swords and armour and whatnot, I can work us up consumable buffs, but beyond that is sketchy.

(Which admittedly may be an issue, as I need to do some permanent runes to advance to new careers, but I figure I'll work that out later. I like my concept, so that's enough.)
