I'll try creating a Character thread sometime this weekend since I've been receiving enough sheets. I look forward to more thoroughly plotting connections with some of you! You get the ideas boiling and bubbling in my brain.

NAME: Sarah Winters
AGE: 18
CLIQUES: Goth,  band geek (Violin Player)
PLANS: Going to university.
DREAM: She wants to be musician.  There’s not much that makes her as happy as playing. 
CAR: Beaten up 1973  Camaro.  A gift from her father at 16.  The only catch was she had to figure out how to make it run again.

HOBBIES: Music,  car repair(Taught by dad), bit of a party girl,  and sewing. 

ABOUT: Sarah formerly Simon  always seemed a little different than most boys in her classes.  She had a rather effete side to her.  Which often caused her to stand out from the rest of the group.   That of course drew the attention of bullies,  being rather slight and thin she was easy to knock around without much of a fuss.  She was vicious in a fight,  but, brute force typically seemed to beat out her ferocity. She did her best to weather it all with a smile.  She knew that people could feel that deep down there was something different about her.  So she didn’t blame them,  not much. 

There was a lot of stuff going on under the surface though.  Sarah was suffering internally trying her best to play at boyhood,  while feeling herself breaking apart thanks to her desire to be just be one of the girls.  She was easily accepted into the goth clique,  which she enjoyed immensely as it allowed her to express her more feminine nature through style of dress and even the minimal use of some make up.  Yet,  it didn’t fix everything.  She dealt with things as best as she could,  but,  she tended to suffer from occasional self  destructive impulses.  When her parents approached her about them,  the girl feeling so incapable of hiding who she was simply broke down.  She explained what she was suffering through,  and had expected to be kicked out of the house.  Yet to her surprise they accepted her, and even helped her begin transitioning. 

At the beginning of this year she appeared walking the halls for the first time dressed as she always desired.  Something was different about her,  she seemed more confident and even a little tougher.   Of course she suffered a little hassling,  but instead of being hurt by it.  She was quick to give a smile and hold up the middle finger.  Her grades even improved and she tossed herself into band,  finally willing to show the world that she was capable of playing violin.   

MOMENTS OF GLORY: Filled in for the first seat violinist,  playing the part fantastically and winning her place as first seat.

MOMENTS OF SHAME:  She once broke down during PE,  when she was forced to participate in swimming.  It’s stuck with her as she began to sob about not wanting to wear a swim suit.   The screaming and tears thrown at the gym teacher resulted in a brief suspension and more than few snickers from her classmates.  Things might make a little more sense now,   but she has never lived it down.  What most people outside of her parents and a few close friends know,  she was also trying to hide the scars that crisscross her calves.

ABOUT: Isis doesn't have a very colorful life. Despite her good grades, looks, and talent - her home life wasn't anything would assume she would have to go through. While her parents were well off and had the finer things in life - she wasn't exactly a spoiled child. Jonathan, her father, was a plastic surgeon - bringing in most of the money to the household. Tiffany, her mother, was abusive. Tiffany had goals for Isis at a very young age - fame and fortune. Isis grew up a prodigy in many different art forms; dance, music, and programming were just a few. Tiffany wanted to exploit that talent for popularity. For years, Isis would practice into the late hours of the night with her mother never caring to give her a break. If that wasn't the worst, Isis found her mother cheating on her father while he was away on business. Despite all of this, Isis went through school with impeccable grades and a level head - as leveled as it could get.

While her home life was never the best - Isis never had a poor attitude for what it counts. Isis was undeniably one of the nicest people anyone could ever hope to run into. She always has a positive outlook on life, not once letting her home life effect her work. Isis is incredibly smart and observant. She doesn't get mad very easily, but its been said that she does live with severe anxiety. The only time she does not go through its effects is when she's at home. Isis is an attentive and helpful person. Sexually, she has never been with anyone and hopes that changes one day.

MOMENTS OF GLORY: Winning a young writers prize worth $10,000 dollars. It was a risky young adult novel that got her the grand prize. It was the stepping stone that solidified what she needed and wanted to pursue in life.

MOMENTS OF SHAME: Her private diary was raided through where everyone discovered that she was actually a closeted Lesbian. She was more ashamed that she hid it, not that people found out.

ABOUT:  On the surface, Leanne is a warm and friendly person, always ready to make a new friend or sell some drugs to.  She's hardly ever the person who engages a conversation though, preferring it to come to her.  There are some things in her past and life that she prefers to keep to herself that could be described as difficult at best.

Her home life has been somewhat difficult.  A mother who works odd, late hours, and a father who ran off long ago.  The closest father figure in her life is her mother's boyfriend, who also happens to be her supplier, having her sell some drugs, mostly weed and a few prescriptions, to classmates and the like.

Academically, she did well in school.  By no means did she get all A's, but mostly B's and C's.  Sporadically absent for unspecified reasons, but showed up and did alright.  For more information about her history, see the below sections.

MOMENTS OF GLORY:  Once got her third period History class out of a mass detention by sweet talking their professor which may or may not have involved the selling of a few drugs.  It's never really been confirmed.  Also helped save the day during a school play by stepping in and taking over costume design.

MOMENTS OF SHAME:  Apart from one time when she fell flat on her face in the hallway during period shifts, and ended up with a really messy bloody nose, there was a few days when there were rumors that she was stripping at a gentleman's club, but there's never been any actual proof.

HOBBIES: Video games, jogging, web design/programming, noir movies.

ABOUT: Jeremiah (only two people are allowed to call him “Jeremy”) has struggled for a significant part of his life. His mother Mollie is an attractive woman but who has suffered from bouts of depression and anxiety and has had difficulties maintaining any kind of employment, let alone gainful employment. Difficulties in paying the bills led Jeremy to live in poorly maintained apartments and even a trailer park for a few years.

While Jeremiah’s home life has been a mess his school life has been a much more positive experience. Handsome, charming, a great athlete, and a good student he got stability, praise, and attention he couldn’t get at home with Mollie. Additionally, in middle school, he struck a friendship with Miriam Goldman, the prettiest girl in school, whom he would eventually begin dating as a freshman until the present day.

Unable to afford a four year college Jeremiah sees the distinct possibility of studying computer programming at a near by community college while he struggles to earn money, drive constantly to see Miriam in the dorms of the college she’ll be soon attending, and take care of Mollie and her increasingly degenerate mental health state. However, a few months ago an Air Force recruiter had contacted him and offered him the ASVAB test for military recruits. Jeremiah aced the test, granting him a lot of choices and flexibility with an enlistment. Joining the Air Force gives Jeremiah the promise of learning a trade, seeing the world, leaving a town he has grown to hate, and getting a whole host of new responsibilities to replace the ones involving being a parent to his mother. Yet the pull of trying to save his mother from herself and the pull staying with a young woman whom he believes he loves may tear the young man apart if he lets it…

MOMENTS OF GLORY: Despite his years of playing sports, Jeremiah’s fondest memory was a formal school dance where he showed up with Miriam, one of the prettiest girls in school, on his arm. Although not a secret, everyone came under the realization that he was dating a popular and pretty girl despite all his well known problems at home.

MOMENTS OF SHAME: When he was a sophomore, Jeremiah’s mother Mollie had been relatively stable for more than a year so he didn’t object to her picking him up from school when she could. However, when Mollie showed up to the high school, obviously having an episode, she yelled at students, teachers, school resource officers, and even bus drivers about a minor issue regarding the scheduling Jeremiah’s after school activities nearly getting arrested in the process. Jeremiah has yet to live this down.

NAME: Miriam Goldman
AGE: 18
CLIQUES: Honors, theater/drama group, cheerleaders
PLANS: University
DREAM: Screenwriter

HOBBIES: Singing, dancing, writing, classic movies, true crime, noir.

ABOUT: Miriam grew up in a relatively conservative and moderately religious Jewish family with an engineering executive father and doctor mother. The youngest and only girl of four kids, Miriam moved to Greenfields in eighth grade, the only one of her siblings too young to attend college.

Pretty, friendly, creatively talented, and a good student Miriam quickly adjusted to Greenfields. At first, Miriam fit in well with the “Popular” crowd. Things changed when she began dating Jeremiah who, despite his good looks and success in sports, caused Miriam’s social standing to slide thanks to the many rumors surrounding his home life and strange mother. Miriam was teased and ostracized by her former “friends” because of her relationship but she stuck only got closer to Jeremiah.

Additionally, at first her parents strongly discouraged Miriam dating Jeremiah though after a year, they got to know, like, and finally accepted him. With high school over, however, her parents have brought up the point that with Miriam getting accepted to an excellent college Jeremiah’s prospects don’t line up very well with the next phase of her life. Just like Jeremiah, she’s torn between the sensible ideas of her parents and her feelings for the boyfriend she’s been with for nearly four years. And with their last summer together approaching Miriam finds herself being torn apart nearly as much as Jeremiah is.

MOMENTS OF GLORY: When Jeremiah scored a touchdown he dashed to the sideline, where Miriam was cheering, and lifted her up to the crowd in victory. It was a heartfelt and sweet moment that even caught the attention of the local media.

MOMENTS OF SHAME: Miriam’s older brother Sam caused a rather nasty fight with her parents one day when he was back from college. Frightened for everyone’s safety she called the police causing a lot of unwanted attention not just from her family, who resented her exposing the family’s business to the public, but from the rest of the neighborhood who gossiped about the cops being at the Goldman’s house for months.

HOBBIES: Damian is a budding athlete, often playing football, soccer, racketball or baseball. He has a natural hand eye co-ordination that allows him to pick up most sports and excel at them. He is also good at school, often passing with a mid range B grade without having to study. He is also an avid gamer, spending many weekends playing xbox online.

ABOUT: Damian was a foreign student. He was dragged around Africa for most of his life, schooling in places such as Sierra Leone, Zambia and Malawi. His father was a charity worker, often moving every 3 years. When Damian turned 15, his father decided that more priority needed to be placed on Damian's schooling. They moved to a first world country and enrolled him into a decent school, where he had been for the last 3 years.

Having moved so often, Damian found it easy to fit right in and find new friends. He wasn't arrogant or cocky as such, he was just confident, not shy and found it extremely easy to speak to almost everybody. Coming from some small villages at times, Damian didn't really have a click so to say, he was sporty, academic as well as nerdy at times making it easy for him to get along with every group.

Damian's main focus however was football. Damian had played football all his life throughout Africa but it was never quiet as competitive as it was in the States. When he arrived he was used as a bench warmer with his talent being seen. His second year he was used often as a reserve but by the time he was in his final 2 years he had cemented his place in the first team, often getting the attention of some scouts. At the end of his senior year, Damian was offered a scholarship to a nearby college Unfortunately a week later he had his scholarship declined due to his citizenship. Damian was not an American citizen and therefore did not qualify for scholarships. This was only noticed after he received the offer. The only way for him to get his dreams was to marry an American citizen, fun as that sounded, it wasn't something that had presented itself yet, or live in America for another 2 years. This means he would have to wait 2 years before attending collage and putting his whole future life on hold. His parents could not afford university without the scholarship unfortunately.

Damian was no class suck up however, often getting into trouble for being mischievous, pulling practical jokes on the teachers and principal, almost getting expelled a few times when things went wrong. Damian was also at any party imaginable, drinking even though he was underage and dancing the night away, only getting home in the early hours of the morning.

MOMENTS OF GLORY: The day he was offered a scholarship to university based on his football skills

MOMENTS OF SHAME:A week later when his scholarship was revoked after having told the whole school he had gotten it. He then had to go around telling everyone that congratulated him that it was no longer available.

NAME: Naomi Redmond
AGE: 18

ABOUT:  Naomi's mom is in a hospital being treated for severe mental illnesses that she will never recover from, which is where she's been since Naomi was seven years old and walked into the house to find her bleeding on the kitchen floor.  She insisted that she hadn't been trying to kill herself, that the knife just slipped while she was cutting some carrots for Naomi's snack, but the truth was obvious.  After walking in to find her mother sitting on the floor, staring down at the long gash in her own arm as her blood pumped out to stain the linoleum, Naomi called 9-1-1 as she'd been taught and tried to staunch the bleeding with a kitchen towel.  The fact that he'd likely saved her mother's life didn't provide any comfort or make the nightmares stop.

After that, she was raised pretty exclusively by her father, who was not a gentle or loving man.  He never abused her, but neither did he spend any time holding her or trying to understand her, either.  Their relationship was, and remains, a fairly cold and detached arrangement, more like roommates than father and daughter.  He drives a truck for a living, and so she is often on her own for weeks at a time, and has been since she was seven.  Of course, back then she was looked after by the older woman who lived in the trailer next door, but she passed away when Naomi was eleven and her father figured she was old enough to look after herself from then on.

She has a reputation as a wild girl in school.  She smokes pot, sometimes takes peyote, 'shrooms and molly, though she never fucks with anything stronger than that, but her reputation says otherwise.  Her weekends, and some weeknights, are spent gigging with her band Di Vinci's Anus/The SlickLitters/Venus/Pearl Lipstick at dive bars, bowling alleys and, generally, anywhere that will have them.  She writes their original songs, serves as the lead singer, and hopes to one day make her mark on the annals of punk rock/grunge music.  She doesn't spend a lot of time with the other kids in high school, aside from the other 'losers' who come from the wrong side of the tracks and prefer the Sex Pistols to Taylor Swift.

MOMENTS OF GLORY:  Successfully getting some of the faculty high by sneaking a plate of chocolate chip cookies laced with THC into the teacher's lounge.

MOMENTS OF SHAME:  Naomi doesn't really do shame, but being caught red-handed smoking up in the boy's bathroom....after fucking a guy in one of the stalls might count.  Or the time she hit one of the popular kid's cars 'accidentally' while backing out of her parking spot in the school lot.  The time someone at school found the video of her engaging in lesbian sex on a camgirl site.

NOTES:  The other members of Pearl Lipstick are in their mid-to-late twenties, and Naomi has a fake ID that serves well enough to get her into the sort of seedy places that hire her band.  The camgirl incident, and any subsequent internet porn videos/photographs, have only happened since she turned 18.  She's wild, not stupid.

Alright! Sent feedback to those that submitted here. I'm sorry I've been so absent this weekend, I don't get as much computer time and with the American holiday it's making it all tougher than usual. I'm feeling pretty good about this group!

Question: action is taking place during summer vacation, right after graduation or before, during the final year?

Immediately after graduation. The story will begin the night after their graduation ceremony. In order to keep scenes from getting crowded I'm figuring that there will be two locations set-up: one group will have themselves a "normal" graduation party, probably at the Valedictorian's house or, if one of you players is willing, at your home. Benny, however, would be having a gathering of "outcasts" or "losers" in his basement, making liberal use of his mom's readily accessible liquor cabinet. This way no one scene runs into issues with too much going on at one time.

I figure we'll have "event days", most of which will be parties or similar gatherings at different homes, or a holiday like July 4th. Between each event will generally be a period of freedom, where you guys can write out whatever interactions on whatever days in whatever locations that you'd like. I'll probably try to work on creating a calendar to help keep things organized and clear. So let's say Graduation Day is Friday, June 9th. The next event would perhaps be a bonfire on Saturday, June 27th, and then the next event being July 4th Barbecues. Maybe a big event July 14th-16th, where earlier in the year one of the students went to everyone else to arrange for a Graduation Camping Trip instead of a more traditional party. This way there's always something to try and bring everyone together, but between those everyone can do whatever interactions come to mind.

And you guys are free to bring ideas my way as well, of course.

I will be creating threads for areas like the mall, shopping center, night club, community pool, etc. and everyone will be able to have a thread for their own house. I am undecided on a separate thread for smut. In many ways I know it's a good idea so the story can keep moving without having to wait on the smut to conclude, but on the other hand I feel like including the smut in the story threads allows for others to somehow participate in that story. For example, let's say two people are getting it on in someone's bathroom during their graduation party. This allows an opportunity for someone else to either walk in on them or for a crowd to gather outside beating on the door and/or waiting for them to come out, embarrassing those inside (especially if it's a rather unorthodox couple).

As most have been silent on it, I think I'll be putting this in Light: Human Groups as I don't think many high school kids would be familiar enough with how proper bondage works. Sure, blindfolds, handcuffs or cloth bindings, and maybe a paddle or riding crop, but I don't think they'd be familiar enough with stuff to explore real bondage. However, I'll double check the forum guidelines just to be sure. If anyone wants to explore something darker, I'll be glad to work that out. It doesn't seem anyone thus far is interested in exploring Non-Con, though.

ABOUT: Jenna is a timid girl, very shy. She grows up the only daughter, of very religious parents. Her father is harsh, he drinks much, he sometimes hits Jenna and her mother. He always tells Jenna she's not worth anything, sometimes she believes him.

Jenna works part time in the comic book shop, she likes skate boarding, too. Her friends, they're mostly the comic geeks, like her. She doesn't have many female friends though, mostly boys. She's the very talented artist, she dreams maybe some day of drawing Spider-Man, or Iron Man. She hopes for going to art school, in New York City.

MOMENTS OF GLORY: Jenna won the prestigious art contest, when she's the junior. It's surprises many of her class mates, they don't know that she draws, before. It makes her father very pleased, too, that makes her very proud.

MOMENTS OF SHAME: Jenna "dated" a football player in fall, of her senior year. She didn't know, it was the big prank. But for a month, she really thought she was in love. The boyfriend though, he only wanted winning bet, with his team mates, of who seduces a nerdy girl first. He makes the phone video of Jenna, giving him blowjob, and shares it with almost the whole school. The humiliations hurt Jenna, very much, it's why she skips school much rest of year, and almost doesn't graduate.

NAME: Marco Benjamin Jr.

HOBBIES: Training is probably Marco's favorite thing to do. Whether he's in the gym or doing road work or whatever, he just loves to stay in shape and work up a sweat. So sports is in that wheelhouse as well, and he can always be found playing ball somewhere probably. He loves music as much as he loves sports, so when he's not working out, he's in his studio recording or writing new music. Aside from that, he's like a normal high school guy so he likes to hang out with his friends, go on adventures, watch tv, play video games and engage in copious amounts of illegal, but non-threatening drugs. Simple stuff. Oh, and he also likes to race his GT around town.

ABOUT: Marco was born in Hawaii to Marco Benjamin Sr. and Kelani. His father was a Hall of Fame football player, with 5 Superbowl rings in his trophy case; and his popularity had helped him make a few movies as well. His mother was a surf legend Marco Sr. had met during a vacation. They fell in love fast, and after his final game, it wasn't hard to convince him to move to Honolulu, as it was a lovely place and flying to see his family anywhere would take a few hours at most.

It wasn't long after they moved there that they got pregnant, and Marco Jr. came along. He grew up in Honolulu till he was about 10, and then nostalgia hit his dad and he wanted to move home. Hawaii was beautiful, but he missed it. So this time he convinced Kelani to give his way of life a try. As it turned out, his way of life was that of a small town boy. He'd been born and raised in Greenfields, and made it out with a football scholarship. And while it definitely paled to Hawaii in many aspects, it had it's own rural charm you couldn't ignore.

It was a bit of a transition, but they made it work, and have been there ever since...though they do visit Hawaii often. From childhood on, Marco was always a bundle of energy with the need for structure. Music helped, and so did self-defense classes(primarily boxing and MMA). Oh, and Basketball. Those would be the three pillars of his childhood. Music and Fighting. He did them both very well, taking to them like a fish in water. He won his first Golden Glove trophy at nine years old, and has won every year after in every age group and weight class he's been in.

By the time he hit middle school, he was something of a local celebrity for winning all those trophies. Around middle school was when he finally got enough courage to let other people listen to his music. He made good beats, he could sing, and play a few instruments. He had the makings of an artist as well. His parents saw no reason why not to support both of his passions, and for his fourteenth birthday they got him a ton of studio equipment. They figured either he'd make it big as a fighter, or as a musician. Maybe both, but they were confident in their son. So much dedication though took a toll, and all non-stop training, and hours writing songs day after day wore him down.

It wasn't long before a good friend introduced him to weed. From there he took off like a rocket, smoking, drinking, all the stuff a teenager stuck in the middle of nowhere would do. However he was smart and none of his indulgence has affected him. Thankfully though his parents are pretty chill, and he can even smoke with them when they're in the mood. His total package made him pretty popular, and he's pretty sure his parents having a huge house and a pool didn't hurt either. So he's been at all the parties, and thrown several of his own. He's had a good life so far and found a good balance; now he just hopes he can keep it up after graduation.

MOMENTS OF GLORY: One of his biggest moments was when he got a 1st round, 5 seconds in KO against Luca "Piledriver" Marino, an Italian brawler with a stigma around him about hospitalizing his opponents. The guy was twice his size but somehow still just inside his weight class, and Marco flattened him with a hook to the chin. That was his most current Golden Gloves championship.

His first live performance of a song(Homegrown) at the school talent show got a standing ovation, and everyone downloaded his song later that day. He heard it around school and town for the next two months straight.

MOMENTS OF SHAME: When he was 14, he got into a fight with this bully for picking on one of his friends really bad. Well it wasn't so much a fight as it was Marco beating on him. And then his friends jumped in. Four on One wasn't the best odds, but Marco wasn't one to back down. Long story short, he got a bit panicky and dropped one guy like a sack of bricks...with a broken jaw. He spent a few months in Juvie and his parents paid the guys hospital fees since his family couldn't afford it. Thankfully it didn't stick on his record, but everyone in town knows. He still feels bad because now the guy talks with a lisp for the rest of his life.
