BBCode to keep images from sizing up to full when used as a link?

For example, for my signature I created a toolbar to make it look pretty.  However, if you click on any of the five sections, it will automatically open in a new window.  However, if you then click back, the one you clicked on expands to its normal size.  Not good for a signature.


Is there additional information I can add into the img tag to prevent this from happening?  I know the easiest solution is to resize all of them down to the 100x100 i'm actually using, but then you lose some of the quality.  Thoughts?

Try using img height=100 ?

I did already did (probably should have put this an an example).  I know the height/width are redundant in this case (my earlier signature it wasn't):

It seems to be some way it handles it when you just click on any section.  If I right click and open in new tab/window, it doesn't expand it up to the full 400x400.

I know its a signature but the OCD in me is going insane and my GoogleFu is not working.

I think you might need to resize them down then.

But someone else might have a magic trick!

It does that on mine as well, but when I click it the second time/or refresh the page it goes back to normal size. The only way around the problem is to resize the actual picture.

Darn, that's what I thought.  I'll play around with it tonight and see if I like the way the smaller version looks compared to the one I have now.

Thanks - I just use GIMP.  Not the most user friendly but I've figured it out.
