Okay multiple questions I see. First of all to those who have sent in CS's I have read them. They all look good. I'm just been a bit swamped with work lately and I fully admit. A bit caught up in playing a video game I just got recently when I'm not at work. This is just a quick pop in but I will be back to fully answer some questions and update the various threads.

First of all: We should be starting soon! I'm thinking we have enough people by now to begin this. The only thing left to do before we start is get some final CS in and for me to contact the people that expressed interest last time I tried to get this going and see if they are still interested.

Secondly: A half Vulcan half romulan would be acceptable. As would a ferengi

Somewhat, but my main resource is Memory Alpha and that wiki doesn't establish what happens to the Cardassian Union after the Dominion War, so some GM guidance is desired.

T'set Vaan is of an intriguing bloodline, he is half-Vulcan and half-Romulan. T'set's father, Chavek, was an aid to Vice-Preconsul M'ret who defected to the Federation-along with M'ret and another aid, and was smuggled aboard the Enterprise-D in stasis due to the efforts of Spock and the crew of the Enterprise-D...Mainly in particular Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Counselor Deana Troi (TNG Episode 139 - Face of the Enemy).

Shortly after he was awakened from stasis he made a request-after going through all of the questioning and interrogation Starfleet would have logically made before letting three high ranking Romulans into the Federation-to be taken to Vulcan as he wanted to have an opportunity to mend the fences between the Romulans and the Vulcans.

His father did his best to try to understand the Vulcans their way of life but he had a lot of difficulties due to the differences between Romulans and Vulcans.

He however met a Vulcan woman named Saeirh, that he grew enamored with and the woman was one of the first to approach the Romulan on Vulcan.

Whether it was through Pon Farr or some other reason, the two eventually got married in an effort to show that Romulans and Vulcans can build a bridge between the cultural gap the two species have.

Unfortunately...

When T'set's mother was giving birth to him there were complications in the pregnancy that led to her death.

T'set's father then made the decision to leave Vulcan than to stay here and have his son be raised by Vulcans. It was not out of rudeness, but he felt that his son would be torn apart in the two differing philosophies of Vulcans and Romulans and since T'set's mother was not around it would complicate matters in terms of T'set's father being a Romulan raising a son on Vulcan. He felt that it would be a difficult task.

With assistance from Spock, T'set and his father relocated to Earth...in particular, San Francisco

When T'set was old enough, he decided that to honor his father, his mother, Spock, and the crew of the Enterprise who assisted in saving his father in joining Starfleet.
