History:Born and raised to be what he is now, Dakeyras was born into the family of the King of his time. Despite the fact that he was raised to be a warrior from the moment that he could walk, Dakeyras (Known as Dak by his friends) was a scrawny child, a runt, and regularly bullied and beaten by his older brothers, and even his father, the king. Thus driven to excell, Dakeyras knew that he couldn't win by pure brute strength, so he studied the various art forms of war, including the elven form of Blade Dancing. He trained himself in this art, and found that he was a natural.
His deceptive form of using the blade soon saw him rising in the ranks among his brothers, his step light and always in balance, his lean form agile and stronger than it looked. As he grew older, he grew taller as well, taller and more slender than most of his brothers. His father noticed this unconventional skill, as well as the fact that he seemed to have more brains than the rest of the bunch, he took Dak under his wing and tutored him personally. Dakeyras had not forgotten the way that he had been treated as a scrany youth, but he took advantage of this extra training, putting his hatred for his progenitor aside for the time being.
It flared once more when it was discovered that his mother was, in fact, part elf. His father was enraged by this and, before Dakeyras could intervene, decapitated the woman. Enraged, as the young man loved his mother dearly, he attacked his father. They were stopped before the fight could continue, and an official challenge was extended. Since the throne of the Tribes did not pass from father to son, but instead from the king to the man that killed him in honest combat, or failing that, in a series of duels of those considered the best fighters, Dakeyras fought and killed his father in the duel, even going so far as to humiliate him by cutting off both his ears during the duel before stabbing his father through the chest, purposefully missing the heart and letting the man die a slow death as he drowned in his own blood.
However, Dakeyras knew that if the knowledge of him being of impure blood spread, his place on the throne would be contested, so he ordered all those that knew of his mother's, and therefore his, shame killed, and proceeded to instill a firm dislike of non-humans on his realm to hide his impure bloodline. However, secretly, he knew that not all non-human efforts were evil, himself being an example of this, so he secretly ordered that his army be furnished with dwarf-made weapons and armor, as well as taking on dwarf war machines, training the best fighters against captured orcs, having his generals study dwarf and elf battle tactics and apply them to their troops.
However, after a plague struck out in one of the villages under his command, non-humans were blamed for this and a massacre ensued. Cydilla, already disliking this more fervent racism, when word reached the Queen's ears of this new atrocity, sanctions were put in place, and all trading companies in Cydilla refused to trade with the Northern tribes until justice was served.
Dakeyras knew that without the trading lines in Cydilla, and with the results of the sanctions, his people would soon starve with winter approaching. He could not side with the non-humans and risk his secret seeing the light of day, so there was only one thing he could do: Invasion.
