Maybe his staff took away his electronics again.  :P

I just had a thought, though.  He's a little more than a month away from the inauguration.  Can you imagine the stomach-churning that is going on trying to figure out a speech for him to give and the worries over him going off-script?

How sad, my flip flop fashion statement puns have lost their medium.

He'll decry Baldwin as SAD!!! and SNL as FAILING!!! with its plummeting viewership.

Of course. Just like with Vanity Fair (whose subscriptions have reached record highs after Trump tweeted about it)! :P :P

I can only imagine. I wonder if he'll stay on script when he sees this rather large protest coming his way: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/local/wp/2016/12/15/the-womens-march-on-washington-officially-has-a-permit-for-jan-21/?utm_term=.4c407ed195ed

That's our soon to be president right there! Just imagine, 4 whole years of this...

And when 4 years is your best-case scenario, as opposed to either less or more...

But is less really so much worse as just less comic relief? I mean some of it depends on if your Taiwan, but really does anyone believe Pence isn't going to be doing most of the footwork? (not to mention cleaning up every time Donald does something imbecilic, I wonder if Pence will find himself happier after this is over)

It'd be worse if Pence had the full-on prestige+authority of being President in addition to the practical power he'll already have. Not a whole lot worse, but still.

Trump's an asinine imbecile, but Pence is a legitimate terror and I can't help but be scared that he's the one controlling Trump, or that he will be the one controlling Trump.

Well the difference is whether Pence/Putin are pulling the strings or not.

TheGlyphstone

Honestly, Pence doesn't need to be pulling any strings. Like Cheney and Bush, all he needs to do is distract Trump with something sufficiently shiny and occasionally hand him bills that need signing.

If anyone truly believes Pence isn't already consolidating a power base they are, at best, naive.  He is a Machiavellian influence if there ever was one.

Also...

In a strange juxtaposition of events, on this day in history, seventy-five years ago, Adolf Hitler assumed the position of commander in chief of the German army.

Truck Veers off road in Berlin slamming into group of people. 1 Confirmed dead, multiple injured. No evidence as of yet if this is an accident or intentional.

It was a Christmas market. I'm not holding my breath about an accident...
For the record, the Christmas market in Toulouse had to be evacuated in emergency, too...

That and the similarities to the attack in France make me very concerned. We'll have to wait and see.

Or we take the suggestions in this post and use the TP's tactics against them.

TheGlyphstone

Honestly, there was never any real question whether he'd win the electoral college. Now we get to see whether he can maintain any policy decision for more than a few months, contrary to his established record to date. Or if he'll just be given unlimited access to Twitter and ignored while Pence and Congress rebuild America into a right-wing theocracy.

Im never sure on how to feel with this. I'm glad they can be who they want to be...but that is a really young age to make such a decision, far too young in my mind :/  But...whatever so long as they are happy and absolutely sure its what they want.

After these brief messages, a special report: Water is wet and the sun is bright.

North Korea is another serious potential worry with Trump in charge of our foreign policy. The best way to handle NK's antics is to ignore them, but Trump is way too thin-skinned to just shrug off whatever nonsense insults/threats Kim Un decides to issue.

To be honest, North Korea is not that much of a threat, unless they decide to nuke themselves just to deny their enemies a victory...which they would happily do.

But in all honesty South Korea all on their own could beat the North. The only thing to worry about is China since they love having North Korea since it is a buffer zone between them and the Pro US, South.
