Under any other administration I'd be inclined to say escalation was inevitable, the Kim regime set it's course some time ago, but for fucks sake do any of these people know what they're fucking doing???????!!!!!!!

To be fair the Kim Regime has been saying what its always been saying. :/  This is nothing new and not even the worst things have gotten.

Until actual shots get fired its safe to say its just a mad dog raving.

The North Koreans like a bit of attention every now and again I have noticed, fire a missile get some love. They just like reminding the rest of the world that they are still there and can and will be annoying if pushed.

It's highly unlikely that anything will escalate.

The Japanese government is taking the threats seriously and has conducted their first Missile Drill, and getting civilians who are in areas at risk of missile strikes, accustomed to evacuations.

Not what I wanted to read.  I can't help but feel like if this escalates it will be because Trump wants a war to distract from the chaos of his administration and everything going on there.

About one year ago, I decided to post "Western Europe" news on my wall for my foreign friends to read. So many of those "events" happened, I had to restrict to my own country. Then to my area and to the most extreme "non local" ones. According to recent surveys the large majority of my countrymen do NOT feel safe, basically all minorities feel targeted but so do non minorities, and while more normal candidates fail to address the problem, the extreme ones become more and more popular... After attacks on schools, museums, Christmas fairs... This unfortunately came as no surprise to me.

That almost sounds like an attempt at Suicide by Cop. (Or Soldier in this case).  I don't see any way that would have succeeded.

Rock'n'roll pioneer Chuck Berry has passed away, aged 90. If some alien civilization picks up the Voyager golden record a million years from now, they will still be dancing to his voice and guitar in Johnny B. Goode though.  :D

Well... this can't be good: http://m.truthdig.com/report/item/for-profit_colleges_gain_beachhead_trump_administration_20170320

For-Profit colleges are gaining traction! Can you imagine what would happen to the state of education in the US if they were allowed to proliferate?

US bans large electronic devices from plane cabins over bomb fears.
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/u-s-restricts-laptops-ipads-carry-bags-10-airports-n736181
Because of course there is no way these laptop sized bombs could be rigged to detonate in the cargo hold or that a would-be bomber might choose to fly from an airport on a airline that isn't on the list.

Interesting to see how US Media is being dishonest in covering the death of Martin McGuinness. Before he sat down for peace talks he was a commander in the IRA, a group that had no problem targeting civilians and using human bombs, so unless the US media is going to start calling the likes Al-queda and Isis  'rebels' and 'revolutionaries' they should call McGuinness what he was, a terrorist.

I agree, a terrorist is a terrorist. It disgusts me how as of late there is a double standard for terrorists. If one isn't an Islamic extremist then they are a rebel and 'freedom fighter' against some corrupt regime, even fi their methods involve killing innocents who aren't involved in their conflict.

It's why im so pissed off people seemed to have wanted to roll out the red carpet for Oscar Lopez. >:(

All revolutionaries are branded terrorists early in their career. They may shed that moniker if they win.

Nelson Mandela - check
Aung San Suu Kyi - check
Nehru - check
David Ben-Gurion - check
Lech Walesa - check
The 1916 Easter Uprising men - check
Jesus Christ - check (the guy was executed as a troublemaker and blasphemer)

and so on...Some of the British suffragettes would have been called terrorists too, if the word had existed back then
