Artwork that inspired this game:
This is the most basic of settings.
A human kingdom is invaded by a huge Orc army, which crushes everything in front of it, leaving only smoldering remains and corpses behind.
The combined forces of humanity were utterly defeated three weeks prior to the start of this game. The capital city and its walls are only protected by a small force which remained behind.
The King himself and his eldest son also perished in the great battle.
Apart from the handful of the Kings Guardsmen who remained behind to protect the queen and princess, only old men and boys remain to defend the city.
Ten days into the siege, the Orcs pierce the city walls and stream in. All men are put to the sword, only the young women are captured alive, to become slaves who are used by the Orcs to enact their most depraved fantasies.
This game would start a mere hours after the Orcs invaded the city. Small pockets of human defenders are still fighting small skirmishes with the Orcs. Many buildings are ablaze. Unfortunate young women have Orcs force themselves onto them all over the streets, inside of the houses and whichever other buildings they hoped to find shelter in.
I would be looking for two basic character types for this game: the Orcs and the young women they enslave.
Unless there is a strong desire from the players, there will be no heroic resolution, no Elven army showing up to save the day.
In terms of the women, I would prefer a good mix to represent the different classes of society: commoners, merchants, (minor) noblemen, all the way up to the princess and queen.
The Orcs should primarily be grunts, though I may allow one or two characters in command positions.

Now in terms of the Orcs, a short history. The aforementioned Wizard conquered the Elven kingdom prior to invading the human realm. The large majority of Orcs are thus former Elves who were turned into Orcs through his dark and twisted magic. As such their history and memories would start the moment they were "reborn" as Orcs. The oldest amongst them would be no more than 5-6 years old.
Please send the concepts to me through a PM. Do not post them in here before getting the okay from me.
The human capital of Vaeldor:
The two fire graphics designate the locations where the Orcs pierced the walls, almost simultaneously. That means that all Orcs should enter the city through one of those two points.
I have color coded the different neighborhoods based upon the class of their inhabitants:
1. (purple color) the Royal Family and most of the nobility
2. (red color) Merchants (the richer variety)
3. (blue color) Clerics, monks and practitioners of the arcane arts
4. (green color) Commoners, craftsmen, merchants of the poorer variety
5. (orange color) Paupers, beggars, whores, ... all the people who are largely shunned in the other parts of the city.
You should take this map into consideration to come up with a logical starting point for your character.
