I really hope so. I was pretty interested in Sisters back in the day when I first started, but like many the price for the models is just ridiculous.

That's the characters from the Fall of Cadia. I know a lot of people want to see plastic Sisters, but I don't know that GW have said they'll do them or not.

Aye, that's an older article and we have had Celestine and that one limited Cannonness model since then. If we're lucky we'll get the Agents of Imperium codex next year and with Geedubs wanting to get more female gamers, female led art and lady models in the game, we'll likely get them eventually. However they have recently said their development is 3 years in advance and this is relatively new, so it may still take some time yet. I also see that they're taking on an issue to replace 'boobplate' (this makes me sad, I love the Sororitas' boobplates!) so I think we're more likely to see lady Militarum models and upgrade kits coming in the soonest.

Sisters are a pretty playable list in 8th edition though, plus Age of Sigmar got their first lady Sigmarine recently, so I think 2018 may hold some surprises yet.

Really, all you need for female IG is heads. Unless you have models like Catachans, everyone else tends to be in armour or concealing clothing. There are already plenty of 3rd party sites doing female heads.

I'd like it if they *slightly* altered some of the bodies as well - not absurd boob-plate, but Victoria Miniatures does a good job at having female guard models that look noticeably female but otherwise excellent.

The real issue is the Cadians are grotesque when you actually think about their proportions.

True other parties do things like female upgrade kits, though Geedubs get their ass in their hand if you play using other partie's models or bits in an official way.

I really like myself the 'Toughest Girls in the Galaxy' models range, they look really good, pretty sexy though they're sold in very small numbers which makes doing a full 40k army of them a bit fiddly to do (they're decently priced mind).
Grabbing some for HQ choices or squad sergeants shouldn't be too bad though if you wanted to add more character to a force and Geedub's throwing their dummy around doesn't affect your hobby times. The Jailbirds range make awesome Militarum proxies as do some Kurganova models, including femme Commissars. They even have a 'Sisters SF' range which are basically Sororitas and sexy looking ones at that. Plus there's 'Void Elves', which are sexy Dark Eldar looking models if you want something special, maybe a femme Archon or something.

Idej

Thank you very much for that!

That actually helps me out though I was curious if there were or are kits to make Craftworld Eldar leaders appear female.  Such asan Autarch.  I was debating on using a Howling Banshee model and kit bash but wanted input from others.

How many kidneys does it cost?

It's a Forge World super heavy. My guess is it will be a few hundred. I've never looked at any of their big stuff, so not sure on prices.

Well the Legion Fellblade, the Horus Heresy equivalent of a Baneblade, is ~$230 at the current exchange rate. Since its about the size of that, it might be around that cost.

What are the sizes of the toughest girls j  the galaxy models are, are the same size as 40k minis?

Goddamn, server timed out swallowed my post.

Anyways, I was looking to see if anyone knew any good novels to read about Death Guard and/or Mortarion (that's not Mortarion's Heart, as I've listened to the audiobook of it and it's just Grey Knight Wardian wank). If the Horus Heresy novels have touched upon Typhus directing the Destroyer Plague their way and having them turn into Plague Marines, I'd like to read that. Basically anything with a strong Plague Mariney Death Guard showing would be cool to read up on some of the lore behind my guys.

Idej; I'm not sure on the scale. There's a website for them, they may have more on scale there.

It's because I want to use this for a Dark Eldar Succubus replacement

Took some digging, though their Kickstarter page for the first wave says 28mm, which I believe is the same scale 40k uses.

I know when I've seen their blister packs at Firestorm (one of my LFGS) that they look to be around the correct scale as 40k, though I don't currently own any (yet) to do a side-by-side. I know I'd love to grab one of them, probably a Kurganova solo as my Cult Leader model. They look like femme Commissars, though also they're armed correctly for my list and look badass enough to roll as a Leader.

Their model line is pretty great. A bit specific,  but this would make an excellent Malefic Lord for a Tzeench Covenant renegade army.

Wait they have renegade armies that aren't space marines?

Indeed they do. Like Guardsmen with lots of cheap bodies and artillery, but certain rules like Chaos Covenants and units like Mutants, Plague Ogryns, and Chaos Spawn (among others) really change how they play. It's a Forge World army though, so you'll have to sell some organs if you want to afford it. But if you buy Guardsmen and give them a Chaos paint job with the proper bits I'm sure most people won't mind.

"The Same Size at 40K minis" is a problematic concept, because their size has been changing over time. I've got a bunch of the TGG models, and they are:

1. A pain to assemble and clean
2. Notably finer scale

This isn't a bad thing necessarily - the proportions on standard GW plastics are all manner of broken. They're about to scale with like, the Forge World Krieg or Elysians. It'll be less glaring for the Eldar line, as those figures are a little finer as well.

wander

The scales on some of Geedubs models have increased over the years for sure, mostly they stand taller the closer to today you get.

I have some CSMs that I grabbed for my 7th edition DG list (just CSMs with mark of nurgle back then, for some 'ghetto plague marines' to get T5 on the cheap), though I'm upgrading to current Plague Marines to get the Blight Launchers represented. They stand at a similar height to Primaris, which are larger than vanilla Marines. My cultist models are pretty tiny too, though when compared to their Marine battle-brothers in my list, it does at least fit the lore they'd be smaller and skinnier stood compared to them.

Funnily enough the tanks have stayed pretty much the same scale, me and my mate joke the Chaos Rhino is a clown-car to be able to fit 10 Plague Marines in the back of it. It looks like five maybe could get there in a push if they didn't manspread and tucked their elbows in... 10 though? I guess some laps need to be sat on. ^^;

I found that kinda funny too. Since most Primaris units are restricted to only taking Repulsors, I thought they'd make Plague Marines take up two models in a transport as a way of balancing it out. In hindsight that's an absolutely idiotic thought, but you never know.

Laws of physics are for mortals :P The warp saturation of the rhinos means they're far bigger on the inside than the outside.
