Music Wars - classical to punk, it all goes down here.
« on: October 06, 2010, 01:54:55 AM »
You read the subject, this is Music Wars. Where the heavy jammers of today's past, present and future dish it out in a Colosseum of  guitar riffs, heavy beats and arias. Now lets go to the rules!

1. One song per post! Do not give us links to 50 different sites!!
2. Lets hear the music, not see a download page! Youtube is a wonderful thing. (Videos of AMV's and such are okay, it's the music we're after.)
3. Don't start drama that's not needed! If you have serious opposition to a certain song, DONT LISTEN, cuz we wont' listen to you!
4. Don't flood the page with 50 different posts! Its the same as 50 songs in one, seriously unneeded!
5. Please name both GROUP/ARTIST and SONG NAME. No 'untitled song #235'.

I'll start this war out with one of my favorites.
Artist: Voltaire
Song Name: When You're Evil
Link: Hellsing parody When You re Evil (Better Quality)

(I also suggest listening to 'Brains'. Great band.)
AGAIN, DON'T LIKE, DON'T LISTEN/WATCH!

Easily the best Keyboard solo EVER. Rick Wakeman. Hold onto your seat when it reaches 2:34. I believe it is from the Camelot/King Arthur album.

Yeah Rick Wakeman is amazing. I love his Journey to the Center of the Earth album.

Here's a pretty amazing rendition of the Sailor's Hornpipe Performed by Mike Oldfield.
He composed the music Tubular Bells, the soundtrack for the original Exorcist.

Just when you think he can't go faster...he does.

So I stumbled upon this song today, and have totally fallen in love. With the music, the video (3 minutes of staring at Brody? nice), everything.

I was a Distillers fan before this, and I like seeing how things have evolved for her. Anyway... enough talk.

The Gossip - "Standing in the Way of Control" Kill Rock Stars

Band- The Gossip.
Song- Standing In The Way Of Control.

This woman ((Beth Ditto)) is absolutely amazing. She has a powerful an beautiful voice, she posed nude for NME and she's size 28(UK)! She's my idol. I'm a size 20 and she's proof that larger women can be as beautiful, if not, more beautiful than slim women.
