I have no idea how to play 3.5 but if someone helps me I am sure I could come up with something. If you need a total newb on D&d 3.5 hit me up hehehe

1.
2. Junko Valenza
3. Thief or something on those lines (not sure yet, I don't like normal things so a normal thief is not on my list of things, I would love to do something different with a thief)
4. A very short bio - please keep lengthy bios for now, as we will list them later: A wondering thief, she makes her life taking on jobs and helping whoever she can. She is not a bad person she just is only good at stealing.
5. Character Motivations/Other side notes: To be the best thief around.
6. Kinks that you for sure want to hit on in this rp, so that group members and the Dungeon Master can try to help in that arena: She only submits, she is rarely dominant. Ropes and bdsm always welcomed.
7. Your willingness to help other players who are new make their first character: I Need Help, but will do what I can

well...for not normal you could try something like a spell thief... you hit spell casters and steal their spells to cast them

seems we have a few interesterd in this

a) If we have a lot shall we drop the gestalt class thing (i read about it - it says its suitable for few players playing high level stuff - if all want to go with it fine i guess - but it is "everyone is gestalt classes" or none are.

b) Can we please be evil or neutral ?

I don't know what gestalt is.  I have a regular class and my prestige one for my person.  I don't believe we have a need for an evil person but I could be wrong lol.

Thanks for starting the thread Decrep. I'm prolly interested. Is there anything you know yet about what the setting/theme/plot etc. will be, - Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, where the opening scene will be? I ask out of general interest, so that I can write a character bio that gives her a logical reason for being when-where the story begins.

I would probably play a paladin or ranger. Which is another reason I ask - to figure out whether the starting location is somewhere a character would logically have their special mount or animal companion (and also to choose a god for the character - like if I can use the Forgotten Realms pantheon or should look up another).

Or a paladin-sorcerer if we do gestalt. Though would prefer non-gestalt; gestalt isn't very well balanced, like much of the stuff in UA (might as well just be higher level if the goal is more abilities, esp. as there are prcs like eldritch knight, mystir theurge, and arcane trickster for elaborate multiclassing)

1. I am awful at finding character pics.  I'll see what I can do, though.
2. Lucien
3. I'm thinking Gestalt Wizard/Druid, although that may be limited by how we produce attribute scores.
4. Lucien was ejected from the generic academy of magic due to misconduct and went on the road.  The combination of violence and wealth has made "adventurer" a uniquely appealing proposition for him, and also the opportunity to move on before trouble catches up with him.
5. He enjoys over-complicated schemes to gain power, or whatever else he might want.  He will happily work with others if he needs extra leverage to get a job done.
6. I enjoy non-con, light mind-control/domination type things, and...hmm, it might be fun to do body-modification type things to other characters once I have the magic for it.  So, whoever is into that might get an opportunity.  I'm not regularly into furry or beastiality type things myself, but my character *can* turn into animals, so if someone else is into that I could see putting it on the menu.
7. I am more than happy to help people make characters.

I've been throwing an idea around with Decrepitdan about playing sedcutress type character(s) summoned from a wand...for use in...well whatever really, seducing especially though!  If anyone would be interested in such a wand let me (and/or Decrepitdan) know!  It comes with a few...limitations?  If the whole thing is too far out I'll come up with something else of course!

How about if she were summoned from a Figurine of Wondrous Power type item instead of a wand?  It might not change the actual effect much, but it's more...consistent, I guess?  I don't know if the wand is a thing for you or not.

Sure thing. What sort of color and design do you want? Do you want fishnet stockings with it too or without any leggings, for example? Anyway I need to take your measurements, so do you have any place private we could go for me to do the specifications?

Thanks to all for the interest!

Kate, normally, I would tend to agree with your sentiments on gestalt. However - we have enough players interested at this point to split into two subgroups, if we find it necessary. As that is the case, I find forcing everyone to go one way or another particularly arbitrary. On the second question you  posed, everyone is free to vote on the whether the party goes evil or good, neutral always being an option of course. I however have to stick to my guns on the restriction for the reasons stated before, it is likely one of the groups would however like to play evil chars.

ff, first, thank you for the thanks and the interest! Nothing has been settled in the arena of setting yet. I tend to make up my own setting and allow players to use whatever resources/pantheons they want for char generation. That is likely how we will proceed. As I noted above, the thread will be splitting this evening, so write a char for either a gestalt game or a normal game, and then we can move to another thread. I hope that answers all your questions!

WysardWhately, thank you for the interest. If you are having trouble finding photos, im sure others can help - I personally use photobucket, as that is the database I have had the most luck with. Based on your ons list, I would suggest that you look into the 'Dominator' prestige class on page 69 of the Book of Erotic Fantasy, it seems to fit your ons quite well. Please also consider everything I just told the other players, as this thread is of course a formative thread.

Thanks to all for your interest, please post any ideas, suggestions, concerns or calls for overall votes!

In addition to what I listed above, if anyone is experienced as a Dungeon Master and would like to take over the second group, either gestalt or regular classes - please contact me and we can discuss splitting the thread. Thank you in advance for any responses to this particular request.

Hmm.  My character would probably be on the more sinister end of Neutral.  My experience has been that evil parties rarely turn into anything particularly fun to play with, although a largely good-aligned party is going to be a problem considering many people's turn-ons.

So...my answer is almost-useless, I guess.  It might be better if we established ranges of acceptable conduct for the given alignments, and worked from there.  What I picture when I imagine an evil party may be much harsher than what someone else pictures, so we may just end up talking past each other.

Evil is very relative, WW. I don't plan to plan a black and white campaign, so there is going to be some leeway alignment-wise. A chaotic neutral or true neutral character could easily fulfill any of the ons that i've seen, and there are of course always the monsters, who can arrange truly dastardly sexual encounters that one character, captured earlier - needs rescued by his/her party members from.

As an aside, if anyone would like to play monsters or enemies - that would also be fine.

I always found that having at least one evil character in the party really fleshes out character development as a whole with the rest of the good PCs. The thing to remember with this sort of configuration is to allow for plenty of ways for the evil character to benefit or lose out in large events and how his actions have consequences.

The big thing here, is how good with teamwork the evil character is in relation to the rest of the party. Does he/she do the right thing for the wrong reasons, like saving or aiding a party member, just in order to get them under their debt and blackmail later? The reverse is true as well, will the rest of the party even care if he were to get in big trouble and would be worth saving? It would be hard to justify that if that evil PC was being an asshole to the rest of the party all of the time.

Well I am really looking to play gestalt considering I already have a concept forming in my head for it. As for the good or evil my concept tends toward the good spectrum though as a runaway she will have done some things that she is not proud of to survive putting her on the chaotic or neutral end on the other side of the spectrum.

I'm a Faerun nut, having played Baldur's Gate for the PS 2, both Dark Alliance 1 and 2, so if I seem a little nuts about it I hope you can forgive me for it lol.  Artemis, Errtu, Bruenor, Wulfgar, Cattie-Brie, and of course Drizzt I know from R.A. Salvatore's series of books.  If I reference anything from them, don't be surprised is all I'm saying lol.  Anyway, I'm a Chaotic Good as far as my character goes; not because of any distaste for the law, just she doesn't like getting close to people if she can help it.  And, let's just say she has a big thing against orcs.

Wand, figurine, heck it could be a staff as far as I am concerned it just sounds rather cool to have another character carried around with me that I can summon at will. Be even better if she can communicate with me even in whatever form she takes sort of like the talking sword scenerio.

Well now, it does seem like your character does love pink, so that is a good option for her. Going bare legged would also be quite the treat since the more of your luscious drow skin you show, the better.

Perhaps this?

I'm going to do something I rarely do.  Play female.   (Simply because I can't find a picture that I like better)   :-)

1. http://www.urdsite.netfirms.com/images/urd_outerspace.jpg

2. Ayesha

3. Ranger

4. Ayesha is the only child of a celestial being and an elven maiden.  What she knows is that the celestial being visited her mother when she was resting one evening by a pool in the wilderness.   She believes that her birth was foretold by the Gods themselves and that they have a purpose for her yet undisclosed.  Ayesha was raised among true elves (specifically, a small community of grey elves) and in spite of her apparent alien appearance, she has proven to be not only adept at magic but equally adept with the bow.

5. Half Elf/Half Celestial.  Alignment is Neutral Good.

6. Because of the circumstances surrounding her consummation/birth, she shows no apparently interest in either men or women.   During combat, she prefers to remain out of reach by flight to rely on arrows to neutralize her foes.
