Indeed, in the anime/manga there is an actual force that forcefully keeps him calm; which is probably his 'racial' ability kicking in and he seems not to realize it (at least so far as I know, in the manga he may actually notice it but in anime was not shown).

Ah, I had forgotten about it then. But does not show much later and overall his personal exploration is cut off as he then starts to focus more on the world he is in.

For Eirian the adaption will seem unproblematic, AT FIRST. She has (unthinkingly) designed her character to be rather close to herself. But there are a few smaller disimilarities, and her false sense of familiarity will increase the shock. For example, Eirian is tomboyish, lanky and demisexual + sexual apathic, while Eerie is petite and demisexual only. Also while Eirian has her special interests in STEM, for Eerie tinkering is a true obsession. And while Eirian has a strong sense of justice and is cognitively empathic, Eerie has a stronger "thou shall not stand hypocrisy nor lawful stupidity" trend.

So while others might have to cope with clearly visible merging problems, Eerie will be bitten in her petite behind by less obvious meshing problems. I hope I'll succeed in portraying those nuances.
Disclaimer (WIP)
English isn't my native language. I'm deeply rooted in a culture with significantly different (much more direct) communcation strategies than typical for the extremely polite british or canadian cultures, or the "optimistic" approach often used in the USA. Additionally, I'm not neurotypical in several ways, warping my perception and communication to an even further degree.

But: my english is JUST good enough to lull many readers into a false sense of security. Think of it as the communicative equivalent to "false friends words" which, while extremely similar in outward appearance in two languages, mean something slightly but importantly different. Like "I want to become a steak" makes perfect sense to a german... that still would prefer not to be butchered.

So please, if you perceive my words as rude, my intentions as unemotional or just weird: ask me. I'm not always successful in my attempts to correctly guess the fluff and embellishments needed for successful communication. Not in my native german tongue, much less so in english. Please do not interpret them as bad intent, but feel free to ask for clarifications. I'll try my best to solve such misunderstandings, and learn to prevent them.

Player Character

PC Name: Tempest
Nickname: The Dark Storm, She who dwells in shadow,
Age: Unknown
Race: Nightmares
Calling: Warlock
Dark Impulse: Deranged

Description: Tempest Stands 5'6'' tall before counting her horns. Platinum blonde hair that falls in messy waves down to bid back. Though her hair often contains different colors, depending on her mood that day. Her ears come to fine points, and often twitch or turn bright red when she is aroused. She has a curvy, nearly perfect hourglass figure. Her most striking features though are the two dark horns that balance perfectly on her head. And the scars that mar her back. Though she often hides these scars beneath her outfits and armor. Her outfits tend to run on the dark side. Having to delve into the shadows more often than not she believes it to be easier. They also tend to be tight yet easy to move in, light with leather armors and the occasional stronger armor when hitting a raid. But nothing that would impede her movements. Being a nightmare Tempest  has to hide her demon-like features from the world often to fit in. So its just become second nature to use her illusion magic to hide her horns, ears and tail.

Tempest boasts a confident and boisterous attitude, blunt, and hedonistic to a fault. She embraces everything this life has to offer them, and is always down for a good time or a good heist. There is more to her then meets the eye though as she is often found talking to herself. No doubt the strange voice within her mind that pushes Tempest to her reckless deeds. It is a quick that those close to her have gotten used to, even if it is a bit unsettling at times. As it seems that the voice within her mind knows things it shouldn't. And as creepy as that is, it has managed to save her party more than once. So it is a quirk they have all learned to accept.

Tempest moods can be as wild as a storm itself. Sometimes calm, sometimes wild and raging. But that isn't to say she is a loose cannon at all times. She simply needs to be reeled in from time to time. She also enjoys the strange and unusual. From her small rather creepy fox companion, to the ability to crawl on walls like a spider. She delves into the world of magic and shadow because it feels most natural for her there. Though she is a rogue at heart, and can often be found in possession of something that may or may not belong to her. And as unpredictable as she can be at times, Tempest has always managed to land on her feet.

Background: Tempest doesn't remember much before the moment she woke up on a battlefield surrounded by bodies. Her own body is a wreck of pain and bloodied scars. They say nightmares are born from tragedy and pain, it would seem her origins were no different. Having no memory of her past, Tempest stumbled from the battle field with nothing but her wit and abilities to protect her. She delved into the world, searching for answers she has yet to find. Starting with nothing Tempest struggled to get by, so she turned to other means of funding her travels and procuring items of worth. It wasn't the most honest way to get by, but it was a living.

She caught the attention of one of the founding members of the Obsidian Demons guild when she managed to steal right off of him. Sure he realized what happened, and eventually found her. But instead of killing her off, he decided to give the option to join them. Having been on her own for so long Tempest was hesitant at first. But as they say, the offer was too good to resist. So she entered into the guild as a rookie, and soon her abilities became well known. Mainly her ability to create magical items and warp the mind. She's actually worked her magic on countless items for her fellow guild members. Gaining a high reputation for the quality of goods she could produce.

Years passed and Tempest worked her way up the ranks of the Obsidian Demons Guild. Earning her reputation and her rank with her deeds and abilities. A dark force within the guild. A twisted and at times an uncontrollable mess, Tempest has become a dark force within the guild. One that you only trifled with if and when you were able to handle the full force of a Tempest.

Player

Name: Ellaria Eloise Jackson
User Name: DarkEnigma
Age: 27
Nationality: American
Occupation: Nurse
Personality: Ellaria has the best bedside manner. She is the sweetest and most attentive person one may ever meet. Always the caretaker and never the one that lets someone take care of them. Ellaria or El to her friends is often described as helpful, kind, soft hearted and wonderful to her patients. But as wonderful as she comes off, Ellaria has the hardest time really opening up to someone. She's been hurt before, so she keeps her innermost self hidden from the world. Though that wildness and confident nature comes out in her game play because it is a world she can be free in.

Ellaria cares deeply when she lets someone in though. Once you're family, you're always family. This has led to her heart being broken but it is still something that proves true despite that fact. One to oftentimes lose herself to the stories they roleplay online. She's often gone without sleep and proper nutrition simply to stay lost in the world she felt so free in.

History: Ellaria's mother died when she was born, so she was left being raised by her father. Though if truth be told she was the one left raising him more often then not. Her father either worked all the time, or drank all the time. There was no in between in his life, so she was left caring for him after his drunken rages or long shifts at work. This isn't to say that he didn't care about his little girl. But something in him was just lost when her mother died. And honestly she believes that he blames her for it to this day.

Growing up fast because of her home life Ellaria found herself falling into the caretaker role even after high school. Having gained high marks she turned to the medical field and became a nurse. And despite her past, she found that her patients loved her and her demeanor. Gaining several rewards for her service as she fell into her role as caretaker with familiar ease. It wasn't till her father passed that things shifted in her life. Having lost a huge part of herself Ellaria ran from her life for a while by getting lost in a game world. The video game she found herself drawn to allowed her to become something...someone else. Wrapping a bit of her own personality within Tempest, she allowed herself to simply be. This became one of the most freeing feelings in her life. So she quickly became addicted to playing the game, and getting lost to the rp.

Today she spends most of her free time either gaming or sketching the beautiful scenes they all roleplayed online and sharing them with her fellow guild members. Though she never forgets her role as caretaker, she always returned to the real world to do just that. Even if it meant letting herself and her needs fall to the side. Ellaria knows her life is simple, but it's one she enjoys despite what she has lost. Hoping beyond hope that one day she could have a real adventure, and maybe even let her real self shine through someday. But until then her game world would have to do. That is why when the announcement of her main game being shut down and changed hit so hard. Years of game play, years of farming, and years of building relationships with her fellow guild members were about to be changed or lost completely. So with a sad heart she logs on for the last big hurrah of the Obsidian Demons guild.

Hope you'd confirm the mana for zealot, as it isn't listed - I put 50 for that reason, though questioning it a little since it seems a bit odd. If it was intentional that's perfectly alright, but would like it confirmed. Might change around her gear a little if it wasn't intentional.

Player Character

PC Name: Eris Delmaghan
Nickname: N/A
Age: 2700 (Most of which spent in hibernation)
Race: Runefolk
Calling: Zealot
Dark Impulse: Cruel - You enjoy the pain and misery of others, going out of your way to make sure they experience it. Simply killing isn’t enough - that tends to be an end to the cruelty. But the face of someone watching those they care about die? That’s perfect. The pain of others helps you justify your own wretched existence

Description: Eris favored simpler solutions to problems. She wasn't one to amuse grand schemes, she showed a strong preference for removing the complications. Every step of a plan was one that could go wrong and should be removed if possible. She'd never strike someone as the type to play the long game, if it could be solved with force, that was as good of an option as any. While her speech wasn't machine-like, some might be inclined to compare it to just that - Direct, not a smidge of manipulative abilities, just a firm belief in her own stance on a topic. Being direct became something of a trope for her - Efficiency was the name of the game - She wasn't someone who'd yield to junior members of the guild for instance, she'd keep walking, walking over them if that became necessary. Not that it was ever a problem, the firmness of her walk could be heard halfway across the guild-dungeon, and anyone who'd been in the guild for some time knew she treated the halls like they were one-way streets.

That said, she wasn't heartless just because she played her race to a T. Being chronically online, she was overrepresented in helping prospects form parties for dungeons, often partaking herself even if it was far below her skill-level.

In terms of cash-shop items, Eris had a fairly moderate relationship to it, mostly sticking to dyes that couldn't otherwise be obtained. Most notably, her outfit, being available in nothing but a hideous green from a high-level hunt, was meticulously designed and re-designed with shop-dyes. Eris stated that while she loved the design, finding colors that gave it its "deserved elegance" was no easy feat. Otherwise, she acquired an animation switch that removed the breathing-animations, the change being a runefolk-exclusive item. Lore-wise, while runefolk didn't need to breathe, their bodies still needed to shift due to the mechanisms that drove them. Being committed to the elegance of her character, Eris paid the price to disable it.

Background: "You have but one job - Solve my problems" That was the command that Eris had been left with. Named after the late wife of her creator, she never even had the chance to learn his name. She never had a chance to be activated, her creator was slain in cold blood by the people whom her task would, in part, have been to protect him from. Thusly, when she was reactivated, centuries after she was first created, by an archeological team, she was at best, confused.

After all, her task had been to serve her creator. But, looking at the astounded archeologists, she could put two and two together without issue. Neither one had any part in her creation. Without a master to guide her however, she had to follow his instructions to the best of her ability. They were not meant to be in his abode, she removed them from it, and dealt with the chance of them returning as well. With that sorted, she didn't have any other key roles to fill. Her master was dead, and had been for a while, so she didn't have anyone to answer to. Her programming stated that in that instance, she should just live on. Get stronger, find someone else to serve, make herself useful to those whose vision she could align herself with.

Player
Name: Maeve Dowey (First name shared)
User Name: BreakNeck
Age: 29 (Shared that she's in her late 20s)
Nationality: Irish, North-Ireland specifically (Shared)
Occupation: Senior Customer Service Representative for a courier company (Shared that she works in customer service, nothing more specific)
Personality: Service-forward - Outgoing - Attentive - Cheery - Problem-solver
A stark contrast from the iron front her character portrays, Maeve made her character in-game about as different from herself as she could to play into the role-playing element of it. In real life, she was born for the job she does. Easy-going and chatty without being obnoxious about it, she finds a great deal of joy in her job, being able to assist the customers of the company she works at, making their day a little easier. Off the clock, she's much the same, but tends to find that she's had her fill when the clock ticks past 4. Playing a character who wasn't naturally chatty like she herself is, it became something of a "hack" to sneak in more time among people without burning herself running her batteries on empty.

History:
Maeve is, and has always been, painfully middle-class. Though her parents divorced in her early years, it was never a big deal. More "two Christmas!" than "No, I don't want to be with mom this weekend!". It just came down to her parents liking each other's company, but both wanting different things romantically. Very different things, as it turned out, but it wasn't an issue, it just meant she had two households who both welcomed her into her arms.

Growing up, she was never anything exceptional - Maeve was well-spoken, made friends at a normal rate, but wasn't anything to write home about academically. Struggling in some subjects, excelling in others. Her initial ambition was to become a hair-stylist, but realizing that she'd probably never end up owning a house, heck she'd barely make rent, going that route, she pivoted last second. Being too late to apply for higher education, she ended up finding a customer service job at a relatively fresh courier company. To be more specific, she was the customer service, the only other office-workers was the boss and the route planner, neither of which had time to handle incoming calls on top of their usual duties. It was a bit slow at first, but it gave her a good look into every aspect of the business, and she'd occasionally find herself driving her personal car in the evenings to help out with deliveries.

Over the years, the company grew exponentially, and she became the senior service rep. Though Maeve was offered a middle-manager role, she ultimately declined it, feeling like she wasn't ready for it, and she'd miss the customer interaction too much. Having "mastered" her job already, it was a comfortable place to be, the pay was good enough to live off of, and she found herself with plenty of time to bask in her favorite passtime.

Sorry, that was my bad as when I was doing the conversion I had D&D on the brain where faith based don't use 'magic' so was lumping it in all others but now realize that their main ability uses mana after conversion so updated it.  It would be the same as the Ranger since Zealot is basically the Paladin of the game.  So you can up it to 125.  Also approved, character looks great.

Calling Abilities:
Artificer You gain a downtime action which you can only use to incant rituals to make magic items. These rituals also require one less special requirement than usual

You roll 0d on anything else. It's knocked out of a scene when bloodied and magically returns during recovery. You can spend Mana to cast a tier 1 spell through it.
Grand Sorcery You can choose a second path for your Sorcery core ability and can cast from any sorcery path with only a single magic focus
Flexibility Slot:
Dark Mind You can compel other PCs to action just as if the GM had compelled them. If they accept, you gain a dark heart. If they decline, you take Mana. The GM is still the final judge of what is an appropriate compel

Weapons & Specialty Items:
Protection amulet - As simple as the name is, this amulet has saved her life more then once. Protecting her from attacks that would have normally landed with ease. She created this item after nearly loosing her character during a raid.
Shadow walker ring- Received during a series of mission that took her into a dark realm where she faced a group of shadow demons to gain their treasures. This ring allows her to vanish into shadow, and perform short teleportation between shadows. Though this ring is handy, it is limited to the fact that there HAS to shadows present to use.
Spiders dance ring - The first magical item that she received during a raid that had her dealving into the Spider Queen's cave. Upon beating the boss of the raid she gained it during a random drop. This item allows her to walk on any surface like a spider.
The Starlight Twin Daggers - These daggers were are a dazzling display of her ability to create magical items. Having taken a great deal of foraging and forging, these daggers are her pride and joy. They are drenched in her magic, and have the ability to syphon mana from her opponents.

O&Os:
Character looks great though you would need other art since that is AI art and I did indicate no AI art for the characters, otherwise the whole character looks great.

The image has waifu_lab signature and if google it, it's an AI image generator site. Besides that if you watch lots AI generated images you can notice certain patterns with them; background blurry, hair done in almost messy/liquid-like, eye details not good or unclear, and some spots highly polished while others are bland etc. Ofc it can depend on the site where the image is generated, but the signature indicates clearly its origin.

Yeah, as he said Waifu_Labs list themselves as a AI generator on Tiktok but it fairly tell tale in the detail.

Alright, thank you, I've upped the MP amount to the appropriate level and modified one piece of her gear to give a 25/25 split of HP and MP, rather than being exclusively MP. Posted to the character thread.

I'll throw my perspective on the bandwagon, as it is getting harder to tell them apart. Reverse search engines like https://iqdb.org/ tend to be excellent tools for finding out the source of artwork, most artists will also sign their art, AI art typically won't be signed. With new imagesets coming out it's getting harder to tell artwork apart from AI created ones, but being able to reverse-search your way to an artist tends to help. Reverse search through services like google lens or Yandex tends to be good ways too, if iqdb fails.

Plus most AI-generating sites ask login and if somebody uses the generator it stores the art in the user's own art gallery (even if it's not publicized). At least the site I use does use that mechanic.

I was a big fan of your image! I too was wanting to use some AI imagery to represent my character. Now I'm having trouble picking some art for a character. Most of the character art I've been collecting recently is AI generated and I keep wanting to play them as I look through my folder. I've got a ton of AI elves and Succubi

Yeah I was super happy with that image too. I’ll have to see if I find another one that speaks to the muse.

PC Name: Death Fanatic Sword Demon
Nickname: Kiryu
Age: 2998
Race: Runefolk
Calling: Marauder
Dark Impulse: Reckless

Description: Kiryu is a battle hungry, PvP maniac who doesn't hesitate to drive his blade into his opponents. He constantly craves the high of intense battles, constantly trying to challenge more and more impossible situations. Kiryu dons intimidating jet-black heavy armour and swings around a two-handed greatsword as if it were light as a dagger. During battle, his eyes glow red and if his helmet were to ever be removed during a fight, a wicked grin would be permanently stuck on his face.

Kiryu is a man of action and not so much one of diplomacy. If there was a situation that could be resolved with a swing of his blade, he'd always opt for the violent solution rather than wait for a diplomatic resolution. As a result, he was often not put in charge of important decisions.

While his favoured weapon is indeed the greatsword, he has mastered every melee weapon in the game, from fist weapons, all the way to the most cumbersome of weapons. His goal is to reach 1000 kills with each weapon type. It was something he decided to do after he practically beat the game with the rest of his guildmates, just to have something to do.

The cash shop items that Kiryu has are cosmetic, making sure his armour always looks the most intimidating and that his weapons look the coolest and scariest. He prefers to earn his OP drops rather than buy them from a store.

Background: (A quick description of your character’s in game lore you designed as part of the guild.) Kiryu is a runefolk who had lost his memories. He wasn't sure what he was doing beforehand but when he finally regained his consciousness, he was in the middle of a gruesome battlefield with what he assumed were the dead bodies of his enemies strewn about the miles long field of blood and gore. It was him alone that survived and all he could feel was the exhilaration of battle and the adrenaline flowing through his body.

Not knowing his own name, others started to call him the "Death Fanatic Sword Demon" but due to his ominous message before killing his foes "I kill you," people have begun to refer to him as "Kiryu" as well. "Battle Maniac Kiryu," "Death Dealer," "Manic Swordsman," "Demonslayer," and much more are his various aliases as he wreaked chaos and mayhem all over.

While he might not remember his past, he remembers, quite clearly, his thirst for blood and battle.

Age: 32
Nationality: Japanese
Occupation: Salaryman for a black company
Personality: (List at least five words that would best describe your character and explain the terms further. You can even write a summary of your character's personality instead.)
Pessimist | Nonconfrontational | Cautious | Meticulous | Greedy
Seiya, unlike his character, is a cautious meticulous man who plans every step he takes. He is very routine oriented, even to the point of getting into the train through the same door and standing in the same spot every morning. His outlook on life is rather bleak, believing that humans existed for the sole purpose of generating wealth for the people in the upper echelon. He doesn't have much ambition in his life, all he wanted to do was wake up, go to work, return home and then spend the rest of his night playing games until he had to sleep and repeat the same process.

He was able to release his stress through roleplaying as Kiryu, someone who was his complete opposite. He was sure that if they swapped places, Kiryu would be able to rise to the top of the society... or probably end up just killing everyone. Either result didn't sound too bad to Seiya. Being able to release some steam through his aggressive PvP hunting made life bearable and he realised that even Seiya had some desires. He was greedy and he wanted what others vied for, taking it all for himself.

Despite being a coward in real life, he at least didn't want to behave in the same manner roleplaying as Kiryu, so he made him as edgy as humanly possible. At least before the point of cringing at himself.

History: (A brief history of your character in the real world and what they were doing up until they were brought wholly into this new world.)
Seiya is a salaryman working for a black company, which in simple terms is a company that forces its workers to work well past their limits. As an underachiever in school, this was the only job he could get and he felt like he only had to suffer this for a few years before he'd be able to find a new job. That belief was when he was 22, it is now ten years later and he is still working to death at the same shitty company. If it weren't for the game, he might've gone and done something drastic by now, but he was able to meet some people through his guild and was able to socialise at least in game. Seiya was convinced that this was all he needed and he was satisfied.

He has no family, other than a sister that ignores his existence. Seiya is able to live reasonably comfortably with the inheritance his parents and grandparents left him.

Hello. I haven't been on the forums for a hot few minutes, mainly just lurking forever and a half.
I saw this thread and it reminded me of the one Zaer Darkwail had a few years ago and I feel intrigued enough to join me if you'll have me.

Looking over the characters that have been made now, lots of physical and magical powerhouses.
I was thinking I'd make a Conniver... someone that... while not a front line fighter, was pulling the strings in the background and always seems to be able to squirm his way out of a direct confrontation.
Greasing palms with ill gotten gold so we can have materials for forging and magic research.
Undermining the forces of good with temptations of glory, power, and money and just having a laugh when they are betrayed.

I'll start building one, but let me know if you already have too many players.

Timeless

The GM is still looking for players, and I don't think we have that many just yet. So you're definitely welcome to make a character - and that sounds like an awesome idea, regardless!

Zaer Darkwail

Indeed, I ran similar concept albeit in system game years ago. Also there is still room and the concept sounds pretty good as we do indeed have physical might, magical and tinkerers. So social manipulator would round out very well.

And yes, to follow up on this, we are still accepting characters.  I didn't start with a specific player number in mind.  While I do have a set plot idea for the world and the guild as they try to get accustomed and deal with this new world, and their new bodies, there is some wiggle room for people to do their own thing as well.  And we certainly have room for more social ideas like the Conniver.

Player Character

PC Name:  Rikitiki Tan
Nickname: Riki, That Bastard Motherfu-
Age: Appears to be in his late 30s
Race: Human
Calling: Conniver
Dark Impulse: Bigmouth: You can't hold your tongue, whether that means being obnoxiously rude, a horrendous braggart, a nonstop liar, or you can't help but let the truth slip out. You delight in people hearing you speak, no matter whether it hurts you, them, or your allies.

Description: Riki has the look and demeanor of a vagabond. Elias had worked diligently in sculpting him to look inconsequential to other players in Gehenna Online. The only really noticeable traits about him is that his face has a slight monkey appearance with ears just slightly too big and a nose that pulls down like a chimp's.  He's not one to look flashy, or bad ass or the hero of their own story. While others in the Obsidian Demons looked like living nightmares of raw physical and magical power, Elias took Riki in a different direction. A direction that made Riki appear trustworthy to other players. Riki is not dangerous as a fighter or magic user, he's a social engineer, worming his way into guilds and getting access to guild banks or sowing division into those guild members and breaking it up before they would become a threat to the Obsidian Demons. He is calculating and devious behind a smarmy façade of the drunken tavern local. He has information for newbie adventurers and is always looking for an angle on his next hustle. While Elias would have loved to gloat over people that fell for his deceptions in game, he had to keep it to himself or brag about it within the Guild Hall of the Obsidian Demons... or else he would have to make a new character. Due to the nature of his playstyle and work for the Guild, Riki has routinely left and rejoined the guild numerous times. Only in the final months of the game has he decided to stay permanently in the guild until Gehenna Online's servers were deactivated, to cement once and for all where his true loyalties laid.

Background: Born to a poor family, Rikitiki Tan left at an early age and struck out on his own as an adventurer. To his shock, he was rather abysmal in magic and not much of a swordsman either. After many days with empty stomachs, Riki would decide to help parties and guilds in other ways. He would take on the roles of cooking, bookkeeping, information brokering, maintaining gear, and any other numerous tasks that were 'beneath' lazy adventurers, earning himself a cut of any rewards offered because of his efficiency in keeping a group moving with little downtime. With his brains and quick tongue, Riki would skim more and more off the top of reward money and treasures and in turn work city auction houses for bigger rewards to climb towards a life of luxury.

It was none other than the Obsidian Demons that he had attempted to con too much out of and rather than destroy him utterly and reveal to the world what a shyster and fraud he was, they took him in to use as their eyes and ears and mole. Initially an amusing cat and mouse game, the Guild and Riki eventually decided it was in both their efforts to work together. Riki would have the safe haven of the Obsidian Demons in exchange for a wide and far reaching information and logistics network.

Strings: You can spend Mana to have an ally remember your voice in their head, allowing them to reroll a failure. If they roll a success, you gain a dark heart. What criticism or advice did you previously impart on them.

Calling Abilities:
Intuition Others are an open book to you. You can spend Mana to establish a target's emotional state, though it must be a reasonable emotion for them to be feeling. You take +1d when you act on that knowledge
Tongues You can speak the Light Tongue, albeit with a strong, monstrous accent. How does a monster like you even learn to speak the language of civilization?
Weaving the Web On a success during a flashback or downtime action to interact with contacts, you gain a dark heart. You also gain a downtime action which you can only use to contact a vile friend, faction, or other NPC.

Flexibility Slot:
Slippery: You're tough to pin down. On a success when resisting an enemy attack, you can also (choose one): disappear from their sight - pick their pocket - reposition behind them.

Weapons & Specialty Items:
-Coward's Wooden Ring, a World Drop Item, let's the user trade MP for HP only when the user is at full HP as well as displacing them 10feet. Riki has used it to intimidate many a hotheaded PVPer that thought he would be an easy target
-Ring of Elven Mortality, a Cash Shop Item that many Human players liked to purchase. It allows them to age like Elves... slowly over the millennia
-Mana Shadow Ring, a ring that conceals the MP of the wearer
-Glibness Necklace, forged by guild member to allow the wearer to pass off as a regular human in looks and speech. Initial impressions of the wearer make World Denizens feel 'something is off' that fades away as they talk with the wearer more.
-Black Knives, nothing special about them, save the light sucking black metal blades are nearly invisible at night.
-Ring of Obsidian Demons, how else would Riki be able to enter the Guild Hall when not technically a member?

Name: Elias McDowell
User Name: Rikitiki
Age: 35
Nationality: United States
Occupation: Senior IT Manager at a Logistics Company
Personality: Elias is good natured at his core, but years of dealing with tech incompetent people and managers that want the moon delivered yesterday has ground him down into a no nonsense and shrift man that is eternally tired. Despite being exhausted, his outlet for frustration at work was Gehenna Online where he could screw around and test strategies and skills for work in a harmless game. He made no illusions that he wasn't a great PVPer, instead Elias took up the mantle of the old Evo Online corporate players, being a corporate spy and inside man for his true guild friends. He was pretty adept at keeping his work and online lives separate, or else his company might have become afraid of having a grey hat hacker and confidence man with intimate knowledge of their code base, inner working and business practices.

History: Elias grew up as an intelligent child that readily took to computers and learning. His parents decided to enroll him into school in the same age group as his peers, but made sure that teachers gave him classwork that was three or four grades ahead to keep him engaged. He never graduated high school, instead taking the GED and taking college certifications and programming classes and getting started early with his career.

He joined a start up logistics company and put together their computer network, hardware, and software as the boss focused on expanding the business and hiring truckers, office workers and brokers. His life is pretty sadly standard to many other people in the world... he works to survive and as long as he gets a few hours a week to unwind and play some games all the better. Even though he has long work hours, he was paid enough that he wasn't living paycheck to paycheck and actually had a decent apartment and decent food, well on his way to a lonely retirement... before being transported into Gehenna with the other guildmembers.

Dunno if people watch General Sam or not, and I wouldn't presume other characters' actions or demeanors, but this video feels like a typical banter between Kiryu, Karn and Rikitiki when they played Gehenna

@Kakihara, I picked Tongues because I'm expecting that being a part of the Obsidian Demons Guild Dungeon turns us into something 'other' than World Denizens that would let them recognize us as monsters or something that isn't part of the Civilized Races. The Glibness Necklace would be something to help further smooth over his interactions with Civilization. If its too powerful, I can think of another item easily enough.

The character looks good and I don't think the necklace would be OP.  Language would have been a simple thing in game but yeah it will certainly be a bigger thing in this world since it will have not system menu to help. But the character looks good.  Approved.  Please post your character sheet in the Character sheet thread in the thread.  I posted a link on the first page as realized I didn't have that up there.

Ok, we officially have enough characters to qualify for a big group game which I put through and a board is up under the Extreme section here:  https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?board=696.0

I think we have one or two more people working on characters and I'm just finishing up some of the Floor Guardian stuff to put up.  So I'm aiming to get an intro post up by maybe Thursday, would aim for Wed but have some things after work that I believe will slow that down.
