QUESTION! Are half-breeds permitted, and in that case would it result in a lesser variant of the traits of either/both species, or just one of the two's?

Now this is a question I find interesting, no one else thought to ask me... That being said, yes! Half-Breeds are indeed possible, just be wary that trying to make Half-Breeds of two different world races (one Nexus, one Malus) would be tricky because there's only a 30 year window for the two to interact before present day. However, if they're of the same world, then go nuts!

We might benefit from more front line presence, so to speak. We have mostly casters, and there are a couple healing options covered, so a solid foe mower would do us good!

I mean, Randall and Alethina, especially together, are a pretty good frontline, I'd say.
More tanks than DPS, so to speak, admittedly, so maybe someone smashy could round things out nicely there.

True, a solid DPS who isn't shy to get up close. I mean, for reference, Ren can throw a guy in full plate like a doll but she has no armor to speak of, so she would prefer to go in and out of reach, offsetting her gap in defense.

I was thinking of going with a half-goblin. Short as hell but otherwise human seeming. I was thinking of something close-to-mid range for her weapon like a whip.

Also, if it's not a problem for anyone, while she identifies as "she", she would have a little more than the basic female arrangement.

No problems here if she's packing a little extra, I didn't really preclude those from being possible when I started this, and to be fair we DO have a few more ladies than not.

Name: Srealk Booyagh Vaws-Hak
Age: 30 - in goblin years, human age is 25.
Species: Goblin/Human Hybrid
Racial Ability: Versatility, no carryover from goblin ancestry
Gender: True Gonadal Hermaphrodite, with female appearance and both sets of external sexual characteristics.
Description: Srealk is tall... by goblin standards; standing at four feet and eleven inches of height. She possesses a very slender and wiry build with prominent but not bulging musculature. Given her height and thin figure, her other proportions are rather generous, particularly where her sexually defining characteristics are concerned with a generous bust, pronounced hips, long legs and an unnaturally large endowment. She possesses layered black hair which is wild but straight, streaked with magenta strokes that match an underlayer as well as her piercing, animalistic gaze that lends to itself a slight, unnatural shimmer.
Srealk dresses in black, easy to move in attire, typically consisting of tight shirts and separated sleeves, with a black leather half-skirt worn over a pair of flexible trousers. Her feet are adorned with matching leather shoes and her hands with matching half gloves that expose the lower half of her palm as well as her fingers.
As per goblin tradition she wears five piercings on each ear, five necklaces bearing stones of Malus origin, and possesses five tribal tattoos on her shoulderblades, lowerback, either lower leg and her underbust respectively. These tattoos are black in color and depict goblin iconography. As with other goblins, she has black claws where nails would normally sit, though they are neither sharp nor durable enough to function as anything but a peculiar permanent manicure. She has very pale skin.
Extra: Srealk's natural skin tone is the same green hue as that of goblins, but she conceals it using Booyagh.

Personality and History: Srealk was born in the early onsets of the leak of Malus into Nexus, where a goblin randomly found himself in the chambers of a noble woman of Paradi and - as goblins are wont to do - took advantage of the situation in a most unfortunate way. Summarily executed, the father of the cursed offspring - a mix of the two worlds - would never see the birth of his future daughter. Convinced by her militant father to carry the child to term with the idea of having an emissary between the races, Elenore's mother acquiesced for the time being and bore the child of her assault until it was born this fundamentally wrong thing; a mixture of human and goblin that looked like both and neither, of neither race and neither gender. She was summarily seen as a failure in her grandfather's passion project and abandoned in local forestry. As luck would have it; she would be found by a small group of goblins.

Srealk was thus raised by the goblin tribe as one of their own, baptized by them, and learning combat skills, hunting, how to blend into the environment, and how to coordinate attacks and trap foes from a young age. The shaman of the tribe also spent much precious time inculcating in her the notions of the Booyahg, known as goblin magics, in which she developed enough expertise to earn the monicker of Booyagh. She believed herself a member of the tribe and grew alongside the children of the tribe, only to realize too late that she was the only female and that there was a reason they all kept her so close. The acts that were attempted when they believed her to be "ripe" lead to a profound split in her psyche, and the annihilation of every other member of the tribe at her hands... a slaughter for which she developed a taste.

Psychologically, Elenore is a twisted sort. While she comes off as playful and impish most of the time, the natural instincts of the cruel goblins are just a thin layer away thanks to her trauma. Thus, Elenore comes off as a jovial individual with a sometimes raunchy, sometimes dark, sense of humor and a transparently lascivious personality with a sadistic streak. She has a deep appreciation for all things sex and violence, and is not shy about either topic, always perfectly transparent in her thoughts. She is the type to look for an excuse to torture and terminate anything she perceives as hostile, but is thankfully also quick to grow bored of anything that doesn't provide her with a sense of novelty. Despite all this, Elenore is deceptively clever and always devoid of hesitation, first to throw herself into a conflict when the need is felt and eager to visit injury and death upon anyone deemed appropriate.   

Advantages and Weaknesses:
+ Hyperflexible Acrobatics : Srealk is extremely flexible, double-jointed from top to bottom, and has an incredible sense of gravity and ease of movement allowing her to perform acrobatics and feats of dexterity with supreme ease. (Combat)
+ Trapper : Srealk is incredibly proficient at setting traps and baiting enemies into them, whether with elaborate mechanisms or something as simple as caltrops. (Combat)
+ Enchanting Gaze : Srealk's eye contact is sufficient to instill a supernatural form of intimidation, or seduction, upon others. (Social)
+ Torturer : Srealk can easily make someone submit once they're within her clutches, and say whatever she wants them to say, given enough... time. (Both)
- Small : Srealk is very light and easy to displace, lift, or toss around for both friends and foes (Combat)
- Unicorn on main : Srealk can't resist a pretty woman's affections, and offers of erotic activity, unless the woman in question is obviously an enemy... ...and even then it's still tempting, if not at least distracting.
- Transparent : Srealk cannot lie to save her life.

Force Weapon: Ran'sharat, or "Purple Dominator" is a whip that can retract to form an estoc a foot above her own height. It possesses a purple orb at its pommel through which she channels her spells.
Abilities:
Physical: - Yat : The goblin word for "Change", shifts Srealk between a whip and an estoc, allowing her to use it as either in combat.
Magic: - Rail : The goblin word for "Pink", Srealk can general clones of herself to assist her in combat or labor, though they are all magenta in color, monochromatic, and incapable of speech, leaving no doubt as to which is the original. This is limited to up to three clones who possess a quarter of her durability and strength, but equate her otherwise.
Support: - Booyagh : The goblin word for "Magic", changes the properties of Srealk or something she is touching, either making it up to twice as large or heavy, half as large or heavy, changing the way senses perceive it (look/smell/sound/touch,loudness), or re-opening/closing present and past injuries, fissures, and ruptures. Akin to forms of prestidigitation.

I'm actually rather surprised at how quickly she came out! I expected at least another day. : p

But ooh, Srealk came out quite nice... If suitably broken and violent! Adorable little monster for a gobbo girl picture-wise, but that history... I can't imagine anyone more tragic in the game. But she's probably in the right group if she wants to get violent with her enemies, gods know I think most of us are.

Upside to her, I can tell she's gonna be getting into plenty of fun with all the girls with her proclivity for the fairer sex. xD

Mweheheheh, don't underestimate the humans. >:3 Even if it's just Grave and Randall (and technically 1/2 of Srealk), don't disregard 'em, they gonna be capable of as many amazing feats as the monsters in time!

I also pondered over giving Ren a tail but, it wouldn't look too good with the tailcoat. So I'm on the fence with that.

Hm, I can't speak for Randall... But I know Grave is kind of indifferent to it. He's just got broken views of the world around him, so unless he had vested interest in people, he'd be indifferent to them dying. : p And would probably have even done in a few of them, Nexusian or Malusites, if they stood opposed to him for any reason.

That being said, considering how grouchy he is to start the game off, he's not exactly possessed of a good opinion of the demons either. =p He just kinda hayes everyone equally and needs some time to begin adjusting to them.
