Asking here since it may interest possible new additions to the RP:

Several characters are at the White Lotus because they are attending a wedding. Are you looking at specific characters for that event (like a bride and groom for instance) and is that going to be a GM event too?

Thanks for the question! I had planned to write the NPCs that we needed for GM led events. However, I am willing to allow writers to play NPCs if they have proven themselves as active in the game.

Outside of GM led events, I am also allowing players to mention and have brief interactions with NPCs that they create, as long as their involvement in the scene is not too consequential. I don't mind a writer having their character say hello to an NPC that they describe as a guest or a worker, as long as that NPC does not in any way conflict with existing characters, stories, and scenes.

I am willing to hear character concepts if someone wanted to make an NPC into a playable character! Everything is open as a possibility!

I am always open to adding more characters into the mix. Personally, I think it works out better when people make the character that they want to write rather than looking at a character that may be potentially missing from the story. So, if you have an idea for a character, then by all means, please send me a CS when you get the chance!

We can certainly discuss ideas and I can answer any questions you may have along the way!

This is still a great time to join the game. We just got started with the big GM-led event (a wedding at the resort!) and every hotel guest is invited! Mazel tov!
