Small Bio: Patricia considered herself a pretty plain girl.  She felt the other girls in her high school were smarter or prettier or better at everything.  People started to change her sophomore year into anthros.  Unlike a lot of her classmates she didn’t feel anger or fear at these new students.  Hell her best friend turned into a rabbit and Patricia thought she was the prettiest most adorable bunny girl Patricia, Trixie to her friends, had ever seen.  She helped her friend start a club for anthros at school and hated that they suffered so much prejudice.  Other than when her time with Claire (the bunny girl), Patricia still felt like a ghost. Wandering through high school a complete unknown to everyone.  Claire was the face of the club and that was fine.  Claire liked her and that helped her carry on. 

Her senior year the two became an item.  The attention she finally received was all the wrong kind.  She was now that “lesbo bestiality girl.” She weathered it with Claire until her senior year when a massive wave of anthro transformation occurred and Trixie became her true form. 
Where she had felt like a plain jane before she felt transformed.  Her form was sleek and efficient, her fur luxurious and her tail fluffy and warm. For the first time in her life Trixie felt beautiful.  She had been so happy to show Claire when the pain of transformation had subsided, but Claire withdrew after Trixie’s transformation.  She was no longer attracted to Trixie and eventually told her so months later.  It devasted Trixie, but she couldn’t and wouldn’t have changed back if to being human if she could.  The rest of High School was misery.  Trixie pulled inward and felt the constant sting of prejudice and fear and was happy when it was all over.
 
The Demon’s attacked on graduation day.  Half of her small town died that day including Trixie’s mother.  Soon after anthros were being arrested by the town sheriff for the smallest infractions and began to go missing.  Trixie’s dad overheard her name being talked about by some of the more radical and violent racists in town.  He gave her his rifle, the keys to the family jeep and told her to leave and never come back.  That it was for her own safety.  She didn’t entirely believe him then and doesn’t now.  The jeep is long gone, but she still has her go back and her dad’s old rifle.  She helps anthros and humans when she can.  She has picked up a wealth of medical knowledge in the last few years availing herself to rescue groups, and remnants of Red Cross outfits until her being an anthro becomes more of a problem then the expertise she brings to the table.

Gear: Go bag with toiletries, a bar of soups and an extra set of clothes (a couple of old band tees, a pair of shorts, a pair of jeans and bra and panties).  Jumpsuit from her volunteer time with mountain rescue between her junior and senior year, first aid kit with about half of the supplies left.
Weapons: Alpine Shooter Sako Finnlight Hunting Rifle w/ two magazines of .308 ammo.  Survival Knife

Race: African Lioness
Small Bio: Becoming an animal was possibly the best thing to happen to Leyha. Raised in the back allies and slum houses, no parents that she can remember. Street urchin with nothing but her wits to see her through, at a very young an impressionable age she was picked up by a pimp Johnny. He fed her, clothed her and gave her a roof over her head and a day later said he now owned her and she had to pay him back. To start with he had her drug running and carrying threatening parcels between rival Street gangs.

As she grew older Leyha became a beauty and caught the eye of a particularly nasty boss. He paid Johnny a great deal of money and her virginity was sold. That night was the worst and best of her life. The boss who's name she never knew took her in ways to violent and horrific to mention, he raped her body many times until she was barely alive. He left her in his bed surrounded by blood and that's when it happened. The change. Lost in pain Leyha doesn't remember much of what happened next all she knew was when she woke the entire house hold was dead and she was....diffrent.

Leyha took this opportunity to become a new person, she left the name Leyha behind and became Queenie. She found a job in an underground club for anthros and became their top dancer. Life isn't perfect but its better then anything she had before.
Gear: handcuffs (the fluffy kind) , condoms (a girl always carries condoms), pepper spray, couple of sets of pants and bras.

Character Name: Savannah (Nana)
Character Age: 28
Race: Fox anthro (see pictures)
Small Bio:  Nana is from a proper redneck family. She is the middle child of three children. Her mother was a nurse and her father was a weaponsmith, who made traditional weapons and armors to collectors and geeks. Her father could have been described as an outdoor person, which was a nice way of saying he was a drunk who loved hunting everything that moves and making moonshine. Nana’s life was relatively normal. She learnt something about crafting weapons from her dad. Nana worked as a deputy in the local Sheriff’s department and she aimed to become a Chief Deputy Sheriff someday.

Then the Happening happened and Nana became… something. She isn’t a human anymore but she isn't a real furry either. She is some kind of weird creature in the between. For some reason only female members of her family went through this transformation. When the world had gone crazy, Nana could still trust in her family. They didn’t turn against her and they were doing okay… until the demons came.

The demon invasion was what shattered Nana’s world. They killed most of her family. She and her brother managed to escape from them. Her brother died later in the injuries he had received during their escape. When Nana returned back later, she found corpses of her parents. However her little sister was nowhere to be found, and there is a small chance that she is still alive somewhere, imprisoned by the demons.

After that Nana has been wandering around, just trying to survive. She is fueled by severe hate for the demons and she wants to kill every one of them.
Gear: Clothing, water bottle, portable water filter, fishing kit, fire-starter, flashlight, antibiotic ointment, gauze, compass, multi-tool, tarp tent, blanket, titanium pot, sharpening stone.
Weapons: Glaive, KelTec P17 pistol with one and half clip of ammo. In total 25 bullets, a hunting knife.
Skills: Hunting, melee fighting, crafting (traditional weapons and armor)   
Fears: Being captured by the demons, being helpless.

Character Name: Mikael West
Character Age: 41
Race: Human
Small Bio: 
Mikael was born to not wealth but financial comfort. Good father a general in US army, he didn't need to exactly work for a living. However to his father's pride he wanted to. To his dismay, that work was entertainer. Blessed with a pretty face, instead of taking up the military line like his father and the rest of the family, he took up vblogging, youtubing and that sort of jazz. He did it all and enjoyed it.

Until the happening. He didn't change, but his motivation died. World around him changed, his entire family turned into variety of lizardfolk. Mikael decided this was the herald of the end-times and retreated to their country cabin and begun prepping. And prep he did. He has inherited his father's security retreat a little unassuming forested patch middle of a corn field. In there an underground dwelling sucked up with provisions and weaponry.

When the demon invasion kicked of, he was secure, but he also does not have any information about his family. He ventured forth and made a few contacts up with the locals, avoiding any fights he can, managing to establish a little circle of trade that originated from his little patch of forest himself acting as an innkeep and trader. Offering both a safe place to rest and a place to trade supplies.

Gear: preppie bunker (immobile), defensive perimeter (secret), chef's knife.
Weapons: Many, but he's not a very practised at using them, preferring to avoid it.
Skills: Trading, Stealth, Cooking(particularly preserving), Basic combat
Fears: Direct combat, betrayal, being alone.
Connections: Open

Note: I'm more than open to having Mikael's lil base to be a meeting spot that your characters have either visited before or have heard of.

Character Name: Jackie Barnes
Character Age: 26 (was 21 when 'Happening' happened)
Race: Human
Small Bio: Jackie had always been a fan of animes, mangas, videogames, and even amateur theater and LARPS. The usual hobbies those born in the millennial generation. He had a boring day job as a car/motorbike salesman. He did like fixing and rigging cars' and bikes in his free time, but selling them and more so sell 'junky' vechiles for unsuspecting clients left a bad taste in his mouth but he earned his salary selling than standing around. He had casual streaming as well, then 'happening' happened. Most folks changed and he kind was disappointed he did not transform at all. But then again, being human became an actual minor novelty just being one.

But he thought the new anthros were cool, as more than half his friends and even his girlfriend transformed he adapted to the new life fairly easily. Even defend friends from some narrow-minded people or even tolerate some assholes calling him 'furry fucker'. But then demons came, he was just closing the shop when mists fell and demons attacked. Countless hours playing survival games, apocalypse scenarios, gave him basic instincts and ideas on what to do. More so some LARPS had taken realistic approaches to those scenarios had taught him as well and he had a self.-educated to get into his characters in the past.

Sadly though his apartment complex had been assaulted heavily by demons, he never saw his girlfriend nor his friends again. He became a wanderer, a wandering scavenger. He eventually spotted a niche for himself as a risktaker, the guy who goes deep into a demon-infested territory to retrieve stuff. It gave him an adrenaline fix and some valuable trades. He did not care did he trade for anthros or humans, he still thinks humans placing blame on anthros stupid but he is now a minority about that opinion among humans, and displaying it openly earns him enemies. More so facing cannibals had diminished his sense of sympathy for other humans.

Albeit he has no grander goals besides survival, he still feels sympathy for anthros for getting all shit on them and more so demons favoring anthros over humans as a meal. But same time in all his survival so far and seeing so many people die, he fears he will be the last living person in the world besides demons.

Gear: Worn leather jacket, dark leather pants, military boots, and shirt. Besides that basic military survival kit along with a large backpack. A motorcycle (BMW, max 390 miles full tank).
Weapons: Special Ops Military Bayonette Military Survival Knife and a hunting crossbow with 12 steel-tipped penetrating bolts and 3 'molotov cocktail' bolts (explodes and coats target on fire).
Skills: Scavenging, Survival, Stealth
Fears: Getting killed, Be last human/man alive
Connections: (open for any, as scavenger may have sold goods to other people)

So it seems like we have a lot more human characters than furry ones.  As a result, I'm going to be stepping back since I'm not really interested in playing an anthro but in playing opposite them.  I hope you all have fun because this still looks like a fun idea!

I may have miscounted.  In that case, then, I will re-submit my interest!  Sorry if that was all overly dramatic.  Did anyone have feedback or thoughts on either of the ideas that I put forward?

The male character that I had in mind would have been a college student who worked at a public library and in the aftermath of all that's happened has sort of taken over the library as his home and defends it and what is there with the idea that he is trying to preserve knowledge and share it as best he can.  Having a character in a fixed location could be problematic though, so perhaps he ranges out to find books and expand the knowledge safeguarded at the library too.

The female character I had in mind would have been a zookeeper at a large city zoo before everything fell apart.  She'd feel very drawn to anthros while also being a bit scared of them. I hadn't thought out what she would be doing other than just trying to stay alive, possibly seeking out partners or a group to be a part of.

I think they're both interesting and would bring something fun to the game!

Now that I'm thinking about it a little more, I think the idea of a Library organization, one that recruits people to add to the vast collection of pre-Happening books to preserve history is a neat idea. So maybe your librarian isn't the librarian, but one of many working towards a common goal of keeping knowledge/culture alive. I'm sure there is the possibility of all sorts of weird niche cults to pop up in this world.

That's an interesting twist on it, Envious.  That would be up to Chreestafer on if such an organization would exist and if a PC could belong to it or if you'd prefer more of the isolation kind of vibe to things.  I do think I am leaning towards the librarian character though.

All right, I'm going to run with that idea.  My thought would be that he would be one of many "Librarians" operating out of the central library of a large town/small city university or something.  I'm open to connections with other characters too!  Anyone have ideas or suggestions?

I was going to quietly slink back into the shadows, but since a lot of people are stating their withdrawal, I figured it'd be best for me to do the same.
So yeah, sorry to say I'll probably be reconsidering my interest for this idea.

But! I want to emphasize that I still think the idea/concept is as good as when I first stumbled upon this.
Main problem for me is the same problem that was mentioned above but a bit more precise. Essentially I was hoping for a bit more of a 'male' anthro focus, but I probably should have predicted the leanings would be more female anthro leaning. (That and a few things coming up in the real world that I need to deal with).
