Another question, are the demons bestial style monsters or intelligent ones or is there a mix?

By that I mean, are they more animal-like (like Deathclaws in Fallout or other series that feature very dangerous monsters that are nonetheless basically just large animals) or are they able to reason, use tools, talk, etc?

Also, there's my first draft character sheet.  I figured since he was part of an organization, he'd have more supplies than a lot of survivors but am more than willing to edit them. Please take a look and let me know your thoughts.  I left Connections as To Be Determined and would be open to them if anyone has suggestions.

Here's a character sheet for my librarian

Player Name: Armphid
Character Name: Hamilton Chiron Mason
Character Age: 26
Race: Human
Small Bio: Hamilton Mason, who often just goes by his last name, was a college student in his Sophomore year when The Happening occurred.  The transformation of so many people, into so many forms, defied his understanding of science and the world as much as anyone else's.  But being well read in science fiction and fantasy, he was more accepting of the transformed than many humans, particularly as more than one of his friends in school changed, as did two of his cousins, one from either side of his family.  He kept in school but began to read more widely, starting to study survival manuals and medical texts, thinking that in every story he'd ever read, such a mass transformation caused at least a brief societal collapse.  Then the Dark Fall happened.  Of anything he might have expected, it wasn't that.  Like many people, he had to desperately scramble to stay alive in the new world, managing to run and barricade himself in the library he did his work-study in with a handful of other people.  They were there for three months before a party of Librarians from the New Great Library came looking to see what books could be salvaged.  The survivors went back with them to the city's main public library, which had been fortified and turned into a sort of fortress settlement supporting a small population.  The leader of the settlement, Melody Ehrens, had a vision of this place outlasting the Dark Fall and providing mankind with the knowledge of the Old World that would let them rebuild and remember what had come before.

Hamilton became one of her Librarians, venturing out from the safety of the New Great Library (as Melody named it) to retrieve valuable books and other forms of written knowledge, as well as other supplies that the settlement might need.  For better or worse, Hamilton has a tendency to get involved in the affairs of other people, walking the earth on his mission but being willing to help others out when and how he can.  He is nervous around anthros because he has observed that demons tend to hunt them but he has no particular animus towards them.
Gear: 24" crowbar, binoculars, combat boots (worn and patched several times), socks, blue jeans, faded Conan The Librarian t-shirt, blue and grey flannel, knapsack with canteen, piece of flint, 30' of rope, scavenged and partly empty first aid kit, several gallon ziploc bags (for transporting books), notebook and pen in a separate ziploc bag, copy of Boy Scouts of America Guidebook (12 year old edition), copy of The Zombie Survival Guide, Swiss army knife, glasses, a few cans of food, bicycle.
Weapons: Marlin Model 60 (.22 semi-auto rifle with 28 rounds on person), 24" crowbar
Skills: Book Savvy, Observant, First Aid
Fears: Breaking/losing his glasses, big spiders, cannibals, being eaten by cannibals, being eaten while still alive

With the influx of humans, I may need to swap-a-roonie to a non-human. Taking suggestions and/or cute non-human images to base the new looks on (concept will remain mostly intact, just gotta fiddle the happening dets.)

Armphid

Did you see him becoming a lizard type like the rest of his family or a different type of non-human?

That's definitely an option. Thou I personally prefer a more fuzzy variety, like cats.

“The Doctor: This is bad, I don't like this. [kicks console and yells in pain] Never use force, you just embarrass yourself. Unless you're cross, in which case... always use force!
Amy: Shall I run and get the manual?
The Doctor: I threw it in a supernova.
Amy: You threw the manual in a supernova? Why?
The Doctor: Because I disagreed with it! Now stop talking to me when I'm cross!”

Happy Thursday everyone!

Meester Chreesafer, is there an ETA on this starting?

I'm sorry everyone, real life just seems to not want me to have fun. Im.placing this story on hold and will reopen it when I get a little more free time to DM my own story. I apologize. I'll contact each person when I reopen the story to get things going.

Thank you all.
