Since I joined, I have been asking this question of several people. Nobody I asked seems to know. The Best Source told me to ask here, so here I am...

Where does the name Elliquiy come from? What is the hidden cabal behind this unusual construct?

I am obsessed with words. I need to know. Please give me my fix.

I tried to find the Q/A thread with Veks where this was answered, but I couldn't. It's actually just a made up word. Vekseid wanted it to be easy to find on a search engine and to have a unique spelling so that it couldn't be easily confused. The reason behind why that one was it sounded the funnest. Years later, a member of E! made an urban dictionary definition that is pretty on point. >_>

That is an extremely cool Urban Dictionary definition.

I am slightly sorry than there is no more complex meaning than that... but at least my craving to know has abated.

Maybe we should come up with some apocryphal etymologies for elliquiy

It's a word I made up, and since no one accepts that as an answer, I made up a definition to go along with it.

The original definition is/was "Your first, true orgasm." shortly after reading the study about how 70% of guys have never had one. If you're a guy and that confuses you, you're one of them.
