And, for other who are interested, I am about to open up the second week of September IC, so there is still plenty of gameplay to go! The first week of September will stay open as well, so there is no need to worry about joining too late. There's really no such thing as joining too late.

I have 2 characters I could play, a male that has previous (very short) game time and a female I just have general bones of. You did say in the build info that rare wand cores may not be allowed, so what are your thoughts on Ashwinder cores? Both of my potentials would be suited for that.

Glad to have your interest! And thank you for the question. I researched the Ashwinder core and it looks as if it's a fan-made core, not a canon core. I am trying to keep this game mostly canon, while only considering branching away from purely canon concepts and ideas for things that will help to progress the game and include more writers. So, I have not been adding any fan-made cores to Ollivander's original list. You can find that list here: in the Accepted Characters thread, at the bottom of the Character Creation post. The wand specifications are included, in spoilers. There should be plenty of variety provided for your two characters.

There is still so much to do, including Quidditch, which has yet to start and we could use more players! This game is a college setting for Hogwarts, and there are absolutely no playable students under the age of 18. Accepting students as well as professors and other faculty members!

Not sure if it has been asked yet, but, I haven't been able to find then name of the model who's photo I wanted to use! May I still use her likeness as a faceclaim? Also, I know that the character sheet has slots for 4 photos... But I've only got one! Could the other 3 photos be of notable features of her appearance (Ex. Tattoos, markings, accessories, etc.)?

It sounds like the FC you’re trying to use might be more of a nameless model, unfortunately. Without a name and multiple images to choose from, it would be difficult to use her in the game. If you like, I can give it a try and see if I can find her name. If not, then I’m afraid I’d have to ask you to use someone else who does have multiple images and a searchable name.
