Origins of the Orchid Club date back to the 1970s. At the height of the hippie movement when love was free and easy, a group of women in San Francisco, California took it upon themselves to create an environment where their daughters could explore their sexuality in comfort and safety. Over time, it would grow and expand to have chapters in New York, LA, Miami, and several other cities over the years, even expanding internationally after a time. Despite this expansion, as the 70's gave way to the 80's, members of the group recognized the need for secrecy and started to take precautions that would eventually cause the Orchid Club to become one of the most well-hidden groups in the world.

Admittance to the Orchid Club comes from invitation only and each chapter is run by a small group of older women with input from the younger women. With the goal and focus on offering young women a safe place to explore and discover, men are perhaps the most closely monitored of the members when going through the initiation process. Once invited to an event by a member, and the offer is accepted, they are required to sign a Nondisclosure Agreement in order to protect the secret nature of the group. The potential recruit is then closely watched at their trial event to determine whether or not they will be a good addition to the group. Some key aspects of that are their ability to respect the boundaries of the girls, and the comfort level that they inspire with their presence. Behavior outside of Club events and functions are especially monitored to ensure the secrecy of the Club as a whole.

Once their trial event is over, the girls will decide whether a new member will be welcomed back or not. If they’re accepted, they then have a standing invitation to attend any event at any Club branch around the world. This is to ensure that if a member moves, they can still continue to be involved if they decide to do so. Upon acceptance as a member, the new addition is given a pendant in the shape of an orchid flower. When worn in public, it allows members of the clubs to recognize one another even if they’ve never met before. In recent times, the orchid symbol has migrated to other form of jewelry and are even worn as tattoos by some members.

Over the decades, the Club has grown and evolved, but has stayed true to their mission to provide the young women a place to safely and comfortably explore their sexuality. Events are held monthly and locations can range from members' homes to rented venues and all sorts of other possibilities. Themed parties also occasionally occur and are considered some of the most fun events that they have.

Welcome to the Orchid Club, a group roleplay game based various avenues of sexual exploration, age gaps, and at times, incestuous acts between family members. Please note that this is not an incest roleplay. Although some scenes within this game include such acts and your character may have an interest in it, but it is not the primary focus of the game.

Rules

To play in The Orchid Club group game, you must first follow and adhere to this list of rules and guidelines:

• First and foremost, we strive to remain compliant with any and all rules and guidelines handed down from the Staff of Elliquiy and expect the same from our players.  If at any time, we find that the game or someone in it is not in compliance, we will take immediate steps to correct this.
• We are decreasing the character limit for all players from 5 to a maximum of THREE (3) characters, for the soft reboot.
• All Daughter characters must be between the ages of 17 and 25.  All Parent characters must be between the ages of 35 and 55.  No male characters under the age of 35 are allowed at this time.
• Please be courteous and be aware of another player’s Ons and Offs. If a certain action is being performed in a scene that is listed in the player’s (or character’s) Off section, he or she has every right to ask you to change it.  And if you refuse, then they can bring it to us and we will address it from there.
• Any non-consensual situation is strictly prohibited in the game.  It can be a part of a characters history if you wish, but it is not allowed at all in the game. Should there be any scene where consent is questionable, we will require immediate clarification be made. If we find any non-consensual activity in the game, the offending posts will be required to be changed and a warning will be issued on the first offense.  On the second, you will be asked to leave and not be welcome back.  Non-consensual activity goes against the very core of the game and will not be tolerated.
• As a way to try and ensure that scenes do not get stalled, considering the changes everyone is experiencing, we require at least one post every 3-4 (pending) from anyone involved in a scene.  On the first time that this becomes an issue, we will contact you about it.  The same with the second time.  On the third, we may consider asking the player to step back from the game.  We do understand that there are times where life does not allow this and just ask that you make a post in the Absence and Apologies thread informing us of the situation.  Details are not required, just a notice so that we are aware that there is an issue.
• If a player withdraws from the game or have not communicated with the GM’s in a timely manner (see above guideline), we hold the right to move the characters belonging to that player into an inactive status. If a player’s circumstances become favorable and the player is able to come back, we can move their characters back into an active status.

Info Regarding Dub!con/Non-con

• This game has been placed in its own board, within the Non-Consensual Human-Freeform Big Groups section of Elliquiy.  This is in acknowledgement of the fact that some scenes that will take place may walk the line between what is and isn’t considered non-consensual.
• Non-Consensual sexual behavior is NOT allowed in this game.  However, Dub-Con is allowed.  Dub-Con, for those that do not know, is short for "Dubious Consent" and involves a situation where consent is unknown or uncertain. A scene with dub-con may begin as a non-consensual act but evolves into a consensual act. It is also dub-con if an act was consensual, but further along elements are added that make it non-consensual (which can result from intoxication, coercion, manipulation, abuse of authority, etc.[1]). For an example, see the bottom of the guidelines.  At Orchid Club events, ALL acts must be completely consensual as per the nature of such events.

Non-Con vs. Dub-Con:  We understand that there may be some confusion on the difference between the two terms.  In the interest of making it clear, we have the following example of Dub-Con.

• Karl Henderson has an argument with his eldest daughter, Joanna Henderson.  In his anger and at the end of his rope, he takes her over his knee and begins to spank her against her will, beginning the situation as a non-consensual act.  However, over the course of the scene, repressed sexual tension comes to the front and Karl and Joanna engage in consensual sexual intercourse.  This is an example of dub-con.

Q & A

Q: What sort of group will this be?
A: With the potential for romance and smut and some kinky flavors, as well as the potential for dub-con to appear, this has been put into its own board, in the NC: Human Freeform Big Groups section of Elliquiy.

Q: How do I get my character approved? Do I need my character's connections sorted out?
A: Send your character sheet(s) in a PM that includes all of the GM's so it can be looked over for blank sections or anything that will not work in the game's mechanics or story. Connections for your character is not a requirement for approval, but the GM's will work with you on connecting your character to other characters.

Q: How old for daughters? How old do Fathers and Mothers need to be?
A: Daughters' ages can be 17-25. Fathers and Mothers need to be aged 35-55, though there may be some exceptions determined by the GM's.

Q: How does The Orchid Club organize their parties? And where do players post in-character entries?
A: Each month, a party or event is held at a location only the members of the Orchid club know, as they will have invitations to grant them entry. This party or event will be placed in a Party/Event Thread. Once a party/event is over, the finished party thread will be locked and a new event thread will be made once it is open. There are also household threads, district threads, and more for stories outside of the party.

Q: Can I still join if the RP has started?
A: You can always join the RP by submitting a character sheet, but the party/event thread is not always open to new characters joining.  There are plenty of opportunities for side scenes while waiting for the next party, however.

Q:  How do the events work?  How do I get started?
A: You're going to need to get invited to a party by an existing member of the Daughter's Playground.  This person will let one of the founding daughters know that they're sponsoring someone, and you will get to go to the party.

Q:  How does a character become a member of the Orchid Club?
A:  A character, whether it be a daughter, father, or mother, will have to be invited by an existing member of the Orchid Club, and then accepted by the club as a prospective member. They are then required to sign a Nondisclosure Agreement in order to protect the secret nature of the group and at a trial event, are monitored for their behavior with other members. Based on their behavior during their trial event, the girl will decide whether to invite the person back to another party or not. If accepted, the new member will be accepted to all Orchid Club events (for more info, see origin story above).

However, that's just story canon and doesn't apply to actual mechanics.  For our purposes, we assume your characters pass all trial periods and are fully accepted into the club if your character is approved.

Q: Where is the game set?
A: This game is set in Miami, FL, specifically in and around the Greater Downtown Miami, including the barrier island of Miami Beach.

Q: When/how often will the game time roll forward to the next month?
A: There is no set timeline in real time for moving game time forward. As GM's, we do our best to gauge how far along the planned scenes for the month have progressed and make a determination accordingly to move time forward in game. You will always be notified before this happens, and we'll do our best to give everyone plenty of time to wrap up their current scenes before we do. If you do happen to have a scene take longer than the time we give, you're always welcome to continue it in the History Thread.

Below, we've provided a code for a character sheet for your character. Please fill out and complete to the best of your ability and send your sheet in a PM to both GM's. If there is anything missing or if there is something that you are not sure about, we will be able to point it out and assist you respectively.

Some guidelines:

• Even if your character is aged below 18, all the pictures of your faceclaim must be aged at least 18 years old, in accordance to Elliquiy's rules.
• If you have photos that you want to upload, I recommend uploading it via Elliquiy's wiki website, Elluiki. It's free and easy to use.
• Please refer to current Character List (in Character Sheet Thread linked below) to determine which faceclaims have been taken. There are also NPC's with faceclaims (a list is found here). If you do not find a faceclaim of your choosing in the character list, please post in this thread or send a PM to the GM's and we will let you know if a faceclaim has been taken or not.
