Nearly there on my character sheet.  Just mainly looking over gear at this point.  There is a source question on the table.  Catalyst released a (very short) book called Gun H(e)aven 3, which added a bunch of guns for both 4e and 5e.  Is that fair game?

A bit late but I'll see if I can squeak in

Ghost

  Ghost wasn't known that well in the underworld before and even less now. Walking through the streets she does her best to avoid the attention of nearly everyone, taking contracts as they come and only known as someone who tries to always have the right tool for the job. She favors runs she can methodically plan and attempts to avoid killing when possible, no need to give free wetwork out by killing guards, and teaming up with others as needed for each job then fading away. Preferring the nearly undetectable bioware to cyber, she walks through the more common cyberware scanners like her namesake, not even using an actual datajack for her comm.

  Her name was kind of hopeful when she started running, turning more into reality as she caught the attention of an AI during a quick run into what she thought was just a minor datahub. Get in, plug in the stick she was provided, get out. Null sweat. What she didn't know at the time was that there was a rogue AI inside the data hub looking to find a way out of the isolated network before it ended up being eventually deleted. What it found was a small stick to hide on that was downloading the data bit by bit.

  The run went successfully enough but it did give the rogue a way out and unbeknownst to Ghost the unusual thing has been flowing through the matrix, learning, processing, and clearing out Ghost's data in thanks without her knowledge. They may one day meet but for now the only thing known is nearly every trace of her runs seems to vanish out leaving Lone Star with even less to go on than they had with every passing day.

Morgana Quinn was an ordinary teenager leading a life of quiet desperation in the Renraku burbs, going to Bright Future High in Seattle.  She though her alienation and weirdness were pretty typical... then it turned out she had Awakened.  She discovered this when Fitz Tatsumoto walked into the girls shower looking for some fun and she burned his arm off with a blast of magical energy.  Fitz was the cousin of an executive VP and two other girls who had rejected his advances had vanished... so she vanished first, running away as far as she could.  Which turned out to be somewhere on the Amazona/Aztlan border.  Things had been mostly quiet since the war, but "mostly" was not "always" and there were a lot of small merc groups operating there.  She discovered this when she broke into the back of a truck and was spotted by a mage for the Screaming Hawks.  Their one and only mage, Boris Craghammer, took her under his wing as an apprentice and she added a considerable amount of firepower to the small unit. 

She fought with and against both major powers in the area and sometimes both at once... in a region that confused, sometimes the left hand didn't know what the right one was doing.  Things did eventually settle down there, and while peace is good for the locals, it's bad for business and the unit splintered.  Boris had taken a bullet to the head two years back and she was at loose ends, deciding to return to her old home town back in the UCAS.  Plus, her mom's second husband has left her and things aren't as easy as they used to be for her.

Her callsign (and now street name) is Arclight, for her ability to call down a lot of destruction.  Sometimes not when strictly necessary... her mentor spirit urges her over the top constantly, and it's hard to ignore her every time. 

She's seen a lot of nasty combat, and beast spirits can tell how many of their kin she's dissipated.  Generally cheerful, she's fun-loving and looks to hook up a lot when not on duty... which is more than it used to be. 

A 24 year old human female with red hair usually pulled back and tied into a braid with a good tan and no visible scars or tattoos.  She favors a military-style duster with a bikini top, camo pants and combat boots beneath it.

It's a big continent, but a small world!  Arc's company might have been hired to provide a diversion for an assassination at some point!

Looking over her sheet, you might want to specialize or consolidate skills a little more.  Since you've got Hand Razors and are never unarmed, you could go 4 in Blades instead of 2 in Blades and 2 in Unarmed.  You might want to bump your Longarms up to 6, as you can have two skills at 5 or one at 6... or, you've nearly got enough to get the whole Firearms Group at 4 if you switch out the individual ones (this does mean you can't specialize though).

Karl is a Giant, born from the marriage of a pair of first-generation Giants. His parents had escaped the pogroms and purges that wracked southern Germany by means of hiding in the forests. Unlike most of Germany's trollkin, they settled in Wuerttemburg rather than join the Troll Kingdom, and after a time gave birth to Karl. Gifted of exceptional size and strength from a very young age forced Karl to be exceedingly careful around 'little people', which in turn taught him to be as careful with his words - talking his way out of danger was always safer than being assumed the aggressor in any resulting fight. And there were plenty of fights to be had, as his father worked for the Pakhan of Hannover's White Vory crime syndicate as a bodyguard, which meant the teenaged Karl - already larger than most grown men - was surrounded by Vory thugs and wannabes. His tongue and hands grew equally talented in that crucible, which eventually brought him to the attention of the syndicate directly for induction. As his father served the kingpin, the kingpin had a young elven daughter who needed a bodyguard of her own.

Unfortunately for everyone else involved, the daughter in question - Hannah by name - was as willfully headstrong as any Vory man. Combined with her developing and slowly nurturing an attraction to her massive and muscular guard, the inevitable seduction and affair proved too much for the limits of the traditionalist Pakhan when it was discovered. Giants were perfect soldiers, but he would not accept one as a paramour for his eldest child; Karl was exiled from Germany and all White Vory territory. Hannah refused to abandon her lover and chose exile as well, as they travelled west through France and across the Atlantic Ocean. Outside of Germany, though, Karl found himself not just unusual but downright freakish, often at odds with Humanis Policlub gangs or other thugs seeking an isolated victim to abuse. The constantly nomadic movement that resulted strained his relationship with Hannah, who had never fully adjusted to the loss of her luxurious pampered lifestyle. After their biggest argument in a Dallas hotel, Hannah stormed out - and never came back. To the best of Karl's efforts she had vanished into thin air without a trace, taking both his love and his last link to home with her. He headed northwest after that, riding the roads alone until he reached Seattle. With the recent Red Vory takeover of the territory, he was no longer barred the city - to the contrary, someone that a White Vory boss held a blood-grudge against was practically welcomed.

He lives in a small converted warehouse in Tacoma, rebuilt to be a comfortably-sized if somewhat spartan apartment for his stature. The building is actually owned by the Red Vory, and in lieu of rent he helps them out a few hours a week as a debt collector or enforcer.


Contacts


Sergei Ivanov - One of the Red Vory's four Brigadiers, and Karl's principal contact to the syndicate. He is as stereotypically Russian as it is possible to be, and prizes Karl as the only person he knows who can out-drink him in vodka, which they do quite frequently.

Whizzbang - A surly and excessively sarcastic fixer, who nonetheless has managed to hook Karl up with several under-the-table jobs when he needed money beyond his syndicate subsidy. Karl has never met them in person, only an anonymized Matrix contact number. He doesn't know if Whizzbang is male or female, or even biological, but he does know their money is always good.

Greta - The dwarven owner and manager of a Tacoma bar, deliberately styled in the fashion of an old German beer hall. The vaulted ceilings would have been enough to make it Karl's favorite bar, but Greta being both another German expatriate and having something almost indistinguishable from German lager for sale guaranteed it. They frequently chat in German until closing time and afterwards as Karl drinks from a mug specially sized for him, while Greta's wife makes good-natured jokes about him keeping Greta up past her bedtime.

Raphael - Skinny, neurotic, and frequently strung out on some manner of experimental chemical concoction, this elf is still an amazingly talented mechanic. Motorcycles are a particular specialty of his, making his garage Karl's first place to visit whenever something goes wrong with his beloved Trollhammer.

Samuel - A clerk at the Seattle Metroplex Bureau of Planning and Construction, whom Karl was once sent to collect on a gambling debt from. Instead of tearing Samuel's arms off, Karl settled for graphically describing the results of doing so the next time he was forced to visit, as he held the smaller man off the ground between two fingers. Somehow, this lodged itself in Samuel's brain as an act of mercy; the debt cleared within a day - now Samuel is occasionally willing to slip Karl some paper copies of city building blueprints.
