Appearance: Light brown hair that has been dyed platinum blonde (every month her roots start showing and she bleaches it again), deep honey eyes and an ever-present tan on her skin. Joanna is average in height at 5'3, but has a very tiny frame. 34C boobs and a small, snatched waist all leading up to a large, perky behind (which she is very proud of!) She has one large scar on her left thigh from a childhood cooking accident that has all but faded to completion from all the time she's spent at the beach growing up. She often either in denim shorts and big hoodies.

Personality: It doesn't get bubblier than this folks. With a smile ever-present on her lips, she glides through life with a strong belief that everyone has a story to tell. She loves making friends, often the one person in the group goading everyone to chat and get to know each other, and has a tendency to claim people are her best friends after exchanging a minimum of two words (something she constantly tries to pull back on from fear it might scare people away). She likes to think she's the funniest person in the room and often laughs at her own jokes, and lives for having fun. She a friendly, flirty, bratty, sarcastic, caring, tanned bundle of joy, but to the surprise of many, isn't one for free kindness. Respect to her is earned, and though she will never be the first to instigate discussion, she's not afraid to go head-on when necessary.

Country of Origin: Brazil (of half british decent)

Background:
Born into a wealthy mixed family in a developing country, Joanna often found herself stranded in between two worlds. A majority of her memories from her mother's numerous dinner parties was her sitting on the floor chatting with the cooks and watching them work until her mother came to fetch her and drag her back to greet guests. She was raised for excellence, always being taught that no matter what she did, it was only worth her time if she could be the best at it, leading the girl to fall into a cycle of panic attacks from a very young age. Throughout her life, she lived life with a forced smile, always trying to cheer herself up and keep going, to a point where now she's never entirely sure if her happiness is real or not. Not that anyone would know, the girl barely discussing feelings with anyone except from her psychiatrist.

With a cold British father and her perfectionist mother, Joanna turned to her friends and even strangers for love and warmth, leading her to seek connections with any being imaginable, regardless of how superficial those relationships were. She found value in all of them, from the friends that were there only for the parties to her one childhood friend, the only unpaid person she ever trusted to talk to about her anxiety.

But one thing she knew for sure, the only moments in her life she was absolutely certain were filled only with happiness was in her grandma's kitchen, leading her to fight for years against her parents' wishes and head to culinary school instead of business school for college. She thought that if she'd be able to make people smile for a living, surely she'd be able to find the source of her own happiness.

Her parents agreed only to send her only to France's top culinary school, where she spent 6 months in an intensive pastry course. The girl instantly went head to head with her teachers, often getting scolded for doing things her own way and not following tradicional cooking methods. But no one was ever able to claim her cakes weren't the most amazing piece of heaven they had ever tasted. When she was approached by Yushu Academy admission board to apply for their school she jumped at the opportunity of being allowed more freedom to explore her craft, a simple Brazilian passion fruit mousse being the only thing needed to get her into the academy.

Sexual Preferences: Joanna lives for being dominated in bed, rather she will admit it or not. Behind her bratty, confident persona is a small little sub that wants to be put in her place and then cared for. She doesn't particularly have a type, open to getting to know anyone that's fun enough and willing to keep up with her personality

Potential plots involving your character? What would you like to see your character do, be involved in?:
- A bake-off! I'm looking at Belle >.<
- a love triangle is always nice
- I'd love to see her develop a very deep friendship with a more closed-off/shy character, seeing how their different personalities clash and complement each other at the same time.
- anything fun! please invite her to all the parties!
- having her go head to head with characters that value rules and order (perhaps she can show them that letting lose isn't so bad?)

Likes:
- brigadeiro (typical brazilian dessert served at kids parties)
- partying, getting drunk and having stories to tell the next morning
- cooking without recipes
- challenges
- making anything sweet
- surprisingly, very bitter coffee
- wearing casual, comfy clothes (but isn't opposed to a fancy night out >.<)

Dislikes:
- scary movies, though she'll always take up a challenge to watch one, as long as she has someone to hide behind
- being bossed around
- bullies, and anyone that makes her friends sad
- any situation where she's in risk of people seeing her panic/cry

Strengths/Advantages:

I'm still debating joining, though again, not sure how much interest there'd be in Arty. XD I don't want to join with a character that nobody wants to play opposite after all xD

I'll think about it some more and commit either way on Wednesday, most likely.

Justin, so far, is the only Bi guy in the classes at the moment, so femboi might not be the most player interactive character to go with, but then again, there’s a whole school of NPC’s to get it on with.

My Madarame boys are not particularly picky concerning gender preferences (probably because I’m not, and I’m certainly no stranger of shounen-ai ships or yaoi scenarios), though they’re on the colder end of “relationship material”. Naito is without a doubt meant to be a villain (and is living up to the name). Koichi I haven’t even introduced but he’s bound to snuggle up to some pretty thing eventually! 😄

Yeah, but just weed. So she grew up in LA with her dad. He grew up growing weed and when it became legal, he went legit. So she started helping with small things at a young age. She learned quickly and when she was 13 she had made a strain called 'Teen Spirit' that was ranked the third best strain at the 420 Cannabis Cup. This lead to her father's grow operation to explode and she became sort of weed famous. Growing weed is her passion. She has been smoking it from the age of nine.

Maryjane specifically on it’s own is no, it’s a rather sophisticated school, but that could fit into botany and the study of plants. Also I’m not comfortable about mentioning childhood use, not sure how staff would view it and I don’t want us to get eyeballed again.

We’ve got quite a variety, athletic fighters, tech prodigies, gaming prodigies, culinary, literature, musical/singing, dance... don’t think there’s a cap on any specific type of prodigy, so long as it’s feasible for the “prestigious gifted school” setting it appears. A fashion designer wouldn’t be unheard of I’m sure!

I'll try, though from what I can tell, the FC I usually use for Arty in Anime games doesn't have a confirmed age, so I try and find versions of art that are unambiguously of-age. I'll do my best, though. ^_^

In this instance the older the character obviously appears, the better, or you run the risk of having E staff request you to remove the image if the character appears to be a minor and/or their age can't be verified.. it's happened. ; o ;

Try having it happen to a cast of 15+ people when you hit big game status and at least half have to change their pictures... man that was a nightmare...
