I'm not ready to start a game yet (and likely going to wait until Scion is open to the public, not just the Kickstarter backers) but is there anyone interested in a game of Scion Second Edition? I do have an idea for a story and a setting, something that is a cool and very appropriate for Scion, but I don't want to spoil it quite yet. Just trying to gauge interest and see if there are other Scion fans on the boards.

I grabbed Origins but didn’t get Hero.  May join depending on various things.

My plan would start with Origins, so you'd be okay from that perspective. We would end up going Hero eventually (and hopefully Demigod and God too if Fate is kind)

I got Origins and Hero in the Kickstarter; I'd be interested in trying them out.

I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I'd be interested.  I kickstarted so I already have the books.

Savage worlds, proving it is entirely possible for someone with no skill in driving to pilot everything from a dune buggy to a flying submarine without failing once but the guy with a d8 in it is the one the other PCs don't let touch the steering wheel.

Okay, I'm going to keep workshopping my plan, but keep an eye open. There's enough interest for it to come sooner rather than later.

Going to share any details on the plot / setting? :)

Not quite yet ready to reveal everything, but...

- Don't plan for a regular Scion game. This Series features a crossover setting rather than just straight up Scion. I think it is a very, very logical crossover, but we shall what people make of it. It still takes place in the World as present in 2e, there's just another (complementary) setting layered overtop it.
- Characters will have to be picked before the plot waveform collapses. When you see the premise it will make sense why. However, it will probably involve going up against organized crime of some form to start.
- Uncertain about it, but I may do something I've never done before and make this a constantly recruiting game, with an aim of going Big Group. Still debating.

I'm going to launch as an entirely new thread and let this one die once it's live so that we have a fresh start (and hopefully so that people only familiar the other half of the crossover feel welcome to come give Scion a shot!).

Scion can lend itself to players coming and going, as Fate makes sure they are where they are supposed to be. In my own Scion game I tend to open it to new players at the start of each story episode, or at a point where its suitable to bring new people into the game.

Touché! I have something else in mind, more like multiple games set in a shared universe. We will see how it works!

That could be trickier. You might end up with several understrength groups, given how group games often go.

I have both Hero and Origins, I know that people were waiting on me earlier but my work life got busy.

Life does that to us all.

True dat.

And I think I just came up with another idea (or two) for Scion campaigns, so we may see a couple pop up. Got to clear some deadlines first though.

I'm interested. I'm pretty sure I backed the KS, so I probably have the PDFs somewhere.

I'm only bumping this once in case anyone bookmarked it. We have a Scion game live!
