[Lady Jenn]

"I'd love to be your bridesmaid," she said, pulling her into a hug before wincing as she pulled away. "Okay, forgot to be a bit more careful there. And I hope you two are ready for how much trouble those two can be," she said, laughing.

" was going to ask if you could join in as a kinda nanny or something at least whilst katya's recovering"

[Lady Jenn]

"I'd be honoured," she said, smiling. "I...I don't know if I'm ready to go out and be a superhero again, or even if I ever will be. Now that me and my...companion have come to an understanding, I think I'd like to just be normal for a bit."

[Lawshenk]

" companion?" She smiled " do tell?"

[Lady Jenn]

"Not like that," she said, laughing. "The creature inside me, after he helped you...while I was unconscious...we had a bit of a heart to heart. He can help me and in return I'll help him explore the world without needing to feed every five minutes. Your brother came up with a different way to sustain him."

[Lawshenk]

" I thought he might do pretty much anything he can for you"

[Lady Jenn]

"Picking a dress for the wedding is gonna be interesting though," she said, moving her sleeve enough to show her right arm was still badly bruised. "I...I don't like showing my body off, even without bruises."

" a puffy dress will cover that " she joked " you should now nitro is in love with you"

[Lady Jenn]

"Yeah, I thought so," she said, sighing. "There...well, there are a few issues with that." She took a box out of her pocket and opened it, showing a plain but beautiful gold ring. "I haven't worn it partly because I didn't want to damage it, but also...dad kind of doesn't know about her yet." She blushed slightly. "I kind of want to invite her to the wedding, but that might be an odd moment to reveal I got engaged without telling him."

" She's lucky so so lucky, is she one off us?"

[Lady Jenn]

Nah," she replied. "She does know about my powers though. We met when I was in a bar drowning my sorrows, I said to her I didn't feel like I had anything to live for, she said if I went on a date with her she'd prove me wrong." She smiled. "That was ten years ago, she was the one who made me realise I was gay. She'd have come here with me but I didn't want her getting hurt, I'm not sure what I'd do if anything happened to her."

" oh any pictures ?"

[Lady Jenn]

"Hold on a sec," she said, getting her phone out and swiping through for a few moments before smiling. "I took this the night she proposed," she said, turning the phone so Geri could see it. Sat on the other side of a candle-lit table, a neon coloured Eiffel Tower in the background, with her head resting on her hand was brown skinned young woman, curly black hair falling haphazardly over her face. "Her name is Lydia, she hates that I took that picture cos she nearly slipped over trying to get down on one knee, hence the state of her hair." She smiled. "But I thought it was the most beautiful I'd ever seen her."

" I'm sure your make a lovely couple and I would love her at the wedding but I don't want a fight to break out ok"

[Lady Jenn]

"I want to tell dad," she said, sighing. "Before you rescued me...I had a moment of thinking I was about to die, and I realised I needed to tell my dad about Lydia. I...I just don't have the first idea how to do it. Could you help?"

" I can try I guess if you don't mind I'm not sure it's right for me though"

[Lady Jenn]

"I'm not saying you tell him for me," she said. "Just...try and help me feel less awkward about doing it myself, if that makes sense."

[Lawshenk]

" I will do what I can" she smiled

[Lady Jenn]

"I'll leave explaining to Nitro why chatting me up would be barking up the wrong tree to you though," she said, laughing. "It sounds silly but I'm not great at telling people things like that." Suddenly a cheeky smile crossed her face. "God, I literally just remembered you were Lydia's first crush, she's gonna be so embarrassed meeting you."

" no she'll meet Gerri no one else "

[Lady Jenn]

"It's not like she's gonna make a move on you," she said. "I hate to break this to you but her crush on you ended when she hit puberty." She stifled a laugh. "She is gonna kill me for telling you that." Suddenly the door opened, Katya walking in and smiling at them.

"So, she told you then?" Katya asked, laughing at Nicole's surprised look. "Come on Nicole, you flirting with Geri before was a little too genuine to be coming from a straight girl." She smiled at Geri. "Don't tell me you only just discovered?"

" no, my gaydar works ok but it is nice to be told and not have to guess or keep it to myself." She smiled " and we have found our nanny"

[Lady Jenn]

"Just got to figure out a bridesmaid's dress that looks okay on me," Nicole said, sighing.

"Nikki," Katya said, wheeling over to her and smiling at her. "You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, you're a beautiful young woman. Besides, I might end up having to be wheeled down the aisle, compared to that a few bruises is an easy thing to handle. Thank you for agreeing to be a nanny though, you're doing us a huge favour."

"Any idea what?" she asked, turning to look at her. "I feel like I'm in danger of being an experiment with the amount of nano machines running around my bloodstream right now."
