Inbox Messages or PM's

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to sort my inbox/PM's by sender name.

For example, I want to create folders with the name of the member who I'm talking to, and save their message to that folder, so that it doesn't clog up my main inbox window. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello there!

You could sort messages into folders if you wish, but it will not clear up your main inbox page. You'll have to manually click on the folder to find a specific PM from a member. However, we do have a way for you to list your PMs as a conversation so they're not just single PMs but an entire conversation just go to change settings and change the display messages menu to "as a conversation".

So, if I'm understanding correctly what you're saying is that by changing the display message to 'as a convo' it'll combine all the messages based on the same topic from the same sender? If so, thanks! That'll work. I just don't want my inbox to be flooded with messages.

That's correct! You can also have multiple conversations with the same member but under different subject titles

For clarifiection; it will not do this for past messages but it will for new messages

You can actually have PMs from specific usernames or usergroups go straight into specific labels and avoid your inbox!

There's a great tutorial on it here. You will still get notification at the top of the page, however you will actually have to click on the label on the left side to get to the message. A set of parenthesis with a number in them will appear next to the label to tell you how many new messages are there.
